TV auto sign-in quit working
TV auto sign-in quit working a couple of weeks ago. Now have to sign-in to Skype every time the TV is turned on. Is there a fix for this or is this a security type change that Skype has implemented. Auto sign-in works fine on computer.

Auto-lock is not working after last update
After installing the newest IOS update the auto-lock features quit working. It was set to auto-lock after 5 minuets of inactivity, I have reset that to 2 minuets and it still does not auto-lock. If I forget to manually lock it after using it my battery runs down.
About the same time that I did the IOS update I installed the Printer Pro app from the App Store. I have deleted this app from my IPAD but auto-lock still does not work.Have you tried resetting your iPad?
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).

Why did my email auto fill quit working with Yahoo mail?
This week my e-mail address auto-fill quit working with AT&T Yahoo, but still works when using the Safari browser on my Mac. Actually found 22 posts dating back to a year ago for people having the same problem, so guess this is ongoing and happening randomly. Is there a fix, or do I have to abandon Firefox and go back to using Safari?
I have this question too. My iphone 5 is new from t-mobile, and I restored it from my own backup on my factory-new laptop. I am curious who this person is, and whether my "new" iphone may actually be refurbushed?

I have 2 itunes a/cs one at work and one at home. Both computers are authorised for the 2 a/cs, but I can;t get my work a/c songs to show on my home computer, even though I sign in my work a/c, and I can't get my home songs to show up on the work computer even though I sign in my home a/c. V. frustrating!

You will have to manually copy your music. Get a pen-drive big enough to accommodate all your music. And follow these steps:
1. Create a new folder on the pen-drive.
2. Copy the music from your work computer to the folder you just created. It's in (yourhomefolder)>Music>iTunes>iTunes Media>Music if you're using a Mac, or in C:\Users\(yourusername)\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music if you're using Windows.
3. Now on your home computer quit iTunes, and copy your music from work to the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder in (yourhomefolder)>Music>iTunes>iTunes Media.
4. Start iTunes. It will automatically start to process the files and move them to the appropriate place.
Repeat these steps with your music from home on your work computer. Also I suggest to use only one iTunes account if possible.

Time Machine quit working after I downloaded and installed the latest security upgrade 10.9.2. Any suggestions?
I'm not sure this is what you want. There are a lot of repeated, multi-line patterns that I left in simply because I really don't know what I'm doing. My apologies if there is too much irrelevant information. Also, the logs did not go all the way back to when the problem started.

Safari 5.1.4 Lion auto-click no longer works for me
I have a bookmarks folder on a MacBook Pro that is set to auto-click, it launches in tabs several sites that I look at every morning.
I upgraded to 5.1.4 Lion last night, and this morning, the auto-click didn't work.
It works with Safari 5.0.5 on the same machine.
It works with Safari 5.1.3 on the same machine.

Try disabling the Lion "resume" feature...
Open System Preferences > General
Deselect: Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps
Now go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Restart your Mac for changes to take effect then try Safari.

My FaceTime seems to have quit working. I have rebooted...have turned FaceTime off and signed back in but it will not connect. It shows me connecting then it beeps and it says failed. Does anyone know why and what I can do to get it working again?
Same here. It just started after several years of working fine. I can't even connect to another computer on my own network. Apple must have done something... 40 0ther people have reported the same problem within 4 days

After Photoshop Elements quit working for the second time in three months, I uninstalled it and now cannot get it to reinstall from the disc. Nothing happens when I insert the disc. All I can do is look at the folders and files and see nothing that tells me how to start the installation. Clicking "open with Auto play" gives me irrelevant options, view photos, share, etc. I'm running Windows 8. This program has worked, although buggy, for the past year.

Dreamweaver cc will not open, msg says it has quit working
I am on windows 7 After three days of no dreamweaver I uninstalled and then reinstalled thru the creative cloud.
Unfortunately the same error message is coming up. Just says it has quit working..
I tried going to the internet options, settings, for Lan and unchecked the use proxy, and checked auto detect has has been told in here, but did not help.
after that I went to OObe file in appdaa and removed the .db file that was also told on here to be another thing to do.
IAs I am still getting same error Adobe Dreamweaver cc has quit working.
Notes: I checked other CC apps, like AI and DW CS6 and fireworks all opened in normal window as expected, so this is peculiar to Dreamweaver cc. I hope I have given enough info for some bright forumn expert to help me.
I have enjoyed the crfeative cloud, and the price is ok, but if its just going to go away and no one seems to know what to do, I am at a loss.

