TV out card supplier in UK?

I want to watch the odd avi from my K7N420 on my TV. The only supplier I have found wants £15 for the card (OK) and nearly £6 for postage. Any better deals around?

I looked in the My Orders section of my Verizon account this morning (12/22), My SG iPhone 6+ 1228GB is now listed under my Recent Orders and my card was charged yesterday, So I am thinking it will ship Monday morning. This is how the process went for my wife's S 64GB 6+ two weeks ago. This is an interesting turn of events since I was also one to receive the email on Thursday about it being pushed back to 12/12 I'll keep you all posted.

Mega 651 TV-Out card problem

Hi freakz,
i have a Mega 651 with the original MSI TV-OUT card, but I don´t get any picture onto my TV.
I´ve already reinstalled the diasplay drivers. In windows I can´t find any configuration for the TV-out.
In the bios I´ve tested all settings.
My TV is switched on, so the card should recognize it.
Does anybody have the same card working? When does the picture appear on the TV screen? at the bios booting or at the Windows screen?
Which resolutions should I choose? I´ve tried 800x600 and 1024&768. Nothing.
Perhaps the card is broken, but first I will try everything so I can get shure.
Please... Can anybody help me with my problem or give me tips?

first of all, be sure I have tried everything, other cables (even shorter ones), ....
It´s the add on card for the Mega 651 which has a composite and a S-video plug.
I work with the chinch composite output.
In the bios I can choose between TV, CRT, or both.
Even if I only connect the TV, nothing appears on it.
Should I see the POST screen on the TV, or first when the display driver has been initialised?

MS 6957 TV Out card

Hi,
I made a mistake of buying this card MS-6957 TV-Out card. I didn't receive a driver CD or disk and I could not find anything about this card or driver.
I installed this card on AGP slot. My XP machine didn't find it's presence. I just gone nuts , searching driver for thid card all over the Internet.
Is anybody know about this card drivers?

Thanks for the reply. I know there is a manual available and that's not doing any help. I found out in a hard way that, it's only supports SIS 650 motherboard ONLY. Which is not mentioned in any selling web sites and MSI web site.
I thought in a straight sense that it will work for any computer. But, it is not. It seems it's a cheating customers by not providing enough information about this card.
I have a MSI based (Athlon XP) mother board, but NOT SIS 650. I am pissed off with this board. I am off to buy something else.
Ohh! I didn't mention about their support on web site. I had to provide what motherboard, speed, chipset, bla, bla...bla....and bla.. to find out "Is there software driver available for MS 6957?" I am not up to bitching about money that I wasted on this motherboard, but the TIME is spent to find out it's a waste card for me.

PRoblem w/ MSI MEGA TV OUT-CARD

Msi 865 Tv Out not working
i just got the msi mega TV out card for my Mega 865 today, i installed it.
Plugged in an AV cable, connected it to the TV and NOTHING!!!
Has anyone else installed one , if so when you installed it did windows recognize it as new hardware ?, because mine did not,and i found that odd.it should recognize it as new hardware right ?. I dont know if the TV out Card is faulty or if something esle is wrong ???? suggestions pls

The VGA drivers for the intel extreme G2 that came with the msi 865. "intel 845G/865G VGA DRIVER" are installed.
i'm running xp pro.
where do i find the driver properties, you mean the extremeG2 properties right ?>in the device section it only shows monitor . i do not see any option for tV
i went to intel 82865g graphic controller prop. > i checked devices , and i went to drivers, all installed but i see no TV option ??? would it be an Icon >>>>

i havent used it my self.. but been told it looks just as good as any.. it has Svideo and RCA out.
IMHO TV's look bad.. since thay are so low rez.
if you'v ever used TVout you know what i mean.
it should be the same quality as a AGP geforce 2 with TVout..

in germany all old nforce1 boards and components are out of sale.
try to get a card from ebay for example. or buy an cheap GF4 MX 440 with TV-Out for 45€.

