Turning unit off and on

I am thinking of getting an airport express to replace my linksys router and was wondering if I turn the unit off at night as I usually do, does it reset to defualt setting when i turn it back on or will it come back up the same when powered up? Also, how does this unit compare in signal strength to a linksys. Similar?

The AirPort Express Base Station (AX) stores its current configuration in non-volatile memory so powering-off the unit does not delete its settings.
Also, how does this unit compare in signal strength to a linksys.
The AX supports the 802.11g standard and has an advertised effective radio range (in open space) of 50' @ 54 Mbps and 150' @ 11 Mbps. There are many Linksys models so a comparison would be difficult.

my C6380 seems to randomly display the mentioned Message "Please turn printer off and on" for no apparent reason. Everything is working fine ... printing, scaning, copying. It just happens, some time after you turn it on and submitted the first print job since powering on. Since that might be just when the print head is parked, I initially suspected something with the dock, but after cleaning (some serious leakage of ink everywhere), nothing changed ... although I would not rule it out completely.
I already disassembled the unit and cleaned all optical position sensors, removed some more gunk from the dock and checked all connectors for proper connection, relubricated all bearings. Didn't change anything.
From the Service Menu I got the following codes:

I consider myself qualified to carry out any required operation, I have most tools (any common special screw driver, oscilloscope, soldering iron, rework station, LCR-Tester, laboratory power supply, ...) at hand that might be required to investigate and fix this.
Anybody have some good suggestions or knwos how to decode those error codes? I did not find anything at all on the internet about them.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I would start your troubleshooting with the article below for issues of not being able to log in to your Mac. Start with booting up in to Safe Boot as well as resetting PRAM on your Mac. If that does not work, then verify the hard drive with booting to the Recover HD and go to Disk Utility to verify it.

You need a computer with iTunes and an internet connection
Try:
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

This happens each and every time, on different Wifi networks, in different locations. On the other hand, I don't ever encounter this problem when I tether my laptop to my mobile phone's 3g/2g network using Personal Hotspot. How do I fix this?

Open System Preferences > Network > Advanced > DNS
Click + and type:
208.67.222.222
Click + again and do the same.

Click OK.

My iPod touch has no sound when I play music or use the iPod touch at all. Yes, the volume in the "sounds" is all the way up. It has not been dropped or gotten wet. I turned it off and on. now what?

When I push the side volume button, there is no image that appears in the screen that shows that I am either raising or lowering the volume. Do I need to just rest the ipod touch as a new device? Mine has been doing this auto eject stuff too.
I think I just plugged it in and TM let me select it but is it possible
I should have reformatted it with DU first, like with all the WD drive problems ?
Is it too late for that ?
Or just try to return it or get rid of it ?

Hi. Don't worry it's nothing serious. Insert the Instal Disc (Snow Leopard) and press the C button while turning on the computer. Once you see the desktop, go to Utility and choose Disk Utility. Select the Macintosh Partition on the left window pane and then click on Repair Disk and Repair Disk Permissions on the bottom right corner. Wait for both processes to finish. Click on the Apple icon (top left corner) and choose quit. Your computer should restart. See if it reboots normally. If not you can always reinstall the OS following the same steps. Good luck!

I see that it has been awhile since you have posted with us on the HP Forums. Please let me take a moment to say "Welcome Back".
I see that you are having an issue with the printer shutting it self off and not powering back on.
By chance do you have the printer power cable connected to a power bar/strip? If so, please try connecting the printers power cable directly to a wall outlet. Here is a document that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
The printer in the document is a LaserJet printer but this document is meant for HP products in general and only uses the LaserJet as an example.
I am also going to include a document for when The HP Printer Won't Turn On or Respond When the Power Button is Pressed.
