after the installation of Oracle9iLite (Download of 5.0.2.) I tried to test the product. In the documentation "Developer's Guide for Windows CE" in chapter 'Building Offline Mobile Applications for
Windows CE: a Tutorial' I found a tip where these tutorial-files are usually located:
<ORACLE_HOME>\mobile\sdk\wince\samples\tutorial\Transport
But I don't find the directory "tutorial" in the "samples"-folder. Could anyone send me these files to "[email protected]".

Are the muse files for the "zipline travel website" from the tutorial available for download? I'd love to dissect them to study how parallax scrolling works.

I have seen tutorials on making saturation mask and actions for creating saturatyion mask but I have never seen anything about a saturation mask plug-in....

Missing install.app file for CS6 Design Standard Student version for Windows/Mac

My version is labeled Windows/Mac but there is no install.app file on the disk. Where can I obtain it?

Adobe loves confusing people with their marketing copy. Without trying, they often obfuscate the simplest of processes with poor wording.
The platform swap process only applies to perpetually licensed versions since they're tied to platform specific serial numbers: Mac or Windows, never both ( applies to CS6 and lower). Not CC which is licensed for both Mac and/or Windows via your Adobe ID, so there's no platform swapping necessary.
What Adobe is trying to say is that you can only swap platforms for the most current perpetually licensed version.
e.g. CS6 Windows can be transferred to CS6 Mac.
However, CS5 Windows cannot be transferred to CS5 Mac. You must pay the upgrade cost from CS5 to CS6 and swap platforms at the same time (that's a crossgrade). e.g. CS5 Windows to CS6 Mac is OK.
Photoshop CC is entirely different. It is available to anyone but only via subscription, even without ever previously owning any Adobe software. There's no upgrading or crossgrading. You simply join up - but keep in mind that you never own the software.
You don't need CS5 or CS6 to start subscribing to Photoshop CC. There's no connection with your CS5 license other than you can use your CS5 license to get a discounted rate for the first 12 months of CC membership.

How can I stop MS Word from automatically trying to open help and tutorial files in CS6 apps?

I recently purchased a Creative Cloud subscription and downloaded the CS6 apps. Whenever I click a link to a tutorial or .pdf help file from any of myapps, MS Word automatically activates and attempts to open the file. Because of this, I cannot activate the tutorials. How do I correct this software conflict?

Where can I download the installation files for CS6?

My CS6 is not on my computer. I installed Lightroom at the same time. I have the product code and serial # but can't find the disk. How can I get another disk or upload the program?

if you have a download problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that's (a restrictive browser setting) another potential source of problems.

Where is the 'Goodies' Folder for CS6?

Doing a fresh install of CS6 Extended on a new computer (Windows 7). In an earlier version of PS there was a folder called Goodies and it contained the HSB/HSL filter. When I upgraded from those previous versions the plugins and filters migrated automatically or I simply copied from the Plugins>Filters folder of the old version to the new. Looking at the extracted files for CS6, I'm not seeing the 'Goodies' folder. Further, when I look in c>Program Files>Adobe>CS6>Plugins, there's no Filters folder, just a Panels folder.

We no longer distribute or include a 'Goodies' folder on disk. For the HSB/HSL filter, you'll want to grab the 'OptionalMultiPlugin' plug-in, which bundles of a couple plug-ins. Also the shipping plug-ins have been moved from the directory you might expect to find them. Any additional 3rd party plug-in or optional plug-in can still be installed to these path without needing to add /Filters:
Windows 7 and Vista (32 bit): Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Plug-ins folder
Windows 7 and Vista (64 bit): Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 bit)/Plug-ins folder

How to edit a CS5 photoshop ext in configurator for CS6

I am very new to ext manager and to configurator.
I have a "homemade" ext panel, done for CS5. It is shown in both EXT MGR for CS5 and for EXT MGR for CS6. The panel is active in both CS5 and CS6.
I would like to change it so that the panel picks up the user interface that I use with CS6. As of now the panel has a bright white background which I find distracting.
I cannot find a way to edit any extension in CONFIGURATOR 3.1.1, Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place for the wrong thing.
Any advice, particular about opening an existing panel created in configurator (by a friend) and changing it somewhat.

Configurator cannot edit the exported extension. If you have the source file of the panel created by Configurator 2, it is a file with extension "gpc", you can open this gpc file with Configurator 3 and upgradge the gpc file for CS6.

JHeadstart 11G tutorial files

I want to start with the tutorial of Jheadstart 11G to get familiar with JHeadstart.
In the tutorial you need some tutorial files. This stands under chapter 2.1 in the tutorial. In this chapter there is reference to point 2:

This link doesn't work. Where can I get the source-files to start with the JHeadstart tutorial?

How do I save an install file for Photoshop CS6

I need to get an install file for Photoshop CS6 (not CR) that I can use on a Windows PC that, due to security reasons, does
not have access to the internet. In the past I have been able to save the install file for Photoshop and/or Lightroom on my internet connected PC and then move it to the the target PC on a thumb drive or CD. But now with the CC and the new "Adobe Installer" I can't seem to see how to capture the install file.
Please let me know how to do this.

I got the photos moved fine and I followed an online tutorial to move the necessary files for itunes, but it didn't work. The files copied fine, but when I tell iTunes on the Air to look at the external drive for the library, it doesn't find anything. What I copied was the entire iTunes Media folder. So, how do I move the necessary iTunes files from my old Pro to a external drive so I can access them from my new Air? Whew!

After you move the library you need to open iTunes by first depressing the OPTION key then launching iTunes. You will be given a choice of which library to use. This can then be made a permanent change, if you wish, in the Advanced section of iTunes preferences.

No local help files for Photoshop CS6 extended

I wish to use local help files for Photoshop CS6 but only online support is available. Local files are not listed under the Adobe Help preferences. The option to search only local rather than online help is greyed out. I found and downloaded a PDF with of the help files but don't know where to install it or if this is possible. I have CS 5 Creative Suite and this works fine giving the option of local or online help when accessed.
Is there a way to install and use local help files in photoshop CS6?

Hi and thanks for directing me to that article, it should have done the trick. I am using mac mountain lion 10.8.5.
The help system has always operated oddly - I have Photoshop cs6 but also the cs5 master suite installed. CS5 works fine but Photoshop cs6 only gives the option for online help and then directs me to the CC site. There is no simple listing for just Photoshop help in the help menu - presumably as it is not seeing it installed
I tried various configurations in the article, having to set up the folders they suggested. In my case, in a variety of alternative places as I have a boot up volume with the documents folder moved onto a RAID array so the Shared folder is not in the documents folder but in Users on the boot drive. So - confusing - but tried all the likely candidates and folder configurations/locations while following the instructions as closely as possible. Even tried an documents folder alias to redirect the program to the alternative path way.
At least now I have the PDFs and can look through them outside the adobe interface. The problem with the community site being questions regarding photoshop alone, yield answers for all sort of other issues and programs.
Thanks for your help though, which should have worked, appreciated.
