TV Show schedule
Sorry in advance if this has already been covered...
Is there a way to find out when episodes of TV shows are going to be made available in itunes? For example, Survivor that was on tonight...when will it be available to watch on apple TV/itunes? I can't seem to find out that info.
According to Apple, new episodes will become available in the iTunes store within 48 hours after they've aired (it used to be 24 hours). In my experience with my passes, most episodes become available within 24 hours, but sometimes they're later than 48 hours (but not often).
It also seems to vary depending on the content provider. ABC shows tend to show up rather quickly, whereas the Daily Show from Comedy Central sometimes doesn't show up until several days later, especially the Thursday episode, which frequently doesn't show up until the following Monday.

Show scheduling message when direct edits to Start date
Is therre a way to show scheduling message when someone is editing the Start date directly for a task, I understand that a constrain get set by doing so, yet I also want to display some kind of scheduling message to the PMs, is it possible.
Yes, Julie you are right. If "Advice from Planning Wizard" option is cleared in Options, Project updates a key to value 0
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project\Options\PlanningWizard\Display PlanningWizard
But if "Do not tell me about this again" is selected in Planning Wizard dialog the below key is updated and there is no way to turn this on through Options:
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project\Options\PlanningWizard\PlanningWizardCases
By default, the Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project\Options\PlanningWizard\PlanningWizardCases has the value 11111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111
Also, there are several combinations too. If "Do not tell me about this again" is selected when a successor task is moved from the predecessor, the Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\MS Project\Options\PlanningWizard\PlanningWizardCases
is updated with 11111111111011111111111111111111111111111111111111111

Currently when the MRP runs it create the schedule lines in Day format.
What I need to do when the MRP runs the Schedule lines can be created in Week format.
I know that I can do it when I enter manually and add a schedule line in Week or Month format.,... but we need to have Week format automaticaaly when MRP creates the schedule lines.
Thanks in advance.Looks like is not possible doit automatically via MRP.
It must be manually in ME38. -

ODI Operator not showing scheduled packages
Dear guru,
Comes to a question where.. i have done the necessary steps to update my schedule package upon update agent scheduling.
Upon leaving it overnight on weekends.. It is found that operator didn't show the processes performed hence on scheduler timetable shows the particular package that is running... with its min time to complete and max time to complete..
Just wondering .. what could have gone wrong...
Regards,
terriPrior to the above question...
Now after looking thoroughly on the ODI operator session list..
On dates .. I do not see any thing running at all like normal..
when we expand today.. we would see the packages running even on manual interfaces execution it is not showing on operator..
And after expanding the Physical Agent i do see processes on scheduled packages but.. it looks as though it is all pending..
please advice on how am i able to fix this prob to get packages running as usual...
Urgent help or advices needed..
regards,

My current client wants to display a list of Open Delivery Schedules via ME3M or ME3N in ALV mode. using selection criteria WE101 or WE103. The problem is that these reports also display schedule lines that were already received. I tried changing the selection criteria, creating a new one and still the report shows schedule lines already received. Do you know a way to remove these delivery schedule lines.
FrankHi,
there is e.g. ME3N.
in the report on the very right there is a button like a schedule. Press it and you'll jump to the schedule lines.
regards, Paul.

Hi All,
I am using ME2L report to capture the Open PO's.
I am using a variant.
I found some wrong entries in that report.
I made a scheduling aggrement with one line item.
In line item the total quantity is 575.
I made that in to four schedule lines.
In first schedule line the Scheduled qty is 200 and GR done for 200 qty.
In Second schedule line the scheduled qty is 125 and GR done for 125.
In Third schedule line the scheduled qty is 125 and GR done for 125.
In Fourth schedule line the scheduled qty is 125 and GR not done.
After executing the report i am getting the following entries,
For first schedule line its showing
Scheduled qty 200 GR qty 200
To Be Delivered 125
For second schedule line its showing
Scheduled qty 125 GR qty 125
To Be Delivered 125
For third schedule line its showing
Scheduled qty 125 GR qty 125
To Be Delivered 125
For fourth schedule line its showing
Scheduled qty 125 GR qty 0
To Be Delivered 125
So for last schedule line its showing the corret "To be Delivered qty but not for the other schedule lines".
Help me in this regard.Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
When i execute the report with variants i am getting a different layout.
After i click views and delivery schedule in Menu.
I will get a layout like this,

