Tv shows file size?

Im in uk, cant get them yet cant wait til we can, but was just wondering how big a typical file size is and how long it takes to downloa

Based on the 4 minute pixar movie I downloaded. That is 20mb. So I'd say 200-300mb depending on the exact length.
Don't remember how long the short took to donwload, I'd say several minutes. I seem to remember Steve Jobs saying it would take about the time of 5 albums in iTunes.

    How can I add the file size to the icon view "File Info" for images?
    I know how to get it to display the image size under View Options. In this mode it shows pixel dimensions for some images (not for svg or pdfs tho) and file size for some non-images (rar, zip, but not txt or plain text files).

  • Can't download files, shows file size is "-1bytes"

    Hello, recently when I try to download files they do not start up immediately like they used to, and when they do it shows the file size of the file is "-1bytes". But, when I use a download manager to download it, it downloads just fine.
    This isn't just 1 website in particular it happens for all the websites. I tried uninstalling FireFox, and installing it again and I still can't download anything.
    Example:
    [http://i44.tinypic.com/6nqjbd.png ScreenShot] of the download, when I try to download FireFox.

    That may be a bug. Firefox shows a size of -1 if the size is unknown instead of suppressing the file size.<br />
    You can ignore that if the file down;loads fine.

  • Show file size coming from UCM

    I need to show the size of a file that comes from Oracle UCM and the file size should be shown in Kilobytes, the file size is in bytes so I've divided in 1024 for the number in kilobytes
    I have the following source code and the continuous result being shown in bytes.
    Please if you can give me your comments.
    thank you very much
    <c:set var="nodeArchivo" value="#{cmfn:getNodeById(cptutils.repository[node.propertyMap['BCCH_PUBLICACION_RD:ARCHIVO'].value.stringValue])}"/>
    <c:set var="fileKB" value="#{nodeArchivo.propertyMap['VaultFileSize'].value}" />
                <fmt:parseNumber var="fileKBTransf" type="number" value="${fileKB}" />
                <fmt:parseNumber var="fileKBTransf" integerOnly="true" type="number" value="${fileKB/1024}" />
      <af:outputText id="archDown" styleClass="pesoArchivo" value="#{fileKBTransf}"/>

    Hi.
    You are mixing '$' and '#' expressions that are evaluated in different phases of the lifecycle.
    #{fileKBTransf} is evaluates before of the ${fileKB/1024}
    Take care when mixing JSTL and ADF and $ and # expressions .
    Anyway try to do it directly:
    <af:outputText id="archDown" styleClass="pesoArchivo" value="#{cmfn:getNodeById(cptutils.repository[node.propertyMap['BCCH_PUBLICACION_RD:ARCHIVO'].value.stringValue]) div 1024}"/>
    or
    <af:outputText id="archDown" styleClass="pesoArchivo" value="#{cmfn:getNodeById(cptutils.repository[node.propertyMap['BCCH_PUBLICACION_RD:ARCHIVO'].value.stringValue]) / 1024}"/>
    Regards.

  • Show File Size Column in Smart Folder

    Any way to show the file size column in a smart folder? I'd like to be able to sort the search results by size.

    That's pretty frustrating. I'd like to be able to view the Folder name in a Smart Folder but it doesn't seem like that's possible either. I just created a Smart Folder to show all my TGB projects. Unfortunately, I have 12 items all named project.t2dproj so I have to click each file and look at the path to know what it is. Not very helpful for my usage.

  • Showing file size in LR3

    hi, can anyone tell me if it's possible to show the MB file size of individual images whilst I am looking at images in Lightroom? thank you for your help.

    Hi,
    File size is not one of the options for the Loupe View Info panel. However, in Library Mode, you can vie wthe file size in Mb of each picture in the Metadata panel, as shown in this screen grab;

  • Show file size in Cell Extras? (Either Compact or Expanded, or anywhere in Grid for multiple images simultaneously)

    I've searched and seen several suggestions saying to change Metadata to Exif & IPTC to see the file size, but that's for only one image at a time. Under Cell Extras (both Compact and Expanded) I see options for Megapixeps, Cropped Dimensions, File Name, Extention, and a bunch of other options, but no file size. I suspect this is because file size isn't a metadata field and simply a file attribute (that may be incorrect, but regardless...) is there really no way to have file size visible in the thumbnail cells in Grid view in the Library? I'm trying to reduce redundancy and viewing file size of multiple images at a glance based on my Library Filter criteria would be a huge help. Thanks to anyone who can help sort me out!

