TV Show Not Tranferring From iTunes to iPod When I Try To Sync-Please Help!
Hi, I am sure there is a simple answer to this but I am new to iTunes/iPod so I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong despite scanning thru iTunes help and forum topics. So, I purchased an episode of Big Love (I know, like you care), and I have tried multiple times to sync my iPod (3rd gen) but I cannot get the show to appear on my iPod. I have tried both the automatice and manual sync options to no avail. When I hit sync, iTunes says it is syncing but stops after a couple of seconds. If you can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!!
The first of the video capable iPods was the fifth generation 30 GB model that came out in 2005.
The last generation Nano (aka fat Nano), 3rd Gen, was also video capable but that doesn't appear to be what you're referring to.
In case you do have the right iPod but are just confused about which generation try the following :
If you bought the HD version iTunes also downloaded the SD, standard version, as well and that's what you sync to the iPod. Right click on the show and scan down the menu till you get to 'Version'. Click on it and select SD.

My Itunes keeps freezing when I try to sync it HELP!

I can't install apps on my iphone using itunes from my PC ! I've downloaded the apps from itunes store. When I try to drag apps from itunes library to iphone, nothing happens. What should I do?
Try downloading the apps from your phone
App store > tap updates> tap purchased> tap not on this iphone> click on the cloud with the down arrow for the app you want to download" -

If your device is not recognized by iTunes, I would recommend the steps in the article below. Start with the section labeled Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver. If the issue persists try all remaining steps.

I upgraded my iphone 5 to iOS 8 and now i get an itunes error message when I try to sync "this iphone cannot be synced. Unknown error. (-50). my icloud drive was stuck in an upgrade cycle, but i've stopped that and still get the error message.
I restarted itunes and tried again (based on a similar question/solution from 2012).
I don't get the error message anymore, but it's really sort of odd that after step one of sync, it looks as if sync stopped, and then all of a sudden you see step 4 of sync.
Also before the upgrade I had 7+ gigs of space free and after the upgrade I have 10 gigs free. seems like something is amiss, but it's not like I have anyway of determining that. -
I have apps that I downloaded from a friends computer and some from my own to my ipod.When I try to sync them to my computer it will only sync my apps and save them. Is there something I am overlooking to get all of them to sync and save
Your friends Apps are not your Apps... If you want those Apps you will need to Purchase them.

My iphone / mac no longer recognize they are the same Itunes library. When I try to sync my phone now, it wants to erase everything and replace it with the computers itunes library. I have purchased items on the phone I don't want to erase them from the phone. The phone backs up fine, but won't sync.
File>Devices>Transfer Purchases from "iPhone" and then sync.

The first time an iPhone is connected to iTunes that is used to sync with another iPhone or iOS device, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device or to set up the iPhone as a new iPhone.
The former does as provided - it transfers the backup for the other iPhone or iOS device to the iPhone replacing all data on the iPhone that is included with the backup being transferred. The latter does nothing allowing you to make your various selections for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
This is designed to be done right away with a new iPhone.
If you don't have a backup for the iPhone with iTunes on your computer and don't have an iCloud backup that hasn't been updated since choosing to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to the iPhone, the data that was on the iPhone is gone. -
I downloaded some apps for my ipho in the apptrackr site, the apps are shown in my itunes library but when i try to sync those apps at first it works and then it says an error occured (0xE8008001). How can I sync them without the error?
If your phone is jailbroken, we can't help you, as already stated.
If you're new to this and you're trying to download apps to put on your phone and it is NOT jailbroken, you can't do that.
You must go through the iTunes app store. -
Since I updated iTunes locks up when I try to sync.

The only way to gat an older copy of iTunes is through a third party site. Try to Google some. Hope this helps.

App not transferring from itunes to iPod

I have downloaded app in my computer, since size was more than 500MB.
Now when i try to update or sync my app from itunes to iPod touch 5th generation, it not working.
It shows determining apps to sync and stops immediately.
I have disabled restrictions, resetted my ipod and tried to drag and drop.
Its not working.
Please help me.Try:

I have downloaded some free apps from Itune store. but when i sync those apps in my ipod touch it dosn't apear in my ipod. i can't use that apps. what should i do? help please.
Are the apps compatible with your model iPod and its iOS version? You say you have a iOS 4.2. That implies a 2G iPod. Many, many apps now require iOS 4.3 or later or a 3G or later iPod.
Also do you have Restrictions turned on that would d prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions.