Plnt SLoc Doc. date Quantity BUn Net price Crcy Per
Sched.qty. Deliv.date GR qty To be del.

Availability check on schedule lines of contract
Hi,
We have maintained 2 line items (L1 and L2) with same material (M1) in contract. Also these two line items have schedule lines maintained.
e.g.
L1 : S1,S2
L2 : S3,S4
Now we create a sales order in reference to line item L1 and do an availability check. The ATP does not show schedule lines for S1,S2 in availability overview. only S3,S4 quantities is taken into consideration for ATP calculation.
We have activated availability check at schedule line level.
Any pointers as to why S1,S2 requirements are not shown in availability overview
P.S. If we create a sales order in reference to line item L2 ,then the ATP does not show schedule lines for S3,S4 in availability overview. only S1,S2 quantities is taken into consideration for ATP calculation.
Any pointers will be highly welcome.
Thanks.Hi,
Sorry, for Sch. AV check is not activated but TR is activated.
For material ATP is activated- check in MM03

Scheduled report never leaves 'scheduled' status
I have a BIP report that is supposed to burst to three pdf files. I schedule it to run, it hits the scheduler queue, and it never leaves the queue. The Status column shows 'Scheduled' and it just sits there - never completes, never fails. I can click the Refresh icon for hours before I kill it. So there's no error thrown at all. It just sits there and stares at me.
Any thoughts of where to look first?Nevermind. I stopped and restarted every single OBIEE service and the problem went away.

Problem with variable in scheduled job
I'm trying to get the following scheduled job to run:
switch(config)# scheduler job name backup_job
switch(config-job)# cli var name timestamp $(TIMESTAMP) ; copy running-config bootflash:/$(SWITCHNAME)-cfg.$(timestamp) ; copy bootflash:/$(SWITCHNAME)-cfg.$(timestamp) tftp://1.2.3.4/
switch(config-job)# exit
switch(config)# scheduler schedule name backup_timetable
switch(config-schedule)# job name backup_job
switch(config-schedule)# time daily 1:23
switch(config-schedule)# exit
switch(config)# exit
This job is taken directly from multiple Cisco MDS and Nexus documents. From what I can tell, the purpose of this job is to save the running configuration to a file on bootflash with date & time in the file name and then to copy the file from bootflash to tftp server.
I can create the job and schedule successfully:
switch(config)#show scheduler job name backup_job
Job Name: backup_job
cli var name timestamp $(TIMESTAMP)
copy running-config bootflash:/$(SWITCHNAME)-cfg.$(timestamp)
copy bootflash:/$(SWITCHNAME)-cfg.$(timestamp) tftp://1.2.3.4
==============================================================================
switch(config)#show scheduler schedule name backup_timetable
Schedule Name : backup_timetable
User Name : admin
Schedule Type : Run every day at 10 Hrs 48 Mins
Last Execution Time : Tue Mar 6 10:48:00 2012
Last Completion Time: Tue Mar 6 10:48:00 2012
Execution count : 1
Job Name Last Execution Status
backup_job Success (0)
==============================================================================
The scheduled job runs successfully but the files that are created have the variable $(TIMESTAMP) in the file name instead of the actual date and time e.g. switch-cfg.$(TIMESTAMP)
The logfile contains the following:
Schedule Name : backup_timetable User Name : admin
Completion time: Tue Mar 6 10:59:26 2012
--------------------------------- Job Output ---------------------------------
`cli var name timestamp $(TIMESTAMP)`
`copy running-config bootflash:/PEN-9509-2-cfg.$(TIMESTAMP) `
Copy complete, now saving to disk (please wait)...
`copy bootflash:/PEN-9509-2-cfg.$(TIMESTAMP) tftp://1.2.3.4 `
Trying to connect to tftp server......
Connection to server Established. Copying Started.....
It looks to me that the $(timestamp) variable is being created successfully and is being replaced with the $(TIMESTAMP) variable but this is not being replaced with the actual date and time.
The thing I don't get is that this looks to me that we're trying to nest variables and the same Cisco documents from which I get this configuration also state that nested variables are not allowed.
I have tried this on different hardware - MDS9500, MDS9100, Nexus 5000, Nexus 7000 and different software - SAN-OS 3.3, NX-OS 4.1, NX-OS 5.2 but cannot get it to work. I have also tried to put the commands in a script and run with the run-script command but it still does not work.
There is probably another method to achieve what this configuration is trying to achieve (and I would like to know if there is) but I want to know if this particular configuration will work.
Can anyone tell me if they have got this working or can see what I'm doing wrong or can try running this in a lab please?I managed to get this resolved with a bit of a workaround. If I put the copy commands in a script and pass the variable to the run-script command as part of the scheduled job then it works ok. Trying to create the variable within the script (or as a separate scheduled job command) still doesn’t work.
So, creating a script file (script) as follows:
copy running-config bootflash:/$(SWITCHNAME)-cfg.$(timestamp)
copy bootflash:/$(SWITCHNAME)-cfg.$(timestamp) tftp://1.2.3.4
and creating a scheduled job with the following command:
run-script bootflash:script timestamp=”$(TIMESTAMP)”
achieves the desired result. -

