Tutorial on how to use slideshow in adobe golive

hI,
I have been tearing my hair out for the last week I find it impossible to work out how to set up a slideshow in adobe golive cs - Does anybody know some simple tutorials on how to do it, as I find the online help with golive no help at all..!

Step 2:
Place the first image of the slide show sequence on the page where you want your slide show to appear. That will be the base image of the slide show.
The image needs a name so that the Javascript used for the slide show can reference it properly. This is done on the Basic tab of the Image Inspector in GoLive CS, and in the More tab of that Inspector in earlier versions. (Mouse over the link underneath the CS image shown to see the GoLive 6 Inspector.)
What are you suppose to put in the ALT TEXT AND NAME/ID
It says in the tutorial put Basic slide show in the ALT TEXT is that correct..?
and the link what are you suppose to put in the text section of the inspector
I have named my jpegs as 01.jpeg 02.jpeg and so on and put them into a folder that says canoe..
any help would be much apreciated..

The tutorial courses that got me going were on lynda.com. Both the PE and PrE courses are taught by instructors that know the software and how to teach on line.
The difference between random turtorials and a course is organization. A course has a beginning, or foundation and builds skills one at a time. Random tutorials like on Adobe TV or YouTube can be very good but they don't have the sequential skill building process.
Many of the Adobe TV tutorials are chapters provided by lynda.com as part of their marketing program. If you like them, you can pay the $25 a month for the full course work.

Use it the same way as previously.
ctrl B shows the menus.
ctrl S shows the sidebar.

I am fairly new to Dreamweaver (cs6), having previously designed and maintained a few sites using Freeway. I purchased a template from TemplateMonster.com in the hope that this would simplify the creation of a new site. The template came without any instructions other than how to unzip the file. Their helpline really isn't helpful at all. Can anyone recommend an online tutorial on how to use a predesigned template? Lynda.com doesn't have one. Thanks!

I use spry to create an autocomplete form that works great across browsers that have javascript enabled. You can store info in a database and parse the info to xml for a dynamic approach. Take a look at the filter examples in spry.

I've been making some clips anywhere from 6 seconds to 15 seconds long, and I just wanted if there are any good links on how to use iMovie 2013 version. I've looked on youtube but everything on their are old clips or small clips on how to run the program. I'm not an advanced user but i've picked up some of the basics on iMovie. How to use original preinstalled Adobe-Photoshop-elements on new notebook?

Hello everybody.
In my old TOSHIBA Satellite Pro A100-938 notebook, I've been used the above-mentioned software, licensed and pre-installed at the moment of the purchase. Now I've got a TOSHIBA PRO A300 - 28T model.
How can I do in order to transfer this software from the old notebook to the new one? Unfortunately the pre-loaded photographic correction program is not as functional as the other one.
Help and/or suggestions hereof will be highly appreciated, thanks in advance !

and as you can see the Adobe Photoshop Elements was not preinstalled by Toshiba and is not part of the image so you will need to buy the full product licence to use this software.

I need to get a really good tutorial on iTunes for Mac 12.0.1.26.
I am really hung up on being able to download artwork for 2 Albums that I have recently purchased. I have been using Macs since the 128K Classic. However I never got into using iTunes until just now with version 12.0.1.

Looking for a tutorial on how to use VI Server

Hello. Can anyone link me to a tutorial or article that covers the usage of VI Server across machines on the same network?
Also, can VI Server functionality be used inside executables created by developers suite w/o any running LabVIEW instances?

The VI server allows you to programmatically access and control VIs running in any LabVIEW instance. That instance can be the current one, another one on the same computer, on a different computer around the world or even on an RT target and working with them is the same in all cases.
It starts with calling Open App Reference, which recieves a computer name (or IP address) and a TCP port number. These determine the specific LabVIEW instance and from that point on you work on that instance using the reference you got from the function. See a simple example of connecting to a remote VI here. The same works with property and invoke nodes.
You should note that not all properties and methods work on remote instances. Each has a table in the online help with one of the lines being Available on Local LabVIEW Only. If this is true, it means that you can not use that property in a remote instance.

Tutorial Showing How to Use SQLite with Classes

I am writing a mobile app with Flex 4.5.1 and I will need to write and read to a SQLite database. The previous times I have done this in previous versions of Flex, I just put all of my database code on the same main page which wasn't the most efficient way to do it, but it worked.
I've been looking all over to find a tutorial that shows how to set the database up so that it is "called" when needed and I'm assuming it would be put in a Class for this to happen. Can anyone direct me to some examples showing how to do this?