    Sure. I have a catalog with 22,000 images indiscriminately imported from hundreds of folders and multiple drives from this year alone (partially lost a RAID array to a corrupt index and recovered a dump of the files so I'm terribly disorganized juggling emergency redundancy backups wherever I had 50 gigs here, 100 gigs there, and working to clean up and organize my photos one year at a time ), including raw, jpg, websized jpg, png, tiff and psd (flattened and with layers/adjustments) and am now trying to identify my keepers and delete unnecessary files. I have 22 terabytes of personal files and photography spread chaotically and while I now have proper discipline when saving variants, I didn't always and want to remove unneeded, rejected, and duplicate images. I don't expect to be caught up for months or longer depending on my free time and sanity. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as keep the raw delete the rest. Sometimes I have multiple PSD documents with different version names and edits, sometimes with multiple layers, and I have to use a variety of information to identify which one is indeed the correct one to keep...or open them all/both.
    Often, file size can be an indicator for me and aids in making the decision more quickly. For instance between 2 psd files with the same Megapixles I'm often able to identify the flattened version vs the layers intact version by file size if it wasn't properly noted in the filename, which unfortunately due to a combination of bad or evolving practices and being tired or rushed happens more often than I'd like to admit. One I just came across that brought me here searching was 3 similarly named and appearing PSD files of a panorama, all with the same MP/dimensions. One was flattened, one was the original stitch, and one was flattened with a few masks, adjustments, and an extra layer, and being the one I'd want to keep. Filesize helped me quickly identify which was which. Also sometimes dimensions are misleading, like when a panorama is first created and uncropped, its dimensions are larger, but a tighter cropped image with multiple layers and a larger file size indicates to me that it is newer and more finished, even though smaller dimensions typically indicates a crop and may not be a 'master' copy. Additionally, 2 images with different names but the exact same file size are very likely duplicates (at least in my workflow) but 2 similarly looking images with the same dimensions could be retouched/not, sharpened/not, have noise reduction/not, and I'd have to view them in detail to determine if they were in fact identical. For my purposes (since these are my personal fine art images & I have the raw files incase I occasionally mess up) I'm often willing to trade an educated guess for my time. Seeing identical file sizes on 2 apparently similar images is good enough for me to delete one.
    I can select them individually and check...it's not a horrific problem. But it would save me time so I was hoping I had simply missed how to view that. My reasoning is 'why not' have the option available with all the others? Me personally, I don't care about megapixels when I already have the dimensions, that's just redundant and honestly much less helpful than LxW. File size would be an additional tool I would use, though. There are other examples but the main thing is that I do spend time checking filesize, and specifically when comparing multiple images, so having it displayed in the cell would be a time saver for me.

  • Gnome native dvd burner - show file sizes before a burn on dirs?

    Is there a way to get a gnome-native dvd burning app to show the filesizes of user added folders before a burn?  In other words:
    Blank DVD
    -Folder 1 (3.2 Gb)
    -Folder 2 (0.4 Gb)
    I have tried in both gnomebaker and brasero but can't do it.  The only app that does is k3b and it requires tons of kde libs to run.

    Hi, you can upload screenshots hear, limited to 2 NB I think, by using the little Camera icon in a reply.
    Apple thinks we don't need to no anything & things should just work, of course they often don't & the lack of, or difficulty of finding useful info is no help... & it's getting worse.
    Some things are easier on Macs, some on Windows.
    I suspect you're copying from some iPhoto or fancier App's folder, which may contain icons & such of the real thing.
    Might try Burn...

  • How to show a downloads file size in the "Save As" dialog?

    Hello,
    I have been using Firefox off and on for the last year or so, and there's one thing that always gets me to stop using it, whenever I download a file I cant see the file size of it in the "Save As" dialog, Internet Explorer and Opera has this feature and it's one of the things that I really need, I have tried that extension that does this (I forget the name of it), but unfortunately it is not for Firefox 4 :(

    This addon is incompatible for Firefox 4.0 RC. but you can add another addon in firefox to make it work: Addon Compatibility reporter. 1st install this addon and then install your " Show file size addon" it should work then.

  • Any way to have file size included in the first search in finder?

    Is it possible to somehow show file sizes when doing a search in finder?
    On Panther, it was very helpful to have the file sizes listed. This immediately revealed whether the photoshop files I was looking for were full size or reduced.
    But when I run a search in Snow Leopard it only shows name, kind and last opened. Otherwise I have to also add a second search to add in file size.
    Any way to have file size included in the first search?
    Thanks!

