Tuxedo 8.1 compatiblity with Weblogic 10.3

Hi,
I want to know if Tuxedo Server/Client 8.1 is compatible with the WebLogic 10.3, Java 1.6 and JDK 6.

what technology are you using for Tuxedo or weblogic connectivity? If WTC then you can. if Jolt then you can't because tuxedo 8.1 jolt is not compatible with weblogic 10.3

One of my customer has an issue with installation of Essbase version 11.1.1.1.
In the install doc for 11.1.1.1, it says shared services required web logic server patch CR283953 for all platforms. It says you can get this patch at the BEA website. I went through bea website and found that CR283953 is fixed in Weblogic 10.0
Customer would like to know whether Version 11.1.1.1 is compatible with Weblogic 10.0 or not.

I'm sorry to say that Weblogic 10 is not one of them, which I also tried 10.3 thinking it was the "supposed" Oracle AS 10gR3, which does not seem to exist.
Currently, I'm trying a Oracle 11g Database with the Embedded Java container but the Configurator fails when registering the Shared Services.

No, it is not. Please use Weblogic 10.3.6 for SOA 11.1.1.6.0 and OSB 11.1.1.6.0

Toplink 10.1.3.1 compatible with weblogic 11g server

When deploying to weblogic 11g server using OEPE, I get the following error:

Are there compatibility issues with weblogic 11g and toplink 10.1.3.1?

The older TopLink versions were not certified on the latest WebLogic releases. Oracle TopLink 11g (11.1.1.0.0) was certified on WebLogic 10.3.0 and 11gR1 (11.1.1.1.0) was included with WebLogic 10.1.3.1 as a system module. You may be experiencing a conflict between the included TopLink libraries and the older ones you built your application against. I would recommend rebuilding your application against the TopLink libraries shipped with WLS 10.3.1 and not including the older version.
If this is not an option then you would need to use an application classpath filer to ensure the TopLink libraries in the system module of WLS 10.3.1 are not used.

Is Oracle 8.0.5 compatible with WebLogic Server 6.1 in the Solaris Environment

We're upgrading from WLS 4.5.1 to 6.1 and are having troubles getting a connection
to the database. It appears to be looking for libgen.so.1 and cannot find it.
Any answers?

My application server is weblogic 9.2. I'm currently using jrockit-R27.4.0_jdk_1.5.12 and would like to use -xgcPrio:deterministic. I just downloaded the jrrt-3.1.0-1.4.2-solaris-sparcv9.bin and installed on our solaris server. After changing the JAVA_HOME from the above jrockit jdk to jrrt-3.1.0-1.4.2. I can no longer stop the weblogic instance. Can someone please advise what I did wrong here?

WLS 9.2 requires Java 5, so you should use the JRRT download for Java 5.0, not 1.4.2.

2.If SOA suite 11g can be installed on weblogic. I understand that SOA suite 10.1.3.4 is compatible with weblogic 9.2 but need some inputs on the SOA Suite11g!

The latest version of weblogic server is 6.1 with service pack 1. This version
supports oracle 8.1.7 on major unix platforms viz., solaris(2.6,2.7,2.8),
hp-unix(11.0,11.0i), linux7.1, Aix4.3.3 and on windows platforms viz.,
NTwithsp5, 2000.
BEA jdrivers are having Multibyte character set support (UTF8).
Note : Weblogic server 5.1 with SP10 also supports oracle 8.1.7.

Is the 11.1.1.2 software compatible with BEA WebLogic 10.3?

Does anyone know, is Oracle EPM version 11.1.1.2 compatible with BEA WebLogic 10.3? I know the recommended version is 9.2 MP3 for Windows 32 bit.
Do we need to get seperate license for WebLogic or is it included in this EPM software bundle?

Not sure about the licensing, its best to ask someone at Oracle, but I believe when you when automatic deploy 11.1.1.2 apps to Oracle10gR3 Application Server, it is actually referring to the Oracle Weblogic 10.3 Application Server, not the old Oracle (OAS) 10G Application Server, so it should work. You can also deploy to Weblogic 9.2 and IBM Webshpere automatically. I believe all other application servers may still be compatible but require a manual deployment.

I was trying WL 8.1 SP4 and was trying to run some classe within a encyption security jar that requires jre1.6. So for this can I mapped it in server prop the higher version and referred it in sever config files but still I am having the same problem. JDEV upgrade no compatible with previuos version WebLogic

I've just tried to upgrade JDev since I am experiencing some errors and I got this message from the installer
** The product maintenance level of the current installer (WebLogic Server:10.3.2.0) is not compatible with the maintenance level of the product installed on
** your system (WebLogic Server:10.3.1.0) . Please obtain a compatible installer or perform maintenance on your current system to achieve the desired level.
I'm not going to upgrade all system for JDEV, any suggestion for a work around?

Set up your phone as new & do the software update. Once the update is complete, go to Settings>General>Reset and choose Erase all content and settings.
The next time around, you can restore from your backup.

I'm getting an error trying to deploy a composite. It works for everyone else on the team, and our configurations are the same (as far as we can tell). We've compared JDev version info.
Any idea what I can try? Thank you.

Is BIP ver 11.1.1.5.0 compatible with Word 2003

I am developing BI Pub forms for E1 on a E910 and tools 9.1.0.4 release. The work PC I am using for the BIP forms has Word 2003 loaded. When editing the Word rtf template the fields will flicker and it often hangs when Starting .Net runtime. If it hangs I end Word. Sometimes it hangs during the flickering issue. It is very annoying. As a work around I bring the Word and xml to my personal PC, make the changes and bring back to the work environment. This seems to be okay but is very time consuming.
I have looked for recommended tech specs as to whether Word 2003 is compatible with BIP ver 11.1.1.5.0 but I haven't found anything. Is there any documentation on this? Does any one have any suggestions as to how to solve the issue if it isn't a compatibility problem. Thanks
