I've been downloading particular series episodes each week. However, the latest episode isn't available (it is available on Amazon). How do I find out about this episode?

Apple TV - No Sound on Recent TV Series Purchases

I am experiencing a weird problem. I have sound problem only on the recent TV Series purchases. The video plays but there is no sound. Previous purchases work perfectly, music plays without a problem. There is no problem with the connections. The same videos run perfectly fine on my laptop. Does anyone have an idea how to deal with this problem.

TV series purchase issue

Hi,
I purchased 'Celebrity Juice' series 10, but can only download eps 1-4. 5 onwards state I need to purchase.
Support tell me I only purchased eps 1-4. However if this was the case why does the series purchase button state "purchase", and I have no option to "complete series"...?
The only reason I purchased was because it said "series for £6..."
Any help would be great!

Are the other episodes available in your country yet ? If it's a new series and the episodes haven't aired yet then they may not be in the store.
If they are then try the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option to see if that downloads them, or see if they show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes for downloading (TV programmes won't show there in all countries).

Yes, they can. You can view them either through Home Sharing via your iTunes library or you can stream them from the iTunes Store buttons on the ATV home menu (Movies, TV Shows).

HT204074 Watching a TV series, purchasing them one Ep at a time. Anyway after watching Ep3 I purchased Ep 4 but got a call so my laptop i went into sleep mode. Just came back n now it says that 90 days

'You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 67 days.'
What is this? It's the most frustrating thing, and I just wnt to scream 'I DIDN'T'. 23 days ago I did because I was unaware of the new 90 day rule.
But this time, i didn't do anything. I was watching a TV series, and I was purchasing the episodes one at a time (in hopes that this would encourage me to stop and go to sleep after i finished the next one). Anyway I had just finished watching episode 3 and purchased 4 and it had begun to download, when I left my laptop to go get something to eat came back n it had obviously gone into sleep mode. so had to continue the download BUT when I try to continue the download the 'message' pops up. I haven't signed out, it's purchased under j_akale, so I don't understand.

Frist tip, after installing software updates (I assure your machine started off with 10.4.2 and when you first used it, you were promted to update to 10.4.4.), go into the utlities folder (under applications) open disk utlitity and verifity and repaire disk permissions, this will greatly boost preformace and may fix your problem. (In fact do this once a week) Go ahead and run the Techtool (Applecare hardware test CD) and check for any problems. If these come up with nothing, I'd call Applecare and tell them what is happening. Applecare will cover you at any Apple dealer and some Apple resellers as well. Going elsewhere will kill your warrenty BTW.

Howto Delete Unwanted Downloads from TV Series Purchase?

I'm wondering how to delete the extras from an iTunes purchase? I bought the full season of "Lost" but I only want the HD episode, not the regular episode, not the making of, not any of the extras. Every time I log in, iTunes automatically starts to download these other things and I stop them, delete them, but then they come back again as soon as I log in again. Help! Once I delete them, I want them gone!

The problem for me is not the files on my HD, but rather the downloading itself. I rarely have access to a high-speed connection, so I don't want to tie up my bandwidth downloading Hi-Def files.

Advice about a T series purchase

I have a T60 with a 1400x1050 IPS panel that is on its last legs -- the GPU has developed a fault, but I can still boot it up in safe mode with the backup VGA driver. I'm now shopping for replacements and am looking at T series options. My main concerns are usability issues -- display quality, keyboard -- rather than performance. Also portability is nice but not a major concern. I don't see a particular reason to want Windows 8 over 7. I'd like to get something that is good value but I'm not super price sensitive. So I've been looking mostly at the T43x series. A high res display is a must, and I've been aiming at 14", if only because 15" widescreen seems really wide, and 13" seems a bit small for a high res display.
I'm considering a T430 with the 1600x900 display but wonder how disappointed I'll be with the display. Another option would be to buy a T431s and replace the screen with the T440s IPS one if I'm not happy with it. Or I could buy a new T440s, but I'm a bit worried by complaints about the touchpad, and availability seems limited at the moment. Are there other options I should consider?

you should check out the new ClickPad for yourself. For the screen alone I would recommend the T440s over the T430, the build-quality is also better.
I can´t say I can agree with any of the negative comments here about it. After 4 months using my T440s, it is clear to me that the new solution is better than the old one. I am using the TrackPoint only with the TouchPad disabled in BIOS, so I can´t really comment how the TouchPad itself is, but it is a improvement for me over the old design, mainly because I have now much more space to click and the new integrated buttons does not wear off and get glossy over time like the old dedicated buttons. While it is not perfect (the travel could be a bit shorter and the red lines could be using a paint which a texture, so that you can feel them), it is still pretty good. The clicking sound is as loud as a normal mouse and the travel is as much as a normal keyboard key. I also have no problems with dead-spots or clicks not being registered the others mentioned here.
Every time I go back to an older ThinkPad (T420 for example) I now have problems because the buttons are soo tiny and feel very mushy, and also get glossy over time, which is really annoying.

Lost itunes series purchase after switching to US account

On my Mac Book Pro I changed itunes from Canada to US and now cannot access my itunes purchases that were NOT downloaded. Help?! Its an entire season!

Personally I wouldn't trust the store for an instant to keep your purchases for you and would immediately download upon purchase and save all copies of files plus backup. If a distributor decides to stop distribution they can do so without warning and you cannot re-download purchases.
The document I linked earlier does say, "After you change the country of your account, you won't see the items you purchased from the previous country’s store in the Purchased section." I know most people's idea of a good time does not include sitting down and reading fine print about things they have purchased but that's the way things are in the world. Basically once you change countries you no longer have access to purchases made in the previous country. This is probably because the distributors have different licensing laws for each country. Just as with Apple hardware, you can hand carry something to a different country but Apple will not deliver it across international borders.
I have not seen anybody report here they have convinced Apple to let them download purchases made in another country. You are welcome to ask them. Contact information is at the bottom of each ASC web page.

