Tutorial Builder for other Adobe applications?

I teach Flash.  Anything in the works for Tutorial Builder to work with flash?  I love this tool!

Hi!
At this time, we are not supporting Flash. Thanks for your interest. We will let you know if we release a Flash version of Tutorial Builder.

I am having issues with Sidebar files not appearing from within InDesign CS5.5. They show up fine from other Adobe applications. Using OS10.6.8.

I would first of all trash the preference file for InDesign, make sure the application is closed then find the prefs in
/Users/USER NAME/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign and just throw the entire folder away, it will generate a new one after you launch InDesign again.
Now launch InDesign and see if the problems are resolved.
If not I would repair your permissions on your hard drive wih disk utility, and if that fails then di-install InDesign and re-install that single application.
Let me know if any of these suggestions work for you
I will be checking my email although you might have to wait for a response as I will be taking a microlight flight over the Victoria Falls tomorrow. Yay can hardly wait.

  • Photoshop CS6 (and other Adobe applications) keep crashing

The crashing started with the Retina update for Photoshop and Illustrator. At first the occasional crash happend, but now it's doing it litreally every 2 minutes! I don't think its a problem with my system since the issue started as soon as I got the Retina update and I've had no issues prior. If it helps I have the 2.3GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB 1600MHz RAM, Retina Macbook Pro with OS X version 10.8.2. I'm not sure if all of the Adobe applications are affected, but I know Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign are.
This is part of the "Problem Details" window that popped up after crashing:

This really needs to be fixed, if anyone has a solution please let me know, it's making my A-levels impossible to do!
    Thanks
EDIT: I've noticed that when I press the T key in InDesign to bring up the type tool, the application crashes. Trying this in Photoshop it doesn't! Very strange.

We can't help you with InDesign crashes in this forum.
And to figure out the cause of a crash, we'd need to see the entire crash report, not just the first few lines.
But you should make sure that all the applicaitons are up to date.

  • Will this processor handle premiere and other adobe applications?

I am in the begining process of building a computer with the goal of handling a machine that will run smoothly as I use the more intensive adobe programs. I know video editing is generally the most intensive applications but I would also be running after effects, photoshop, and illustrator on this machine.
The processor I am looking at is an
    Intel® Core™ i7-4790K Processor
(8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)
I know there is more to my cpu performance than just processor, but specifically looking at a processor will this handle my usage?
Is intel a trusted brand when it comes to Adobe?
    Thanks

I'm going to be heading out of town for nearly a month and thought of getting a Netbook to (basically) dump my 20D raws onto while I'm away from the home computer. Then I thought for a few dollars more I could get something small but with enough 'Oomph' in it to handle LR and CS4. So I'm considering this one...

I'm not sure where this fits in relation to a Pentium4 which is supposedly the minimum. Has anyone any experience with this Intel processor or may be able to give me some advice...other than go for an even more expensive laptop.
A Core 2 Solo is a single core version of a Core 2 Duo (fancy that!
). The "Core 2" is an improvement on the Pentium design, so it's a
    step up.
    I run LR 2.5 on a Pentium D (that's a dual core 64 bit Pentium), and
it's fine ... until you use the adjustment brush. Otherwise, for
cataloging, keywording, developing, using presets, etc, it's fine. So
a Core 2 Solo should be OK - as long as you don't want it as a
"primary" LR developing machine for more than "basic" developing.
However, laptop speeds are generally slower than desktop speeds.
Rendering 1:1 previews the first time, tho ... multiple minutes until
it finishes. Although you can still do some work, while it renders.
I've done CS4 on my Pentium D. Some things (like panoramas) can be
    horrifyingly slow. Be aware ...
Get at least 4G of RAM, if you do.

  • Cannot capture other Adobe applications

I cannot seem to capture most Adobe CS4 applications, using Captivate 5.5, such as Illustrator, Soundbooth, Fireworks, and Photoshop.  when I select Software Simulation and choose application, these products do not appear, although they are open.  I would appreciate any ideas or solutions.

DVD players often add a copy protection flag to the video output - even if it's your very own DVD-R that you made. Not fair, I know, but that could be the issue. To test, simply connect the VHS deck again. Does it work? Yes? Then connect DVD, quits working, there's the issue.
Actually, you don't need to "capture" from DVD. One option is to simply copy the ".vob" files from the disc to your hard drive, then you can import them right into Premiere and edit them! Not sure when that feature was added, definitely works in my CS6. Try it.
Another option is to use software to convert the DVD into video clips which can also then be edited in Premiere. For instance, MPEG Streamclip which is free, can convert DVD to QuickTime .mov for editing. Might need to experiment with the settings, haven't used it in a few years myself. There are many other softwares, paid and free, to do similar.

  • GUI building for a simple application

    Hi;
I' ld like to seek for opinion, if I'll need to build a small application with GUI support, whatis the recommendation?
I want to consider the factors as below:
    - fast
    - time saving
    - easy handling
    thanks.

I want to consider the factors as below:
    - fast
    - time saving
    - easy handlingyour factors are oo small and too general. Almost all major programming languages (using IDE) provides those factors.
you need to dig a little deeper and ask question regarding your application requirement..like:
    - what platform would your application supports?
    - would you be maintaing the application (upgrade, etc) or it's a write once thing
    - Does you application interact with other application (like MS Excel, Linux OS)
    - etc..
Once you have understood your requirement, you can then look at the technology available to determine what best work for your application (you will weigh in tradeoff)

  • CMap files installed by Photoshop 6 causes problems in other Adobe applications.

Q: After installing Photoshop 6, I am unable to launch ImageStyler 1.0 or ImageReady 1.0 and when I exit PageMaker 6.5, I get a kernel32.dll error. What's going on?
A: Photoshop 6 installs 2 CMap files that are incompatible with ImageStyler ImageReady 1.0, and PageMaker 6.5. To resolve the problem, remove the 2 CMap files "Adobe-Japan1-PS-H" and "Adobe-Japan1-PS-V" from the Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts\Reqrd folder. All affected applications should function properly now.

Replacement Cmap files are now available at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/8702.htm.

  • Edge Animate constantly lagging but the other Adobe applications are not

This is the same problem as in the post : http://forums.adobe.com/message/5740804#5740804
But the only difference is that one is resolved but mine cannot be with the solution described. The solution to the edge animate lagging, as in the above post, is within the proxy server settings. But after talking to my ISP. I found out that the internet service they are provinding doesn't work on proxy servers. They said if i put any proxy server value then the internet will stop working. So, i cannot apply the solution described in the above post. I have tried restoring the preferences to default. Nothing works. So, what do i do now?
I am using Windows 8 Pro (64 Bit).

I am having another problem. I think it may have some connections.
