Turning off previous recipient memorization

Is there a way to permanently disable Mail's ability to memorize previous recipients? I see I can get into the Previous Recipients window and delete all or individual entries, but I'd prefer turning this feature off entirely. I only ever want people who are in my address book to be listed during autocomplete.

If you want to disable the Previous Recipients feature, you can do it with this command in Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.mail SuppressAddressHistory -bool true
Neither Mail nor Address Book should be running at the time you do this. As the OP stated they don't want anyone in that list except people who are in their Address Book, if they add someone to their address book, they will need to reverse this command before that person could be added to the Previous Recipients list.

If you just want to turn of the automation you can select Off from the drop down menu in the automation box at the bottom of a track. If you want to reset all automation points on an envelope click on the Erasure button in the tracks Automation lane panel.

Go into ''Tools > Options > General > Startup:When Firefox starts:'' and configure it as you want (probably to show your home page?). This is the very first option that appears in the options screen, but I understand that it may not be very easy to find. Firefox 4 will not include any redesign to the options screen (except possibly it appearing in a tab, rather than in a popup), but you may interested to know that there are plans to redesign the options screen for versions after Firefox 4, to make it easier to use. If you want to know more about the redesign, just ask.
Anyway, if that doesn't help (it probably does, but just in case), it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. I have gone and changed my settings to a different email on my icloud / apple ID but on my phone it won't let me change the email address for icloud, it's greyed over and keeps trying to verify?

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

You can't. When you migrate user accounts, those settings will be used. That's the point of migrating, not to have to reset things Peruse Pondini's Setup New Mac guide for details.
If you want to revert to the original user settings, create an new admin user account. That'll use the default user setup.

This past month I have been having problems connecting to my home wireless connection. I have a MacBook Pro OSX Version 10.6.8. Previously I had no problems whatsoever. I have tried unplugging the wireless router, turning off the wirless airport, deleting the network name from my list of servers and trying to reconnect this way. These methods have worked temporarily, but the same problem keeps coming back. Most of the time my personal wireless connection does not even come up among the list of available networks. My fellow flatmates have PCs and both of them are able to connect to the network without problem.
The router is a d-link model DIR-615. I am not tech savy, so if any other information need to be provided in order to better understand my situation, please let me know.

If I open the list of networks in a window it says "connection timeout," but if I just select it from the drop down it tries for awhile and then stops with no prompt. When I try to run network diagnostics it says "sorry, we can't connect to the internet" (or some solution-free variation of that)

I've removed my yahoo account several times. All it does is delete the info off my iPad and doesn't touch the account itself. So I can go back in, re-add the account and then redownload my mail again. I haven't had to change my passwords or anything.

After this frustrating event, just wanted to let others know how I solved it. After fully deleting iTunes 8 - still no success. Finally went to the Apple store in Perth WA. Using their in store wireless, it downloaded fully. I use wireless 3 and obviuosly the signal is not strong enough. The Apple store is one amzing experience - worth the frustration with getting iTunes 10 downloaded. Will have to take another visit to the store as my upgrades keep falling over.
