TV showing Video in upper right corner
Please tell me how to get the TV off Video and back to regular
TV - I cannot figure out how to use the remote to change it!
This is a function of your particular television. Its the "Picture in Picture" (PIP) . Every TV handles this a little differently. On your TV remote there is likely a pip button. Pressing that will get rid of the box at the top right. Once that is done, press the source/input button on the TV remote to cycle through the TV's inputs until you get the TV back on the screen. For more assistance with getting rid of the Picture in picture on the TV, you will want to consult your TV manual or the manufacturer.

Itunes and wireless devices no longer show up in upper right corner of itunes window
Help! My Internet service was interupted last week and when it returned my iTunes and wireless devices no longer show up in upper right corner of the iTunes window. I finally figured out how to get both of my wireless devices to show up on the left hand column under devices, but nothing else shows up now in the upper right corner! I cannot for the life of me figure this one out and the tech manual is not helping at all. Help!
If you have the left-hand sidebar showing then that is where the store and your devices will show can be selected - if you press option-command-S if you are using a Mac, control-S on a PC, then the sidebar should be hidden and the store and device should go back to the top right. Is that what you mean ?

Attaching pic tp contact and have it show up in upper right corner
Does anyone know how to get the picture to come up in the upper right corner instead of the whole screen. I know how to attach it to a contact but I cant figure out how to make it look like it does in the apple commercials. Even apple tech support couldnt tell me how.
If the photo is attached/edited to one of your contacts on your PC then that contact synced to the iPhone then the photo will show up as an icon in the corner
If the photo is attached/edited to the contact on your phone it will show up as full screen -
Display - Black rectangle on upper right corner.
After some reboots, for any reason (updating software, etc.), a black rectangle approximately 3" wide and 1" high shows in the upper right corner of the display, about 1/3" from the display sides.
Restarting the laptop, sometimes twice, makes the black rectangle disappear.
I have been unable to recreate any situation where the black rectangle appears, or disappears. It seems to be random.
What could be the cause, and remedy?
Although not very young, the laptop works fine.
Another question, NOT related: is it possible to use a SATA internal HD in this PCC laptop? Its current HD is an ATA Toshiba.

CharlyMy guess is bad video RAM, but I suppose it could be a bad graphics chip or even a bad LCD connection. Try scrounging an external display and see if it has the same problem. Try gently flexing and squeezing the screen a little when this crops up. Unfortunately, bad VRAM is a permanent part of the main logic board.
No, SATA drives won't work inside the PB G4. I think I have heard of adapters, but I doubt they would fit. -
A circled number appears in the upper right corner of the iCal icon on my Mac Book Air. What does it mean? How do I resolve it? Why doesn't it appear on my 4S iPhone via the iCloud?

That number means that you have an event invitation. Use iCal>View>Show Notifications to choose what to do with the notification. Since OS X 10.7.2 is required for iCloud integration, I am not surprised that there are anomalies between the iPhone and the MacBook Pro. -

The easy question first: applying a style to the welcome message. If you look at the page source, you'll see that #WELCOME_USER# is expanded to <div class="app-user">Welcome: DEMO</div> So to change the style of the message, you need to tweak the style of the app-user div in your CSS, or override it in a style block in your HTML header.
Now, the tougher question: why the text is wrapping for you. And, really, without seeing your entire page, I can't give a full answer. But I'd suggest that what's most likely happening is that the table column you're putting it in is too narrow, so it's wrapping; try replacing the td tag with <td nowrap="nowrap"> This will force the column to be wide enough to display the full message, but might result in weird formatting elsewhere on the page (depending on what all is in your table).

