Hello everyone...
Today in this tutorial we will learn how to Query database with Dreamweaver CS3 advanced Recordset Filter, Retrieving all posted articles from database depending on the day when it posted on the "Startdate_arc", or hide all articles if the end date comes "Enddate_arc".
Also you can post new articles today and publish it next week, next month, next year, in your website as you wish. by selecting a date when it published on, so it will be completely hidden from your website visitors untill the publish date comes, then they can read it, comment it etc...
Also you can define when this articles ends on, or expires on, all expired articles will be completely hidden from your website visitors when defined expiration date comes.
Note: Articles will not completely deleted from database, but it will remain archived as a reference untill you delete it permanently from database, Quering advanced recordset gives you many options to retreive custom data from your database.
Our application today will not be different from the "News system" i made before, the sequence of adding categories, posting new articles, building dynamic lists and building dynamic form is the same.
Also there is an advanced search engine attached within this application allowing visitors to search archived articles, by selecting the date when the articles posted on, and the date when it expires on, or they can choose a wide range of search by selecting period from time to time to search archived articles.
As i always accustomed in every tutorial i made, i make it`s own live example to proof my explination.

But if you now can help me with this multi image to database issue:
is it possible with dw cs4 and addt 1.0.1? I can't get it right...
Load multi image upload work's and saves files right, but can't get in to those because url names aren't in the database?
Multi image upload with save to database wizard is the problem - it allways get errors...
Is there same workaround that help's to get multi url's to the database with info: id_pic id_news and url for pics?

I can follow your tutorial steps 1,2 and 3 ok but I get lost in part 4 "building results page" It is all a bit over my head but I have been trying

But in you next diagram there are KTCColParam1,2,3,4,5 and six and I not sure how to configure them?

but the Update Record, to change the user's information will not work.
to achieve that go to the users area and create a new page named "update_information.php" or what ever you prefer.
apply the basic update form wizard to the page by selecting > server behavior > adobe developer toolbox > forms > update record form wizard
1- select the required fields like: database name | table name "where the users information stored in".
2- select which fields you want the user to update "User name | Password | Email address etc...
3- in the primary field value equal to "URL Parameter" the "tbl_id" change it to be "SESSION VALE" & in the value textbox add this value -- kt_login_id
click the next button to continue
in the validation rules select the desired fields you wish to become required.
Click the Finish button to end the wizard.
now you have a user update information page restricted only to registered users in your website.
don`t forgot to apply the "restrict access to page" over the page to make sure it`s protected.

AD: Auto Archive Outlook 2010 GPO

Hello,
I am currently testing Auto Archiving in Outlook 2010 via GPO but am having a little trouble with it. I copied the ADMX files to the DC and the workstation I am testing it from. I was able to get the policy applied and everything seems to be working. However,
here is where I am confused. I have it set to auto archive anything older than a month (to test) and the only thing I see archived are Sent emails. Does anyone know why it did not archive the Inbox and anything that was older than a month in it?
On this test machine:

Please use Group Policy Management Console to generate a Group Policy result to check policy apply status.
After you applied Outlook 2010 Auto Archive policy, its data are stored at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\14.0\outlook\preferences
Check such registry hive in your client; make sure your user applied the policy successfully.

Outlook 2007 auto archiving not start

I have setup the auto archive to run everyday, and turn on already. And confirmed setup the Inbox for do the archiving too.
And enabled a Prompt to ask me for the archiving in everytime. But everytime when I start the outlook 2007,it didn't prompt me or run it by auto.

I'm working in AppleScript Editor v2.6.1 (152.1), Microsoft Outlook 2011 v14.3.5, OSX 10.9.4 Mavericks.

Ok, red_menace above me had a shorter and more elegant solution to the question, I'm adding this just for another example.
To solve your problem I'd make a mail rule that looked for any messages with "Filename:" in them (along with whatever criteria you wanted, like sender, domain, etc). The mail rule would execute the Applescript. My assumption is that the "Filename:foobar" text could be anywhere in the email, not necessarily the first thing in a paragraph, so I had to parse it differently.
The results end up in a datalist, (theFilename {} ) that you can parse later to collect all filenames found in whatever messages were processed.
I realize this could be cleaner, hope it's not hard to follow, but I did it really fast. It works flawlessly for me, picking out the name of the file no matter where in the email it appears.

Tip: Mail vs Gmail - Auto archive and duplicated messages.

This is not a fix, just a simple workaround until Apple and Google find a solution for this problem.
Go to GMail Settings >> Forwarding and POP/IMAP >> Forward and make Gmail forward every message to another account, in my case I chose my @me.com account. Don't forget to save your changes.
Go to Mail Preferences >> Accounts >> Gmail and uncheck "Enable this account"
Go to your iPhone Settings >> Mail, Contacts and Calendars >> Gmail >> and uncheck the mail.
Repeat in your iPad.
In this way, I am still receiving my Gmail messages, but without the annoying auto-archiving issues and the eternal synching between Mail and Gmail. Mail runs much lighter... like before Maverick!
It is not perfect though:
Cannot access your GMail's old messages and archives from within Mail: have to go directly to Gmail for that.
Cannot reply from your GMail address from within Mail.
If you can live with that, this solution might help you while we wait for the real fix to come.