sorry but I really have to resist. As strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try - like you did by using Windows alone- to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. My Compaq presario CQ62 219 WM does not come on, no lights sounds nothing, the fan quit working a while back but it would auto shut down at 92 deg. occasionally, so it didn't run hot very often at all. Then one day the screen just went black with a cursor at the top left corner and wouldn't do anything, wouldn't let me turn it off or on, nothing at all and I had to let the battery die and now it don't do anything. The power cord works fine for another HP laptop I have, I have switched the hard drive and ram sticks and it didn't change anything, not even the power light that is supposed to be on at all times when the cord is plugged in don't come on... any help please? I have too much tied up into this notebook wih programs and such to lose it all, just to name a couple I have adobe creative suite 5, microsoft office pro, and others (I need these programs for my college classes ASAP I can not afford to re-buy the programs). I mean really the battery went out on it just 10 days before the initial 1 year waranty ran out luckily and then 10 days after it ran out of waranty the fan went out.. I am not so worried about having to replace the fan it is rather cheap on Ebayonly like 9.49 I believe it was, and not to mention other than it breaking down on me just as the waranty went I really liked this notebook as it was plenty fast enough and worked well with my assignments for college and such as well as all the other gaming and hobbies I have on the notebook.. I had planned to buy upgrades from tthis site and build it up some as I'll be needing a bigger one once I graduate and start using it for my carreer (bachelors in technoligy in web design and I plan to add to that with a few other associates and such to exspand my opertunities for a while all in computer/internet/graphics/gaming areas of study). I built my first desktop PC from several PC's each having something wrong with them I bought them cheap and combind them into a somewhat super computer (at least for a 15 year old it was nice PC to get started with), I never was tought anything to do it I just read up n studied a lil online and hammer down self taught Thanks in advance

I would first try a hard reset to see if it bring the computer back to life.
To Perform A Hard Reset
Shut down the computer by going to the Start menu and selecting shut down. (If you have no display, hold the power button down for 5 seconds)
Disconnect the AC Adapter from the notebook.
Remove the battery from the bottom of the notebook. There will be a switch/button to eject the battery.
Wait at least 1 minute with all power sources disconnected.
Re-insert the battery and reconnect the AC Adapter and then attempt to power on the notebook.
This will completely remove all power from the computer and then reintroduce the power, which sometimes resolves these types of issues. Are you about to see the power on screen or get into the BIOS when you turn it on?

Dock Auto-Hiding always stops working
This has become very frequent. I do not know if it is conflicting with something else I have done similar to the Stuffit bug (when stuffit crashes finder on a right click every 5 clicks or so) .
My dock just simply will not re-appear. I normally go to Utilities, Activity Monitor then quit the dock process which will reload it.
Does anyone know why my dock stops working properly so often? Anyone else have a similar issue with the dock auto-hide feature stops working (it simply does not reappear on mouse over).
I use an external dell monitor, a wacom intuos 3 6x11 tablet and an e-sata express card if those addons could attribute to the problem.

Touchscreen quit working on P55t-A5202 after Windows 8.1 update
I updated to Windows 8.1 and my touchscreen quit working. I have avoided all updates on Toshiba, but have just installed 7 of them including bios update hoping to fix the problem. No help! Still no touch screen. Went to help forum...told to uninstall the human interface device drives on my laptop and reload them. Did that to NO avail..still doesn't work! HELP! Was hoping Windows 10 would auto fix but I truly doubt it!!! Can anyone help me please?

Firefox quit working, reinstalled several times, only get spinning "connecting" word on tab.

My westel modem (that I rent from my phone provider) quit working with the internet. My airport extreme seems to be working from the dsl (phone) connection through the westel, then through the ethernet cabled to the airport extreme. Do I need the modem? Is the ethernet route less efficent that going throught the internet connection? If I don't need the westel modem; how do I make the dsl conection to the pone port in the wall? Ok, so are you saying that your Internet is or isn't working? Does it work if you plug your computer directly into your computer and bypass the router (make sure you power cycle the modem when you do this)? If it is working this way, then a new modem isn't going to solve a problem with your Internet not working. If it is going slow (try running a speedtest) then you need to call your phone company to have them take a look at why your Internet is slow. If it runs fine this way and then slows back down when you go back through your router there is something else going on. Try unplugging both the modem and the router, let the modem fully sign back in and connect to the Internet, after it gets signed in, plug your router in, and then after it boots up fully, try running the speedtest again...See if that helps any? Sometimes it's just an IP conflict that happens when the dynamic IP that is assigned by your Internet Service Provider changes and the change doesn't flow smoothly.