The total time taken to produce one finish good is 2hrs which includes 1 hour for producing Y and one hour for producing X, while running MRP with lead time scheduling system creates RSQ for the finished good X say on 13.04.2010 and at the same time subassembly RSQ is created on 12.04.2010.
Whereas practically system should create RSQ for Subassembly on the same day and the finish time of subassemblyu2019s RSQ should be equal to start time of finished goods RSQ.
Is there any specific setting required for this?

Please check the OPU5 and selected the selection ID 02 for rate routing for detailed and rate based scheduling.
Scheduling type Backward and Adjust Scheduling to basic date.
Planned orders are created from MRP. When I check the planned order deatails, in the Det.Scheduling tab it shows scheduling type and in the Production rates tab it shows backward scheduling.
Also check the schedule margine key for both the materail it should be zero.

Create SSRS report using Schedule Perfomance Index(SPI) from mpp file
Hi,
We have project server data available in sql server. We need to create SSRS report to show schedule performance Index(SPI) of each week of all the projects. So we have the TaskSPI data available in MSP_EPMTask_Userview table. But the corresponding project
status date is represented once for each projects. Is the weekly status dates keeping anywhere in the database? How can achieve this functionality?
Regards,
JulieHi Julie,
SPI is calculated at task level and is also a timephased indicator (since BCWP and BCWS are also timephased). There are calculated based on the status date (project tab in the ribbon) which is at project level. The project status date is not kept in
time, this is a unique value thus you do not have a weekly status date.
Do you mean you want to keep an history of each value of the status date? Does it really make sense?
Hope this helps,

REM scheduling in planned order
Hi,
I am using repetetive manufacturing. I have maintained Forward scheduling in transaction OPU5 and selected the selection ID 02 for rate routing for detailed and rate based scheduling.
Planned orders are created from MRP. When I check the planned order deatails, in the Det.Scheduling tab it shows scheduling type Forward and in the Production rates tab it shows backward scheduling. I have maintained Forward scheduling in OPU5. So the production rates tab shows different scheduling type. How?
can any one explain this.
thanks and regards