    Well, I wish I could take credit for knowing it was there before two days ago... but I dropped my laptop a couple months ago and it finally died for good on Friday, and I noticed this on the new laptop when setting up my Finder preferences.

  • Trying to reduce file size of my opening page in a flash site

    I'm using the Flash CS4 IDE, and the first page of my site takes a lot longer to load than I want it to.  So I wanted to go through the varied images / symbols / movie clips / sounds and so on to see where all the memory is being chewed up.
    When I go into my library, however, I can see the Name, LInkage, usecound and Type of my elements, but no mention of file size and I can't seem to find any right click menu that lets me add file size to the list of details being displayed.
    Is there a way to make it show file size?  Or some workaround?
    And are there any best practices to reduce file size aside from using symbols for anything that's used more than once and reducing image and sound quality?
    Thanks

    I was actually using the term pretty loosely.  I'm building a Gaia site which works by loading an Index page, then a Nav (navigation) page on top of that, and then lets you load and unload pages as necessary on top of those.
    Since the Nav page never gets unloaded it's a good place to park certain content.  So it's actually my Nav page that's gotten too bloated.  And the coding is handled through a separate Nav.as file (so it's not the first frame of my nav.swf, it's all the varied movie clips I had to incorporate into my Nav.fla
    I'm just looking for a way to identify which MovieClips &  sound files (only have a couple of short ones) and other assets are taking up the most memory so I can see if I can cut those down.
    Also, do unused symbols use up memory or is it only the assets you actually end up adding that count toward file size?
    Thanks

  • File Size Indication Mismatch.  Why?

    After all this time with LR, I just noticed something puzzling that I have somehow probably missed an explanation for.
    Why does LR show file sizes smaller than the actual file size. I have tif scans that are about 32megs that are shown in LR as 6 megs. Normally, I pay no attention to file size, but today I did. Is it that the size indication is for the preview maybe? Or, am I missing something basic here?

    The size indication you are looking at is probably for megapixels. You can see the actual filesize in Lightroom in the metadata panel if you set it to "all" but I don't think you can show it on the badge in the Library grid display. A 6MP 16-bit uncompressed tiff should be about 36 megs, so close enough..

  • Video Stalls - Larger File Size

    Just downloaded Battlestar Galactica season 2 and the video stalls at full screen. Do not have this problem with previous Battlestar Galactica shows and movies that I have downloaded in the past.
    I notice the File Size and Total Bit Rate of the new shows are three times greater in size than the shows I've downloaded in the past.
    Using the utility ativity monitor, I notice I'm maxing out my CPU when I go to full screen which I think is causing my video stall.
    I also notice that now my previous TV show downloads don't fully fill my screen like that did before the new downloads.
    I hope someone might know how I can get my TV shows back to working normal at full screen and why the new TV shows file sizes are larger than before.

    Thanks for the reply. Shortly after I posted, I started to relize that Apple was offering better TV Show quality which results in larger file sizes. I also went to my Energy Saver section in System Prefrences and found my Optimize Energy Settings was set for Presentations. I changed it to Highest Performance which resolved the issue.

  • File size in finder

    When I open a folder, I can see the size of the files in the folder.
    However. When I search for a file in FINDER, it does not show the size of the file. And I can find no option to make it show the size of the file.
    I would like to see the size of the file when I search for a file in FINDER.
    Is this possible?

    +I click on FINDER.+
    You are clicking on the word "Finder" in the upper left corner of the menu bar?
    +It opens. I type in a file name I am searching for. For example "final grades".+
    What opens? Finder is always active. If I click on Finder as above, the only thing that opens is a pop-up window with options such as Preferences.
    The only other way I know of to "open" Finder is to click on the Finder icon in the dock. Would that be what you mean? If so, you are simply opening a Finder window and using the search box - in turn, that means you are searching in a Finder window and there is no option to show file size in the results.

  • Iphoto '08 NEF file size info missing

    Some of the photos that I have taken on my Nikon D50 (which are imported into iphoto as NEF files) show "0 KB" as their file size. So I have no way to figure out how large an album is. Iphoto told me that one album has 356 MB of pictures and when I went to burn them on a CD in Toast 8 the size came up as 5.6 GB (which sounds accurate for 200 pictures at around 5 MB each)!
    And some do show file size; I thought it might be related to whether or not I had made adjustments but that doesn't seem to be true. It just seems random.

    Is it a portrait oriented photo? If it is then iPhoto created a modified version  which is rotated and underwent one level of JPEG compression.