Yes, as I mentioned above, it is definitely the Mac or Mac Mail doing the substitution of two dashes into one longer dash, despite it being in the middle of a URL. Even if I personally had that in system settings somewhere it wouldn't help resolve the problem because I can't change all the recipients' preferences. If it's a system preference it's the default because multiple Mac Mail users mentioned it to me.
Maybe I just have to create a tinyUrl if I need to post a URL containing two dashes, to accommodate Mac Mail users?
About the Japanese encoding, you and I go way back on these issues (I remember previous posts). What you say might be true, but it's difficult to do that every single time you mail a message. Do you happen to know a way of setting a default for all outgoing messages? On the other hand, I'm not sure what encoding AU is expecting. If they handle utf-8 well then if I could force Mail to always use utf-8 that would be good. Otherwise it's really cumbersome to do a manual setting before each reply!

Auto-archiving streams with H.264 video

My CDN is running FMS, and my customers and I stream a lot of live traffic through it. We've got FMS configured to auto-archive our live streams, but that only works for stream using VP6 video. When I look at the archived files captured from H.264 streams I get audio but no video.
Is it possible to get FMS to autoarchive H.264 streams? Or is this planned for a future release of FMS?

We do indeed have a script running to do our auto-archving. It currently doesn't recognize h.264, but with the info you provided I should be able to modify it to do so.

Auto archiving Outlook for pop3 mailbox

I know it is possible to set auto archiving in outlook with the implementation of rules for exchange account.
I wonder if auto archiving can be performed for pop3 accounts. Basically trying to auto-archive old email from outlook and save them in NAS device. Don't want to run Time Machine as it will start to backup the whole system.

According to your description, I noticed that “If we type in the user's email address and name and click Next, the profile is created successfully”. Do you mean the linked mailbox can be setup automatically when you fill in the Name and E-mail Address in
the Auto Account Setup page? For example:
If that is the case, the autodiscover service in Exchange side should be configured correctly and it is working for Outlook client automatically account setup.
If the account can’t be setup automatically when using autodiscover service, please
verify that the Master Account (Domain2\User1) has full access to the Linked Mailbox ([email protected]) as well as the smtp address using the cmdlets Get-Mailbox and Get-MailboxPermission in Exchange server:

Auto Archiving outlook 2010 GPO request

I'm wanting to setup a GPO to auto archive the user emails every 3 months. I want it to archive to their machine, backup to their private network folder, and index the archive from the machine, not from the network folder. this one is tricky.

Isn't the Office bundled on Dell machines already activated?
If it's the OEM version that has been installed on the machines and you want to use retail product keys to activate the Office, it's not possible. You will need to uninstall the OEM version and install the retail version.

GR/IR not auto clear in system

Hi All,
GR/IR not auto clear in system
Normally every week end the system automatically clears the open items in f.13, But this time it has not clear the open items
What could be the reason the system not to clear open items on the week end.
So that's the reason the user manually cleared the open items
- User has performed F.13 on 26th of Oct but system didn't auto clear the open items.
- Those documents are posted prior to 26th of Oct and user would like to know what cause to incident.
Please suggest me what should be the reason to come out of this issue.

I trying to auto clear fbl3n open items in f.13, every week end the system defaultly auto clears all the open items in the system but last weekend it has not been done that job.
Suggest me what should be the reason for the above issue.

How to Disable "Auto Align" in [System Pref.] - [Display] - [Arrangement]

Does anyone know How to Disable "Auto Align" in [System Preferences] -> [Display] -> [Arrangement]?
It always want to align the two screens from the top when they are lined up close together and I need them to be aligned from the bottom. Since the resolution heights are so close together (1080 & 1050) it does not allow one to align side by side from the bottom as it prioritizes top alignment.
I guess I'm looking for a script to disable this feature.

Anyone got any ideas?

Build EJB Archive unsuccessfull

I was just trying my hand at Module programming and thought i wud start off with "Step by step guide to develop a module for reading file name in a sender file
adapter" by Krishnakumar Ramamoorthy.
Seems alls done but the problem is when i try to create bean archive (Page 10 of the pdf) it doesnt give me the option. Build EJB Archive link seems to be disabled in my case.
Any pointers Experts ??

If you see only these 3 then it means you have already added the ejb candidate to the ejb-jar.xml. In that case i would suggest you to :
1. expand ejb-jar.xml in the same view i.e. J2EE Explorer.
2. delete the ejb entry from there.
3. this will automatically refresh the view and will now show ejb candidates. now add the same as again to ejb-jar.xml
4. Now double click on ejb-jar.xml and go to source tab.Make sure the configuration values for following tags confirm to
<home>com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleHome</home>
<remote>com.sap.aii.af.mp.module.ModuleRemote</remote>