Asus has no optional Tv-out card or sth like that.(I'm using the ob GF2MX)

Hi...I did a little price search on internet before, for msi`s tv-out card...Its even selling with a price of 22$ in usa...So Turkey`s price is good....But I dont have any idea about it works in asus boards or not....But My friend bought the addon card for his msi board and It doesnt have any markings like it only works in msi boards n its manual....I think ıt should be work on other nforce boards....Just a reminder...He is unhappy with the tv-out adon card...because somehow detonators detect it but doesnt lets you play with tv-out settings in advance display settings section....You got tv-out screen , nothing more....No output on start-up the computer(Post section)....Only with windows....You need programs like tv tool for tweak its settings...

MSI Mega 865 TV-out card

I am ordering an MSI 865 Deluxe this week and will use it with my TV. Unfortunately I have been told that the MSI Mega TV-out card will not be available in our country.
Does anyone know or use other brands of PCI TV-out cards with their Mega PC?

More reasons for this are no drivers and Macrovision will work. If you use a gforce and try using the TV out most DVD playing software will stop, this will not happen with a conveter.
The Graphics are not the quickest on the 865 but tend to do the job.

Tv-out card

anyone know how to get this thing to work? It doesn't seem to work on my computer. Am I missing a driver?

You go to devices in advanced settings and select TV
It doesn't work unless your TV is actually connected to the card. Then *poof* your monitor display disappears and you are craning your neck to the TV,. in my case, 15 feet away, to move the mouse to close the dialog boxes and get media player or whatever fired up. (I've learnt the jeystrokes for Media Player.)
Then when you're finished the easiest thing is to close down using the jeyboard - not easy - yank out the SVGA or composite cable from the telly and reboot. Your monitor comes back to life!
It's not the best of solutions....... )

Dual ADC AGP card supplier?

I'm trying to assist a user who is looking to replace a dead dual ADC graphics card (RADEON blah blah) in one of the first PowerMac G5s. Can someone recommend a suitable dual ADC card and UK supplier? [Cheers]
I seem to recall that you have to be careful when sourcing AGP cards in Macs i.e. you need to get the 'Mac Edition' in the case of ATI, but am not sure about Nvidia etc. Am I barking up the wrong tree thinking that the cards in question have extra pins (for power)?

Installation of third party PXI Card supplied by Chroma

The problem is that I get the initialization error while I install the PXI-52911
The installation process done during installation is as follows.
1 I have installed LAB View 6.1 in the PXI Controller without the PXI 52911card
The NI Daq version is NI DAQ � 6.9.2f4,
The NI VISA 2.6.0
IVI Engine 1.83 version.
2 After installing the Lab view software I have installed the Latest driver software downloaded from FTP site.
3 Then I have installed the PXI Card and it got detected in the system.
4. When I checked in the NI VISA the details were as shown below.
5. After checking this I tried in the software Given by the supplier . I get an error as displayed below.

Thank you for contacting National Instruments. It sounds to me like there are three possible problems.
First, it is possible that there is a configuration problem with VISA. According to Chroma's webpage, this device does use NI-VISA. If this is true, the device should be listed in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) under PXI System when it is properly installed and configured. If this device is not listed in MAX, then we need to make sure VISA is configured to recognize your device. In MAX, select the Tools menu, and select NI-VISA, VISA Options. Select VISA Passports, and make sure there is a checkmark next to "nivipxi.dll - VISA library passport for PXI." Now, select VISA settings and make sure the option to "Show all PXI/PCI Devices
accessible to VISA" is enabled.
Second, it is possible that NI-VISA or the software for your PXI card is corrupt. I suggest you uninstall your PXI device, NI-VISA, and the software for your PXI device. Once your system is clean, I recommend you reinstall NI-VISA, NI-IVI, and the instrument drivers for your PXI device. Once all of the software is installed, then you can reinstall the hardware.
I hope that helps. If that does not solve your problem, I will try to help you as much as I can, but it may be necessary to contact Chroma.
