Tutor lead online BC courses

Hi,
I have been trying to find a online course I can follow teaching me the in and outs of BC, but specifically for a dreamweaver users point of view. Taking full advantage of all the features BC has to offer.
Ideally this would be tutor lead and I can attend online.
Im struggling to find anything. I'm aware of Lydna.com, but I find there videos very tedious! Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Online Java courses ?

Folks,
Does anyone know of a good online Java course where there are server resources available for uploading servlets and connecting to database, etc. and testing them in a client/server environment ?
Some of the tutorials are great, but you need a server to test with...unless of course there is something I can install to simulate a client/server environment.

All you have to do to test servlets is to install a web server (that supports servlets) on your machine, Tomcat is the most widely used and it's free.
Then you can start the server and go to the local url with your browser (http://localhost:8080) and you have a complete client-server environment on your machine.

I need to know how to get Firefox 3 back???? My online college course requires me to have that version and I upgraded to 4 without knowing! HELP!

First, make a backup of your computer for safekeeping. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4, and uninstall it. Do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Then finally you can reinstall Firefox 3.6. Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, it should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself!

I completed a quiz for an online tax course and get a message that I was not connected to the internet when I tried to submit my answers, but I am connected.

I know I am connected to the internet, because I can access email and other websites. Is there a setting in Firefox that is preventing the results from being transmitted back? The quiz is administered by Questiomark Perception. The online tax course is offered by Liberty Tax Service

Online study course is offering ebooks instead of online. Versions of ebooks are azw3, epub and mobi. Does Ibooks read any of these versions?

iBooks does. I use Dropbox to transfer my .epub/.mobi files, just upload them, access them on the iPad, then share it to Books.

Previous post from "Not Anonymous" but from the original poster; I used the link provided in the email notification and now have to indicate who I am???
Thanks; starting FireFox in safe mode and disabling all add-ons did solve the problem; however, a new problem has emerged. To re-enable the add-ons, you need to open up and use the add-ons control panel through FireFox. Any attempt to do so causes the FireFox add-on control page to close immediately.

Is there going to be any more online training courses released soon for BC? Anywhere? I'm seriously baffled by the lack of educational meterial out there. ALL of the adobe tutorials are out of date and the subjects are on small fragments of the whole platform. No complete training packages but one out there. I don't mind paying for it but I need a full and complete online training process, experience that isn't all over the place. I can't even find any books that are on the current version of BC.
Why is there a serious lack of traning out there for BC? I just can't figure it out.

FrameMaker 10 Online Training Courses

I am new to FrameMaker and am looking for a good quality online course to cover the use of FrameMaker and development of structured documents. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I prefer something video based with ongoing access to review as needed.

Is the problem only on one site??
If you get the same error in all browsers, it could be your security software. Often there will be a set of privacy options that allow you to filter what is sent to sites. Can you find anything like that and see whether any cookies are blocked, such as "third party" cookies?
In case the message is referring to Flash Local Storage Objects (sometimes called supercookies) instead of regular browser cookies, you can check your Flash storage settings on these pages:

Why does my published Captivate file show online as "Course Object Title?"

In my company's Moodle online training site, my published Capivate course appears as:
Captivate E-Learning Course
Course Object Title
To view the course, users have to click on "Course Object Title."
I can live with the involuntary advertisement for Captivate (sigh), but I'd like the clickable link to be the name of the course.
Can anyone help with this, or is it a Captivate bug?

Under Preferences/Reporting/Scorm 1.2/Configure (Manifest if not in cptx 6)
Another window pops up. The Course Title (Captivate E-Learning Course) is what shows up in the LMS and the SCO title (Course Object Title) is what shows up in the PopUp window (at least in my LMS). So you'll need to changes those to your unique titles. For the SCO title, I typically put an abbreciated version of the course title plus "CLICK HERE" so the user knows they still have something else to click).

From your description it sounds like your course is made up of several different project files, each of which has a quiz at the end, correct?
Self-paced learning option only applies separately within each module. So if you have several different modules, self-paced learning won't do what you want.
If your modules are all separate then you need some other method of locking participants out of sections they have not as yet reached. This is something that LMSs can do and that's why I asked if you had one.

Using Firefox 7.0.1 & am trying to clear cache, because Firefox crashes during online college courses (Firefox 3.0 or higher is a supported school browser), and I keep getting an error message about 'Quick Time.' Using pc - Windows 7 Home 64 bit.

As soon as I open up Firefox - it crashes on me. It takes me at least two or three attempts. I downloaded Firefox from the Firefox website and also use it for Facebook. I am wondering if it is because I also alternate between using IE as well? While attempting to open my school e-text, a message popped up that if experiencing problems opening my e-text - then I should clear cache and cookies which I cannot do - because of the "Quick Time error message."

As you can see below, when I right click, I have no such option. In the User Account Settings, I'm operating as the "System Administrator".
Any other suggestions?

Online Video Editing Courses/Videos, Adobe PP, Help?

I am a traveller, and photographer, so my style is pretty much travelling, capturing scenery and cutting video and music together, with the skill to do interesting chops, transitions etc that give off a certain feel, mood and passion like the video above.
I have the DSLR gear for video, as I have been doing photography for several years, the very basic skills to edit simple clips together in Premiere Pro, but I would like to work with sound, faster chops, transitions, I want to take it to a more deeper level, so I can create films like that video above.

Can you recommend me any GOOD sites to learn Premiere Pro / Video Editing in this style or type of editing?
I have tried a few, but I get incredibly dry of motivation in tutorials when they are not really relevant (like learning to cut an interview when I want to create films like the above, etc)

Are you talking about the art of editing, as opposed to the mechanics? I believe the art -- trying to visualize what you want to see -- comes before the mechanics of how to do it, and most app-specific tutorials are about the mechanics and leave out the art.
