TV@nywhere MS-8876 (Image always BLACK)

Hi, my TV@nywhere MS-8876 isn't working!
I've no problem installing drivers, everything works fine during instalation.
The problem is with the TV image, it's alwaws BLACK.
I can hear the sound of the channels but no image. ?(
My country is portugal. The TV Tunner has the right settings (those related with country and TV system), detected by de TV Tunner program.
I'm running a AMD 2.4 Gb, 512 MB, MSI GForce TI4200 128 Mb.
I bought the TV Tunner a week ago.
Please, can anyone help me?

If you are running WinXP it should not matter which slot you put it in as long as it is not Slot 1. WinME,98, 2000 etc may be fussy as to which exact slot the card will work in. The black screen is the sign of a IRQ conflict and if that is the case moving the card should cure the problem.

Or you could select the embedded image, and open the Window>Document Info panel. Select Embedded Images from the fly out menu on the Document Info panel. This should give you the color mode and more info on the embedded file in question.

In the library we can change the order of classification of image by, time of capture, name of file etc... I'm wondering if its possible define to be always by the name of file.
It ´s possible?
And i have other question, in print label we have an option to auto rotate to feet in page to have the image using the maximum area in the page (auto rotate, zoom etc), its possible to change the orientation of the rotation to be always in the other direction?

The Muvos are USB Mass Storage devices and do not have the ability to display track information based upon ID3 tags.
The Zens all read and display track info based upon ID3 tag information that is either gathered from an online source or entered by the end-user.
If you want the track information displayed instead of the ID3 tag information, you could edit the ID3 tags and rename the title to whatever you have as the file name. Not sure why your file names would differ so much from the ID3 tag info though, almost all of my content has the same name for the filename as it does on the ID3 tag title.

Entire image turns black when using the type tool in Photoshop CC

When I create a text layer, the whole image turns black. If I enter the text blindly, I will see the expected results when I finish and click on another tool. If I try to edit the text layer, everything turns black again. I am not using the type mask tool. I can select and move the layer and I can blend the layer; I just can't see what I am typing.

I had the same problem and the update of the video card driver did not help - only after changing the settings in photoshop under "Preferences >> Performance >> Advanced settings >> Basic" the problem was solved

LR2 images opening black in PS4

When using the "edit in PS4" option in LR2, the images are black when opening in PS4. The image is shown correctly in the PS navigator however. I assume I have something setup incorrectly. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Are you referring to Photoshop 11 (CS4)? Or to Photoshop

I have been playing duo and montotone images into indesing with no trouble. Then all of a sudden as I placew them they go black and whitre. I have tried everything from re saving, re making in photoshop and differant colours et5c. But nothing seems to wrok. The images already in my document arew fine it is just new ones. If someone could help that would be great

Can you start a new document and then load one of the duotones known to be good in the working file and have it correct? If so, try one of the duotones known to be bad in the working document in the new file. Does it work?
If no to either suggestion, can you share one of the images known to be good and one known to be bad? ZIP 'em up and upload to dropbox and plop a link here. Or, to keep the file sizes down, you can quickly make a new set and provide those.
As well, the ID version and OS info would probably be helpful.

Attached is screen shot. What happens is I go to File/Automate/Merge to HDR Pro, then select my 3 images, which are flattened psd files (I have tried tifs and jogs too), hit OK, it processes them, but instead of the image appearing, I get this black image. Sometimes After straightening and cropping 1/2 or 3/4 of the displayed image (from a Nikon RAW image) is blacked out! I am using version 2.1 of aperture. Apparently the file is fine and is straightened and cropped (I can see the full picture cropped and straightened in the browser), but the display isn't working when I double-click to open that picture. Frustrating. Any ideas/fixes? I have 2GB of RAM so memory shouldn't be a problem.

I know that you know this but straitening and cropping are supposed to black out the parts of your image that are cut off by the very nature of those operations. Assuming you are not really asking "hey why do the straiten and crop tools work like they are supposed to", some screen shots of what you are talking about would help get your question answered properly.

Cropping bug: part of image goes black

A strange problem which cropped up after installing 3.2, and remains after re-installing 3.2.
When I go to crop a vertical image, the top 1/3 of the image goes black. I can still select what I want (guessing for the border in the black part) and, when I complete the crop, I get the whole image I want, with no black.
Interestingly, if I rotate the vertical to horizontal, I can crop with no black part. So I can use that to crop, and then rotate back to vertical. But there's clearly a bug here.
Any suggestions?

You are probably experiencing the crop and or onscreen proofing bug that was introduced with AP 3.2 update. It is summarized well in the posts on this page:

We need to wait for Apple to fix this one (or you can look at some of the other posts in this forum for reverting back to 3.1.3 until the fix is issued).

Images go black once web page has loaded

I use my blackberry to look at the BBC weather pages. When the page loads the images load and can be seen but once the page has finished loading all of the images go black. Any ideas.

When working in photoshop the canvas/image turns black

when working in photoshop the canvas/image turns black - not allowing me to view the materials. what is causing this? how can it be fixed? very frustrating when working on a file and all of a sudden it's no longer visible.

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

Auto contrast, Auto levels. image turns black

CS3 on macbook pro.
I know I should use other methods for levels and contrast but I have come across a strange problem. If I select auto contrast or auto levels the image turns black? Is there something that I have set in preferences incorrectly? How can I resolve this problem.

Help! Image Capture scanning detected images solid black! Screen cap inside.

I know this is not a forum for Image Capture, but there is no dedicated forum for it, and I figure there are smarter people here with regards to images.
Image Capture is scanning ~some~ detected images solid black. It presents an overview scan just fine, but than the final files are black.
Here is a screen capture:

iPhoto earlier than iPhoto 9 (11) does not support Grayscale because it adds a color profile name Dot Gain 20%. This profile is not compatible with iPhoto. You can either rescan those photos as color photos or change the profile to sRGB or RGB.
I've created an Automator workflow application, Convert to JPG and Embed sRGB profile, that will convert B/W files to a jpg file with the sRGB profile. However, is doing so it adds an additional jpeg compression level to the file resulting is a smaller file size but not a smaller image size. You can download it from Toad's Cellar.
The conversion will have to be done on the photos outside of iPhoto before they are imported. So you will have to export the original files to a folder on the Desktop, run the application on them and then reimport the new files.

Cannot deselect images ,always selects 2 images so settings are always on sync. tried control D

This has happened to me too. I had to quit the lightroom application and restart it to fix this problem.
