TV shows - continue playing next episode

I have these TV shows for the kids with 5 minutes episodes. How can I get it to continue automatically with the next episode after an episode finishes? On the iPad I can press the play button next to the TV show name, but I don't know anything similar in iTunes.
PS I know I can create a playlist, but would like to avoid that. Actually I have the same problem when playing a music album in iTunes, so I assume I am overlooking something basic.

Ok, so here's what I'm going to recommend.
Start by performing a NVRAM reset. Since we're dealing with a potential graphics issue, it's worth a shot and doesn't take very long. You can find the instructions for it here.
Since iTunes is the culprit, it mainly points to some sort of software issue. I'd recommend two things: Safe Boot and trying it out in a Test User.
Are you using any other external monitors?

Podcast app no longer auto-plays next episode. Is this a setting that I can change?

After updating to iOS6 and downloading the app update, the the next episode in the "unplayed episode" list no longer auto-plays. I really liked that feature and would like to be able to turn it on again. Any one know if there is a setting and where it is? I've tried to find it to no avail. Thanks!

I like to listen to podcasts in my car. But my favorite podcasts last 4-6 minutes and the iPhone is in the glovebox
Needless to say I had to stop listening to podcasts since the podcast App took over the music app.

Continue playing unplayed episodes

I can sync a smart playlist to my iPhone with unplayed episodes. On the iPhone the upplayed episodes option is available, I can start the first podcast episode but it doesn't automatically continue to the next unplayed episode with the last iOS and Podcast app. This has worked with previous versions. I can't see any settings to fix this. Any ideas? Thanks

This is an especially important feature for me because I usually listen to all my unplayed episodes while driving, and I dislike having to interact with my phone just to keep listening, when an episode ends and I'm not done with my travels yet. I'm stuck with either being unsafe (i.e., manually starting the next episode) while driving, or I have to find a place to pull over so that I can do it safely. I used to love the old feature where Podcasts automatically just continued to the next unplayed episode.

Problems w/ continuous play & next/prev. song controls

i am having large issues with the next and previous song controls. the controls in the top left corner to the right and to the left of the play/pause button only stop the current playing song when pressed, and when i press the left/right arrow keys on my computer keyboard to move to the next song, the current playing song also stops instead of working correctly.
to make matters worse, when a song in my library finishes playing, it does not go to the next song and begin play like it should, it only stops the music much like what happens when you try to manually go to the next song. i cant get any continuous playback of multiple songs and cant swith from song to song without double clicking with a mouse. can anyone fix this problem?

No problems ... I have the exact parallel problem with remembering the Mac key combo for this one.

Getting the TV shows to play automatically the next episode

Last night my iPod Touch automatically started playing the next episode of show ... this is something that I always wished that it did ... do you know how to make it do it ...

I know I can do that ... but my library is 1 terabyte ... So I sync my episodes every other day so I can get the most out of my 64 gigs ...
I don't wanna do that ... I have way too many episodes ... around 5000 ...
But I did something and all of a sudden I got 17 episodes on the screen and it started playing them one by one ...
Wondering what I did and how that happened ...

Why doesnt the netflix app have a continuous playing mode? I shouldnt have to select the next episode every 24 minutes.

How can I get continuous play for tv episodes thru iTunes on my mac and on Windows and not use my Apple TV. This is to allow members of the family who fall asleep to their computers playing shows.

You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 41 days" and won't let me download the rest of the shows even though I haven't changed accounts and I'm using the same account I purchased the shows with.

It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

We have set up apple tv in a bedroom and want to be able to have a rolling list of tv shows to play during the night. How do I set up a playlist to continuously play one after another? The playlist was already created in iTunes on the computer and home sharing is turned on, but I can't seem to find the playlist on apple tv. And I can't see the menu on the remote app for my iPhone 4s. It says I can drag to scroll, but there are no graphics on the phone to see. Please someone help!

It also matters not where the media files are stored (laptop hard drive or network drive).
AppleTV relies on iTunes to stream local content.
Not the most environmentally friendly option but that's the way it is.

Right click on a movie(in iTunes), and click "get info" then go to album artwork and add the artwork that you want...

If you open the recovery drive (partition) it should only have a single folder (Recovery).
To make sure that your not saving restore points to that drive.
See:
Start, Control Panel, System, System Protection tab. Make sure the D drive partition is set to OFF so that it does not save there.

Playing podcasts in iTunes, jumps to next episode before finished.

Playing a podcast in iTunes (12.1.0.50) on iMac (Yosemite, 10.10.2), after playing for about 5 min it jumped to the next episode in the list, played that one for 5 min, then jumped again, and did this until got to the end of the list, then just stopped!

I had this problem it's because the next episode isn't downloaded, you need to click the cloud with the arrow on it on the right hand side. Will play fine after that.
