Turning off automatic backing bean code generation

Hi,
When I created my JSP page using the wizard I selected to automatically expose UI components in a new managed bean. Is there any way I can now turn this off so that I can just enter the backing code that I want.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Grant,
Sorry I don't think I explained my problem very well.
I've already created the JSP page and don't really want to create the whole thing again with the flag not set. I can remove any code that is already added that I don't want but I was wondering if there is a property I can change so it will no longer automatically add backing bean code whenever I add any new controls to the page.
Thanks for your help,
Dave

I just bought apple i phone 4 10 days back from AT &T Retail outlet, then I set up account on itune and i saw to update the software version and i did it to 4.3.3, after that I am facing  two problem 1) Battery is draining like water and 2) while I was talking on phone with family and friends It turn off automatically, Initially I thought I might made some mistake but afterward I noticed that It happen again and again without I touch anything on screen or at phone. I guess Apple suppose to do something and help the customers, anyway but I am still under 30 days warranty period I am going to return it back and I guess may be there are lot of other options available comparing iphone4. but Lets wait what kind of solutions apple bring to me.

Do you have a question or are you just here to rant?
No matter what the product, there will always be some off the line that are defective. It's a fact of life.
The phone has a 1 year Warranty, not 30 days. I'm sure they'll be happy to replace it for you.
Now, that said, have you bothered to sync the phone to make sure you don't have to come back whining because you got your phone replaced and now you can't find your stuff?

  • HT1535 I would like to move my songs from my ipod nano back on to my freshly reinstalled windows and iTunes.  Can that be done?  I turned off automatic syncing so I can charge up the ipod.

I would like to move my songs from my ipod nano back on to my freshly reinstalled windows and iTunes.  Can that be done?  I turned off automatic syncing so I can charge up the ipod.  Help!

You won't be able to, just by navigating out the iPod's photos folder in iTunes. You'll likely need the help of some sort of third party software to get the job done for you.  One thing you'll want to keep in mind about these photos is that they are no longer in their full resolution, but instead are scaled down thumbnail versions that were optimized for viewing on your iPod's Video smaller 2.5" LCD display.

How do I turn off automatic sing in Skype?
    i work with Windows,Mac& ipad..

Hi and welcome to the Skype Community,
On Skype for desktop (Windows, Mac) just use "Sign out" from the "Skype" menu once. This will take you back to the Skype sign in screen. Next time you sign in from there just make sure you have the "Sign me in when Skype starts" checkbox not checked.
    On Skype for iPad:
Open the Skype app settings from the iOS settings menu. I think there should be an option to disable automatic sign in.

  • How do I turn off automatic streaming of MP3 audio?

I like to download podcasts directly to my desktop so I can later transfer them to my Sansa media player. Now that I've installed Quicktime podcasts stream and play automatically in my Firefox browser window. What settings do I change to turn off automatic streaming of MP3 audio?

Well, in fact I have the same problem. And by the way, I dislike marketing tricks as proposing that you buy the pro-version of quicktime if you ever want to download mp3-files again (as a right click on the quicktime browser-player does).
I already switched off every file link and stream-related ghismo that points towards quicktime as player, in the quickime control in control panel as wel on any other place I could find.
But the only thing I acchieved is, that IE now starts downloading as soon as I go to a link to an MP3 file and after some time it says "ready".
An firefox stubbornly keeps opening the quicktime player.
I tend to disagree with IE as I can't find any file on my system, with regardless what searching technique.
Is there a way to get things back to normal without uninstalling Quicktime and reinstalling my browsers (wich is useless as Itunes will prompt me to reinstall quicktime)???

  • Removing Automatic Backing Bean Updates in Jdev 11.1.2.2.0

    Hi,
in the User Guide and in the book "Jdeveloper 11g Handbook" I'm reading:
    Remove Automatic Backing Bean Updates
    1. Click page.jspx file tab. Click the Design tab
    2. Select Design | Page Properties and click the Component Binding tab. Unselect Auto Bind.
Why I cannot locate Page Properties and the Component Bind tab?
Where is? Can help me with some print screen?
    Thansk in advice

    Hi,
Actually first chance to switch it off is when you create a new page: There is a managed bean tab in which you can do this. For existing pages, open the page in the visual editor and choose Design --> Page Properties from teh JDeveloper menu. In the opened dialog there is a "Component Binding" tab you press

I have bought iPhone 5 couple of days back and it has turned off automatically. No physical damage or mishandling has been done to the handset

Let it charge for at least 20 minutes.

Note: You will not lose any data.

my iphone 4 turns off automatically after screen lock, i have to press the POWER + HOME button during 10 secondes for reboot.
And it's like that every time i lock the screen.

    Anne,
I hope this information is still going to be useful to you:

I don't know why you're asking this question but if it's applicable heed the warning about backing up your music. Otherwise you run the very real risk of losing your music.
And that's not a good thing.

  • How do I turn off automatic sync?

I recently accidently deleted most of my itunes music library. Previously I had itunes set to automatic sync. All my music is on my ipod classic and I want to keep it. I am worried that if I connect my ipod to the PC it will automatically sync and will delete most of the music on my ipod. How do I turn off automatic sync and set it to manual sync? Is there a way of changing the settings without connecting the ipod? Would it be of any help if I had access to another ipod and could I use this to change settings. I would be very grateful for any help.
    Padraig

To prevent auto sync, connect the iPod whilst holding down the 'control+shift' keys and do not let them go until your iPod appears in iTunes.
If you see a message that your iPod is associated with a different library and asks if you want to link to new one, make sure you press "Cancel".
If you should click on "Erase and Sync" will erase all the content currently on your iPod and it will be replaced with the content of the iTunes library you just connected to.
When you've pressed cancel your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list under "devices" and allow you to change the update setting to manage the iPod content manually, and that will let you use your iPod for the time being without the risk of accidentally erasing the contents.
Then do any of the following to transfer your music from iPod back to the computer/iTunes.
For iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.
Find out how to do that here.
How to copy iTunes purchases from an iPod or iPhone to a computer.
For all other non purchased content (your own CDs etc), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it is a little more involved than other methods.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Other free programs are Pod Player, SharePod and Floola and iDump.
If you want to recover just the structure of playlists from the iPod (and not the actual song files themselves), there's iRepo for Windows. which I understand has this feature along with all the standard features for these programs.
iPodRip also has the feature enabling you to reconstruct playlists.
There is also CopyTrans. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.

  • Face Time turns off automatically

    Hi,
My friend has a problem with face time. Every time he is turning off his device, face time turns off automatically. So every time he is reactivating FaceTime it coasts him an international SMS. any ideas why?

Not normal at all. First try restoring your phone as a "new" device in itunes, NOT from backup. Follow this by syncing your itunes content back to your phone. If the issue persists, make an appointment at an Apple store.

I got my ipod touch 2nd for about two month and I have always been using it without turning it off. From the time I got it this device sometimes was turning off automatically and it coudn't be turned on by pressing Power button on the top. The only way to make it active is using Power button and Home button to reset it. This problem makes me upset. Could anyone give a help? Thanks a lot!

Is your battery getting low on power? I've noticed that if my battery gets too low the screen will freeze and trying to turn it off doesn't work. As soon as I recharge the battery, everything is back to normal.