I recently moved some of my older tv series purchases to an external hard drive as my iTunes library hard drive was getting full. Now, when I connect my iPhone and iPad to iTunes, I get the message that my iphone is synced with another library! Help!

I didn't rename my iTunes library or anything. How can I sync with iTunes without erasing all my apps, app data and settings/messages etc on the iPhone/iPad?

If you moved your iTunes library by simply copying it to another drive, you may not be able to access your music even if you reconnect to that library, you may get a lot of "not found" errors because the music is not where the library thinks it should be. First thing to do is put it back where it was. Then reconnect it. Then follow the steps in this link:

I have some T.V series purchased from ITunes on my IPad and Macbook

I would like to remove from my IPad and just keep on my Macbook to save some memory on the Pad. I would then just like to download say 10 or 20 shows at a time for viewing whilst traveling. Is it possible to do this? if so how?

You can but it would be easier to simply sync only what you want.
Select the iPad in iTunes.
Click the TV Shows tab at top.
Tick Sync TV Shows and select what you want to sync.
Then click Apply at bottom.
Once they are on the IPad and when I have viewed do I just continue to delete them from the Pad?

Unable to edit First no in Numbering series

Hello Experts
One of my client has entered data in Purchase Order for first time .
First PO in the database .
But unfortunately numbering series wasn't set , and by default general document numbering had 25 as its next no for PO.
And user added the document with out checking the Document Number.
Then tried to edit the " First No " in numbering series , but it is not allowing me to edit that coloumn.
I was trying to edit because , as the user started from 25.i would like to make the first no as 25.then that particular series will be closed .
Is there any work around so that i can edit the first no . or any other work around that i can get rid of this scenario.

Hi Krishna,
I have a solution to your issue. Navigate into Administration --> Systerm initialisation --> Document Numbering double click on the purcahse order series # --> Series -Purchase order- setup.
Change the Period indicator from the existing row default and define a newname and flag (tick) the LOCK checkbox and then create a new line by right clicking and add row with the required First No., set the period indicator to Default and set the new line "set as default".
The PO will start with the new numbering series.

Buying a series when owning individual episode, how does that work?

I'm thinking of buying a TV Series but I have already owe some of the episode. How will Itunes store charge me? Will it charge me the full amount, or figure out I have bought some of the episodes and only charge me for the ones I don't have? Or am I just better downloading each individual episode? Thank you for any help.

You'll be charged for the full series, regardless of how many episodes you may have already purchased separately.
Depending on how many episodes you have already purchased separately, you are probably better off, financially speaking, to continue purchasing remaining episodes separately. I don't think there is a significant discount in price for any series purchase over the total of individual purchases, but you should be able to calculate that easily yourself.
You can consider the series purchase for next season.

Streaming purchased TV from a friend's account?

My house is well set up with Apple tech. My iTunes library sits on my MacBookPro and I stream media to my Apple TV (2nd Edition). Sometimes I make TV series purchases directly from my Apple TV and watch them as they are streamed from the iCloud.
I have a friend coming over, and rather than watching what I have bought we would like to stream some of her purchased TV from the iCloud to my Apple TV. Is this possible? Can I just log out of my Apple ID and log in to hers on my Apple TV?
Apple is great at converging all of my tech if it is for just 1 user, but I am not sure how good it is for multiple users in one household? I'm sure what I am asking for is not a stretching ask from my tech... is it?

No. Only your Apple ID is assigned to your Apple TV.

Lost TV series - how to do to retrieve

Dear All,
After installing a new Iphone 4s on itunes, I have lost some applications but also some TV series purchased before on itunes store. I managed to retrieve the apps but not the tv series (even with the procedures explained in miscellaneous forums).
How can I retrie those tv series?
Do I have to contact apple and send them a copy of the invoices to be able to retrieve my purchases? Any other solution?

Go to iTunes and in the Store section in the left columns select Purchased. Then you should see Lost in your purchased list. If they are not there then look for "Download Previous Purchases" at the bottom right and select it. It will take you to the iTunes store where it will list all items you have purchased that are not currently in your iTunes.

How to transfer/enable my entire itunes library on new iMac? Purchased also

Songs from cds, songs i have downloaded from other suppliers & all my purchases from itunes store.
Now i have searched for the answers already but havents found clear answers which make me think i can manage it or do it myself.
I do not want to lose everything or even part of it. I have tried authorising my itunes library on other computers but in the case of my pc laptop, only 1 episode of a tv series came up when there where at least 2 or 3 entire seasons of other tv series purchased.
So whats the most straightfoward way. Also will be looking to transfer pics & video clips from my camera etc. Should i buy a firewire & can it be used for transfering my itunes purchases also???

OK. First you need to de-authorize the old computer: About iTunes Store authorization and deauthorization.
Next you need to copy your Music folder and some preference files to an external drive:
/Home/Music/ folder
/Home/Library/Preferences/ folder: transfer these preference files:
com.apple.iTunes.app.plist
com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist
com.apple.iTunes.plist
com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist
Once you transfer all this to the new computer you will need to authorize the new computer per instructions in the above link.
If you don't have an external drive, then you can perform the transfers via Target Disk Mode:
Boot your old computer into TDM. After the TDM logo appears boot the new computer normally. Your old computer's hard drive should appear on the new computer's Desktop. You can then transfer the files by drag and drop.
