Tv and movies download???
I just received a new Ipod classic as a gift. I am having a lot of trouble trying to find tv's and movies to download, and answers on how to do it when I find these...I'm in Canada...I hope this purchase wasn't a waste....help!
Sorry, but as has been said here many times already, the movie studios have not licensed Apple to sell movies outside of the US. There's nothing Apple can do unless and until they're granted the rights. When, or indeed if, this will happen, no one can say, though Apple has said that they hope to be able to offer movies internationally sometime in 2007.
As to TV shows, there have been no indications if, much less when, the show owners will ever license Apple to sell them in Canada or any country other than the US and (for some shows) the UK.
Again, sorry, but we'll all just have to wait and see. There's lots of other content, from podcasts to independent films to your own material , that you can put on your iPod, though. Plus of course.. wait for it .. music!

If you are speaking of an iTunes purchase, you will need to contact iTunes Customer Service and explain the situation. Their written policy is kinda cold, in that they say they don't issue refunds for erroneous purchases, but I have found them to be a bit more understanding and helpful than that.
Start by calling Apple at 1-800-275-2273 (if in the US) and ask to be connected to iTunes Customer Service. -
"DMG loading on iPhone" (and movie download and playing)
I want the iPhone 3g s to load DMG. Files and other drivers, really just dmg. This would make the iPhone really the best hand held devise ever although I think it is a great tool it would make it better.
Maybe there's a way to use IDisk, discover driver, or the downloader app to do so see what can happen for an updates or apps. My main goal is to download and watch movies all with my iPhone. I prefer AVI. And mpeg files.
Please please try to make this dmg loading ordeal possible

Hello.
I need help deleting videos, tv shows, and movies downloaded from itunes. I have followed the instructions to delete from the macbook, I selected the videos I wanted to delete and right clicked to delete. Nothing happens. When I double click on the video it still starts playing. I also followed the instructions to delete the videos from the iphone by swiping from left to right with nothing happening. I opened the videos on the ipad and there is no edit selection like in the instructions on the support page. Can you please tell me how to permanently remove this content so it doesn't try to copy from each device when I want to back up the Iphone and Ipad to my macbook. Thank you.Hi Shawninglewood,

Where is Movie Download Cache - Safari 2.0.1?
In Quicktime 7 there's a preference checkbox that says "Save movies in disk cache" and "Movie Download Cache Size" but I don't know where the movie download cache is in Safari 2.0.1. Can't see to find it using variants in Spotlight searches either. Anybody know where this might be?

You would have to create the ringtones.
Google will find several way to do this.
You cannot buy ready made ringtones from your computer. -

(I think the daughter got he better end of the deal!) I believe if you change the password and user id one of the devices it will stop that from occurring. But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

I have a MacAir, mid 2011 model, and want to view video on my TV. I see that I need a mini display port to Hdmi but there are many of these. What exatly do I need and how does one go about viewing a movie downloaded to the MacAir on a TV screen?

There must be a way for people who live in several countries or speak several languages to purchase music and movies in various national Apple IDs and then consolidate and listen to the media they own on just one device. How can I do that?
There must be a way to get all the music and movies into one place. Maybe on Laptop rather than iPhone or iPad. I can get one set to one ID and the other to another, then switch to the third ID since I have not changed the two in 90 days. But I would need to download all media during the time each device is on each ID. Must be possible, but I don't know how.

I recently brought a new HP laptop and downloaded iTunes 11 on it. My old laptop which is a Acer has iTunes version 10.7, I believe. I wanted to know, How can I transfer 18 movies from the old iTunes onto my new Itunes? It only shows the most recent two movies when I look at the purchases in my account. I had a lot of moves downloaded last year from the old version and would like some assistance on how to get all those movies into my iTunes 11 library. Thank you.
you should starting with copying the iTunes folder from your old laptop to the new one.
the iTunes folder is in your user profile Music folder.
it should go to the same location on the new laptop.
Provided that you have your media, music and movies in the default location, and you sign in to your apple ID and authorize your new computer (all in iTunes)
you should have all intact.

I used to be able to view all cloud and downloaded content. I no longer can.There used to be option to show items that are in the cloud in your library, but I can't find where that now is (unless it's been removed). You should be able to see what items that you can re-download via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (at the top right of that there should be a 'not on this computer' button)

A few days ago my TV show and movie displays went whacky-the shows are no longer in alpha order, there are multiple listings of the same show, the pictures are random-including album covers. I downloaded latest version & no change. Any ideas??

I think mine are all still in alphabetical order, but :
* movies I deleted from my library and told "hide this purchase in the cloud" are showing up again. If I try to play them, I get the "cannot find the file in its proper location, would you like to locate it" error message.
* for movies that have "iTunes Extras," the extras show up as a separate item, with another copy of the movie artwork. Most of these I believe I had DELETED the "iTunes Extras" anyway.
* Items are showing up multiple times.
* A few MUSIC ALBUMS are listed in my Movies section.
* Some movies (I believe ones that I deleted off my HD but are still in the cloud) are showing random album covers instead of their proper artwork.
* Just rented a movie, and it didn't show up anywhere in my library. It downloaded properly and completely, was in a suitably labeled folder in my iTunes/Media/Movies section, but didn't show up in any section of the library (or via a library search). Had to manually find it and tell it to open the file using iTunes.
Running the latest version, even checked for updates. No other changes made lately since the last round of apple software updates. This was wonky before the latest small update to iTunes - now it's even wonkier. And it is very, VERY effing annoying. -

You can't, unless you bought them from the iTunes Store on the Apple TV.
The Apple TV can receive content only, it does not sync content back, except items that you have purchased on the Apple TV. -

Subject : Slideshow looks bad

I have a project in my Final Cut just about done. I want to add my slideshow as part ofthe project and burn it to DVD. Inmy slideshow, there are some stills from the movie clips and some downloadedfrom the internet but they all look blur when playback and even worse if Iapply Ken Burn to it. The entire DVD containing Quick Time movies (Final CutExpress project) and slideshow was done in iPhoto. The Final Cut project was rendered prior to export to QT, the slideshow was sent to iDVD withoutrendering. The slideshow with most of the pictures from my still camera incombination with stills from movie clips and some downloaded from the Internet.After burning, the movie playback is perfect but the slideshow is not. The slideshow containing 3 differentkinds of pictures; those from my still camera looks OK; the stills from themovie clips and from the Internet are not. I don’t have much knowledge in this game, but I think NTSCwith frame size 720x480, and the downloaded picture Item Property shows most ofthem are between 400 to 500 x 300 to 600, may be both of them are not suitablefor TV screen while the stills from my still camera looks OK because they are2048x1536. Please enlightenme. Once again, thank you so much,I really appreciate the time you offered.