Why does my caller I.D. photos show as a small thumbnail in the upper right corner and not full screen? I have used both photos I have synced and photos I have taken, yet others have full screen photo I.D.'s. I have looked onlime at several threads and there are no real answers as to what I need to do or am doing wrong.
I am also having this issue.
I've just spoken to someone in the Apple Support Centre who advised me that since the product is in beta, he is unable to assist. I wanted to find out whether someone was able to delete the data for me, or 'reset' the photos app somehow. This apparently cannot be done. He suggested I provide feedback via the feedback page, which I will do, but to be honest doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence in the issue being fixed.
I also deactivated the service and waited the 30 days for the pictures to be deleted - this should have been completed in mid-January. Instead, my iCloud.com Photos page is now showing the photos that should have been deleted as grey squares, just as you described. I am also unable to delete these photos; every time I try, I get the same message about a server error.
I am also unable to disable the service by enabling and then disabling it on my iPhone. Each time I have tried this it hangs on uploading for several hours, with the progress bar not moving at all. When I disable it on my iPhone, the web app remains unchanged.
If anyone has had this issue and has managed to fix it, PLEASE share your wisdom. I am out of patience! -
I updated Firefox and now Realplayer can't download any videos( download button in upper right corner of video don't pop up and there is no download option if I right click) if I use Internet explorer it works fine, I also went in to make sure I had it checked to pop up it is?! So it's not just youtube for me its all videos!

I have a Quicksilver twin 800 mhz and use 4.11.
My volumes show a question mark(?) on upper right corner.
What is going on ?One other thought: does the question mark go away when you open a folder?
I am beginning to suspect that maybe just right-clicking the Finder window's toolbar and selecting "Customize Toolbar" and then seeing if you can drag the question mark off the tool bar, like there is some phantom item that the Finder can't resolve.
A puzzle. It definitely has something to do with the Finder toolbar, though. I'm pretty sure of that at this point.
EDIT: OK, I recreated the situation. You can drag an AppleScript to the toolbar so it will always be available. However, if that AppleScript file goes away, what's left is the dreaded question mark. The solution is to just drag the question mark off the toolbar while having the "Customize Toolbar" pane open as instructed above.

My iPhone shows a padlock in the upper right corner and photos won't switch to a sideways view.
Recently my iPhone has displayed a padlock with an arrow surrounding it in the upper right corner and it seems that I can't view photos or text messages sideways. When you turn the phone sideways it does not change to view it in that setting. Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.

I did the latest iTunes update...I have 2 iPhones--each thru a different provider. Now, I can't sync to download any music from iTunes. iTunes doesn't recognize either device now. I went thru diagnostics, didn't work. I tried the suggestions from Apple...it says to click the device button in upper right corner....there isn't one. When I connected each for the first time after update, it "installed device drivers". I have checked for further updates on iTunes--nothing. I made sure there were no updates listed for iPhones...all up to date. I get an error code and from what I have looked through in forums etc, it seems like a lot of people are getting it...0ex000084 I believe it was. Windows opens to download photos but that's it. Devices are not listed at all. I have tried all 3 USB ports in computer too. I have never had any problems before this update!! HELP! I just bought $15 worth of music I can't download to phones now!
On the left hand side of iTunes do you have the sidebar up left hand side?
If this is not up then try this, with iTunes open press "Control" and "s" together and it should bring it up. From the sidebar it should show an option devices with the iPhones underneath it. -

For some reason, my bookmark button is longer behaving as a dropdown box in the upper right corner of the browser?
The box is there, but when clicked, my bookmarks appear on the left side of the screen.
I used to be able to click the bookmark box, the bookmarks appear and drop down, select a bookmark and the bookmark menu closes.That does explain the X. Thanks!
The reason I'm exporting in the first place is that a friend of mine wants me to fiddle with the rough cut of his video project a bit, and burn the results back onto DVD. (I think he thinks I can do more than I actually know how to at this point, but I figure that playing around with it is a good way to familiarize myself with the application.) -
Can no longer see flag in upper right corner
I don't know what I did, but I can't see the flag in the upper right corner of the flagged photos. They are still marked as flagged and it shows in the metadata panel. How do I get them back on the photo? Thanks
Is it possible you removed "Flag" from your metadata overlay presets?
Is it missing from all metadata overlays in all views?
