Tv show won't display or play in iPhone 6 Video player

I have an iPhone 6, kept up to date with the latest version and backed up every day. I purchase a subscription to The Soup TV show through iTunes but I can't get the latest, downloaded episode to display in the standard iPhone Video player (or any of the video player apps I've tried downloading). I have tried downloading it from the "Get More Episodes" link on my iPhone, by clicking on the link to the episode in the email alert, and downloading it on my Macbook Pro then dragging and dropping it over to my iPhone. I cannot get it to show up! And old episodes I've deleted will not stop displaying, even if I delete them on my iPhone or manually delete them using iTunes. They used to stop displaying if I managed them in iTunes but upgrades .
Is it just this TV show or is there something I'm just not doing? Thanks!

YamiPod is third party software for retrieving files from your iPod and copying them to iTunes. You can check out the web page for documentation. It's normally used on a fully functioning iPod where there's been a loss of iTunes due to a crash for instance. It may or may not work in your case but you'll find it at this link: YamiPod

IPod won't display already played podcasts

Since I installed iTunes 7, my iPod won't show podcasts I've already played. Previously, they would still be listed, just without the blue dot indicating podcasts that haven't been played yet. Now, as soon as the podcast has been played, it disappears from the listing on the iPod. They are still listed in iTunes.

Yes. I can see it there and play it as well...I just can't get it to transfer to my ipod from the itunes library. And it only happened with a few songs and I don't know what I did to make it so that it only trasferred to my library and not my ipod. But it is playable and viewable in my library and only when it is connected. Otherwise only the songs that are already on my ipod are viewable.
Does that make sense?

Firefox for windows won't display absolute positioned divs over flash video

I have a website that has a brightcove video player. About a month or so ago, I was able to float divs over the video player so that they would display on top of the video player, using absolute positioning.

In Firefox (mac), Chrome (windows), Internet explorer (windows) and Safari (mac) it all still displays properly. In Firefox (windows) the video player ignores the Z-index I assign it, and always places the divs underneath it, UNLESS I give the floating div a solid background color.
When I assign the following styles to the div containing the overlay, I can see the text properly, but of course the video is obscured.
background-color: #FFFFFF;
height: 158px;
position: absolute;
top: 4px;
width: 275px;
If I remove the background-color element the whole overlay pops to the back of the stack behind the video again.
Is this a FF windows bug or am I just missing something obvious?

At times you have to add wmode="transparent" attribute to the flash video embed code.

ITunes Won't Display (or Play) my Music

I just booted up iTunes on a brand new MacBook running Yosemite 10.10, with iTunes 12.0.0.140.
When I change the "Advanced" Preferences to point to the folder on my external drive, it has no effect whatsoever - Apple iTunes does not display my playlists and is apparently unable to find my music and media. Clicking the annoying "Scan for Media" button also does nothing (and gives no reason as to WHY it does nothing - excellence in software design. LOL!)
I have tried quitting iTunes and restarting. I have also tried rebooting the laptop (which is absurd, but one thread said this was necessary? Wow...)
What the is the deal with this? What "magic secret sauce" do I need to apply to get iTunes to work? This is a major P.I.T.A.

hi - I can't log into my old ID because the email account does not exist (why I changed my apple ID to begin with). I sent an email to Apple and they responded with basically the same advice - asking for my old ID information. I have only one ACCOUNT but two (old and new) ID's that I have purchased music under. However, when Itunes asks me to authorize my music, it will not play the songs after I have authorized them using both IDs (ie changing back to the old id name does nothing). Some of the songs that won't play were bought using both ID names - in other words, I can only play what was bought really recently, not just what was bought with the new ID.
also - the songs that will not play do not appear under my "purchase history" for my account.
Sorry if this does not make sense. I would really like to be able to play the 100+ songs that I have purchased in the past and can no longer access!

TV Shows Won't Display

Hi, I just bought the season pass of Supernatural from the iTunes site. The episodes work fine on my computer, but they come up in "podcast" form on my 30GB iPod Video. I've already tried to change my widescreen settings, and nothing seems to work. Help, please!

TV shows were showing with Artist field blank before I updated to 4.3.1. Thank you for the comment though.
This problem was just solved. I unchecked "sync TV shows" on iTunes devices menu, then re-checked it and transfered TV shows back, and it finally showed up without the app crashing. I did this earlier and didn't work but this time it finally did. I can start watching TV shows again!

Remote app won't display album artwork on IPhone 5s

Hi All,
When I connect my IPhone 5s to my iTunes library (mac mini) the album artwork is not displayed. Instead; there's text (Artist, Album and song title) where the artwork should be.
My friends and family with various other iOS devices have the artwork display fine! What's wrong with my IPhone?!

Removing then restoring the music library still showed unsynced artwork.
The problem was eliminated (finally!) after I deleted all downloaded artwork. Some but not all songs had the proper artwork embedded in their files. It appears that iTunes for Windows displays the proper embedded artwork but in Music on the iPhone the downloaded artwork over-rode the embedded artwork and was out-of-sync.
Upon deleting all downloaded artwork many albums' artwork was blank, both in iTunes for Windows and Music on the iPhone but at least artwork was synced! I copied artwork images off the Internet and embedded artwork in music files. Sync problem resolved.
This is costly in file space; there'd be a single instance of downloaded artwork per album vs. multiple instances of artwork in embedded files. So be it.
Perhaps if I had deleted all embedded artwork and relied solely on downloaded artwork.... will remain unanswered.

TV shows won't download from iTunes on iPhone or iPad

I am using all of the latest iPhone software, I am on wi-fi, with plenty of space available (>5GB).
-Open iTunes app store app
-Buy any TV SHOW (SD Edition)
-Buy button turns into "Downloading". Red badge appears in download portion of iTunes App. (expected behavior)
-Unexpected behavior: Red badge disappears. "Downloading" button turns back into "Download" button. Badge disappears from download area. Nothing downloaded.
This also happens if I try to download any TV show from the cloud.

Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name in the left sidebar under the Devices heading - and then select Transfer Purchases from the pop up. That should transfer the movies into your iTunes library on your PC.

Since going to IOS 5, my iPhone won't sync songs played on iPhone in iTunes (or videos)

How do I get it to go back to normal? I've turned off wireless syncing, but it's not happening through the usb cord either.

Since it told me to update, I updated to 10.7.
Then when I plugged in the phone again, it gave the same message that I need to update itunes.

Problem with playing audio data using Real Player

i've seen the intruction for playing video data (.rm) using real player and it works. Then i tried to play audio data (.wav, .dat, .mp3) with real player, but it didn't work.

Yes, realserver expects an exact mimetype.
to make matters worse, it expects audio/x-pn-realaudio (an audio mimetype) for video!?!?!
Seems the code inside maps multiple file extensions to some mime type. Only one is allowed.
I have used the unix strings commands in teh plugins directory to find the exact mime type realserver is expecting. The file format plugins have this information in them.

Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.
Start up in Safe Mode.

My Mac just updated to 10.10.1. Now iTunes won't display on screen. I can play songs by hitting the play key. If as I am typing this I click on the iTunes icon the tool bar does not show up at top for iTunes, but the tool bar will show up if I shut down safari. How do I get my iTunes app back?

iTunes won't play music and won't display some of my album art. I'll click play but the song wont play and some of my album art doesnt appear anymore. When I go on iTunes music store non of the pictures will appear it will just be black where a picture should be. What can i do to fix all of this?????

Won't display Album Art while playing music and the screen is Locked

So what's happening is that while I'm playing music and I lock the iPod, it won't display the album art. Only my wallpaper, which is one of the wallpapers that come with the iPod.
