TV listing search no longer working correctly

Has anyone else noticed that the TV listing search doesn't work correctly? For example, if I'm looking for a football game with a team I want to watch (e.g. Penn State), no matches come up. The only way to find the game is to look for "College Football" and then read the descriptions for each game.
Very annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I have found the exact issue you have stated regarding the Penn State games. Try searching for Nittany for the search word instead of Penn State - this has worked for me.
I agree there are many weaknesses in the FiOS search algorithm including not listing the HD version during search

Filter list no longer works correctly in 4.6

I have been using the classic filter function for array collections since 4.0. With the recent 4.6 update my filter no longer works correctly.
Example of classic realtime filter:

While the filter works and updates the list just like it used to, the underlying arraycollection doesn't get updated.

So its like there are two lists.
1. filteredlist (auto generated)
2. list with mydata before filter.
The IndexChangeEvent is giving me the selectedindex of the filtered list (item 0) but resolving item 0 with the unfiltered list and the data does not match up.
Now I can no longer get the correct name of the list after applying the fiilter.
Is this a bug that was introduced in Flex 4.6?

galleherjazz, a little research would tell you a lot. Palm sold the rights to Palm Desktop years ago to a company called "Access" from Japan. It was their responsibility to come up with a version of Palm Desktop that works with Vista. They produced one version, then updated it to 6.2.2 to fix some bugs. After that, they abandoned the project! Palm Inc. moved on to a wholly new operating system (webOS).
"Palm programmers" had nothing to do with the decisions made. Access' version came with no color categorization. Pleas for improvements and bug fixes have fallen on deaf ears.
Palm Inc. appears to have no interest in supporting Windows 7 with their legacy (read: discontinued) devices. Any hope for 64-bit USB compatibility appears to be gone.

Since updating to 10.7.4 the 'search' no longer works in Address Book.

Search no longer works in Address Book since I updated the MAC software to 10.7.4.

I'm having the same problem. In addition, not only would the Search feature not work, but while in a view with list on left, card on right, clicking on a contact in the list would not bring up that contact's card on the right. Double clicking on the contact in the list, however, would bring up the card in a separate window.
First, I exported my Address book and saved the Archive to my desktop (Address Book - 07-25-2012.abbu). I then went to the iCloud System Preferences and deselected Address Book, then re-selected it. The test revealed the problem was still there. I then deleted all my cards (I didn't know how to do this except to drag down through all the contacts on the list on the left and hit delete) and the Contacts list was then empty.
I tried File>Import, chose my backup file, and the list of contacts returned, but not the contact cards. Still couldn't search either.
I quit Address Book and from the Go menu in the Finder, selected Go To Folder and pasted in ~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook. This is what I got:
Because the next instruction was Restore the folder that opens from the backup you made before you started, and because no folder opened, I didn't know what to do.
So I went to my desktop, double clicked on the backup file, and got this:
I chose Replace All, and the Contacts List reappeared, but there were still no cards, and Search still didn't work.
So, I think I tried all your suggestions, but I'm back at square one. If you have any other work arounds I would appreciate help in solving this problem.

ITunes 10.1 - Shuffle function no longer works correctly

The shuffle function on playlists no longer works correctly since the most recent iTunes update.
It will periodically stop playing without playing the entire playlist. It is a real hassle and kills the mood as you have to go back to the Mac and click play again. Please fix this issue as it is a very basic function.

Can somebody tell me why my reminders no longer work correctly on 7.1 update on iPhone five every time I post a reminder it would delete the time and date of the reminder and my reminders do not go off.

Remove Office 2008 for Mac using Microsoft deinstall procedure. Reinstall Office 2008 for Mac. If there are updates, apply them. Using Disk Utility, verify/repair permissions on your boot drive.
Does Office for Mac 2008 now work correctly? If not, you may want to repeat the above first sentence, and then update to Office for Mac 2011, and apply the latest (14.4.8) update which has Yosemite fixes.

Upgraded from RH9 to RH11 Search No Longer Working

Situation:
               Upgraded several projects from RH9 to RH11
               WebHelp Pro Output
               RoboHelp Server 9
Search no longer works for upgraded RH11 projects. No matter the topic or keyword entered, results are zero.
Search works on RH9 projects.
I looked through forums for similar situations, I didn't find any for RH11. Some solutions for RH10 said to verify the whfts file included all the xml packages and the RH11 output does. Others had to do with settings in WebHelp but couldn't find anything specific to WebHelp Pro.
Any ideas?

Update...it seems the fact that I am publishing to RH Server 9 is the problem. I received word from Adobe tech support:
"We have fixed that issue and soon we are releasing the patch for RHS 9 to support RH 11."
The expected patch is expected to be delivered by end of March 2014.

Facebook no longer works correctly on my iPad. If a post has a video attached, safari automatically brings up the video. I have deleted the app facebook and re-added. Still having the issue.

It appears to be a bug with (I assume) Facebook's servers - other people are having the same problem, me included, with the app switching into YouTube in Safari and showing the last video that was posted on the wall. Until Facebook (if it is their bug) fix it, then there is not much that you can do, apart from possibly accessing Facebook via Safari on your iPad and/or on your computer instead. The problem has also been reported on Facebook's help site as well - it may be related to their new 'timeline' feature or the new iPad that they are rumoured to be announcing soon

Search do not work correctly!?

Hi! I I am using Search Criteria to search for data in DB. But Search do not work correctly.
When I search using "Search in all fields:" then I can get needed info. But when I add some attributes and try to search then I get wrong results, see Search form: http://my.jetscreenshot.com/2677/20120820-stms-117kb
I want that, if I add attributes "Type of Genetic Resource" and "Regional Forest District" and enter data, then my search form searches for results that is combinated from these 2 added fields.

In Search Criteria I use Conjunction OR, I I change it to AND then above example works fine when I add 2 fields in advanced search, but then search using "Search in all fields:" DON'T work.
Can anyone say where I am wrong, what I need to add or change in my Search criteria, so that all will work?

Then when I enter data in SearchAllFields it finds nothing...
SearchAllFields means that I search in all attributes for given value and show results.

How do You think, this is good solution? And maybe You know how to localize Match all or Match Any option?

MM Director w/QuickTime 7 no longer works correctly

I updated my PC to QT 7.0.3 and now I have a number of MM Director apps which no longer work correctly. These apps have worked for over 5 years with QT3 - QT6, but not now.
The straingt QT movies play okay, but the MM Dir apps no longer seem to be able to control the QTVR movies, e.g. spin, zoom, etc.
Anyone else seen this?

Apparently, this is a known issue (with QuickTime VR hotspots etc) at Adobe / Macromedia. It was noted in November 2005.

This is a disaster for one of our main products !

I recently downloaded 6.1.2 and am regretting it...for one reason...the search function no longer works correctly. !!

I personally and professionally rely on text messaging extensively. Since upgrade, the search function doesn't work correctly. It only returns partial results. This has never happened with previous upgrades. All the old texts are there but it does not search the entire history. If i compose new text and duplicate the recipients from an old text, it will bring up string...just cant search for it. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE.

Our menu bar no longer works correctly. The flyouts only show the first menu option and none of the drop-down menu options.

In previous versions of Mozilla we had drop-down menus that contained flyouts that offered more drop-down options. This no longer works in Mozilla 4. If you look at our website in IE7, 8 or 9 and Mozilla 4.0.2 they now work differently. (www.saskschoolboards.ca) Eg. Under About Us / Committees there should be three more dropdowns on a flyout - Committee List; MEPP Report and Semi-Annual Report form. Mozilla 4.0 only shows Committee List and no other drops downs. All of our flyouts are showing only the first selection and nothing else.
Other affected menus dropdowns are:
Board Dev / Trustee Development (there should be 4 dropdowns - not just one)
Communications has Surveys and Elections
Why is Mozilla not showing our menus correctly anymore?

It looks that the mootools script is no longer compatible with Firefox 4. 
Google Chrome behaves the same and also doesn't open the sub-menus properly and keep the first entry on display once it is open.
Did you check if there is an update for that script?

I updated to Firefox 3.6.8 and now I get an anycolor start page that keeps popping up and my google toolbar search no longer works.

Ever since updating to 3.6.8 I open firefox and get two tabs. One for my homepage and one which is an "Anycolor start page". Hugely annoying and can't stop the 2nd tab from popping up every time I start Firefox. Also my google toolbar search function no longer works. Type in a search and hit enter and nothing happens.

I have exactly the same problem. I entered Firefox in safe mode and deleted AnyColor from my addons. But now when I click on the addon button this is what I get:

Sites using TALEO for job searches no longer works in 19, worked in last official 18 release

Company websites which use the TALEO job search/apply app/site, no longer work right in 19, they worked fine in 18.xx. Specially, the job search function does not work right when entering the TALEO job search parameters then hitting SEARCH FOR JOB does nothing. AN example site (which does not require registration) is https://nielsen.taleo.net/careersection/3/jobsearch.ftl?lang=en. If I make selections for JOB FIELD and/or LOCATIOn then hit SEARCH FOR JOB, nothing happends. Sites using TALEO worked fine in the last offical 18.x release. TALEO worksd fine in IE 7&Chrome 25.
Clearing the cache does not change behavior. Finally did a full FF reset--no change.

I am running Firefox version 19.0.2 and I have the same problem. I am able to filter using Internet Explorer which I really don't like. Rather than users having to figure out why this isn't working either Taleo needs to fix their scripts or a fix needs to happen in Firefox.

Audio preview no longer works correctly since AE-CC update

Hi everyone.
Since updating AE CC a couple of days ago (now on 12.1.0.168) on OSX 10.8.5, 2.7GHz i7 16GB RAM, the audio and RAM preview no longer functions correctly.
The steps I follow are:
Open AE
Open project
Press . to preview audio from where I am on the timeline, OR RAM preview workspace
What happens is my cursor turns into the wheel of doom for a about 20 seconds, then the playback begins but the audio is sped up which is wrong. Video is correct speed.
If I stop the audio or RAM preview, then preview again, everything is fine and plays instantly. If a RAM preview loops, then the audio reverts to normal speed.
I can open up any and all of my different project files and audio previews perfectly and instantly as it should. It's just the first time I press the . key on a freshly opened instance of AE that I get this problem.
I've tried restarting my mac to no avail, and also changing the pref settings away from what the settings have always been and that doesn't work either. I've even trashed my prefs and that also doesn't work.
I work exclusively at 25fps. Frame rate for RAM preview is set to auto (25) and changing this from auto to 25 doesn't work.
Memory settings are default since trashing my prefs, 16GB installed, 4GB for other apps, no checked boxes are ticked.
Any ideas on what has happened please?
