Tv shows on iPad but not in Library-how to remove...

I have a MacBook Pro running Mavericks and iTunes 11.4. I have 5 tv shows that are showing up on my iPad but they are not in the Library and I deleted them from the Finder. But they show up on the iPad under tv shows. They aren't highlighted so I can't delete or uncheck them. How do I get rid of them off my iPad? In fact I just looked at the tv shows actually on my iPad and there are several I want to get rid of but I don't know how if they aren't in my iTunes Library..... I know the answer is out there but I can't figure it out.... Thanks for the help, Judy

If they show in the iPad's Videos app and they don't have the cloud icon against them then you should be able to delete them directly in the Videos app - either via the Edit button at the top right of the TV Programme selection screen, or if you select a series you should be able to swipe/drag across an episode from right-to-left and that should revel a Delete button. Or you can do it via Settings > General > Usage > (then Manage Storage under the 'Storage' heading if on iOS 8) Videos - that should also give a Delete button top right, or select a series to delete individual episodes.
If they have the cloud icon against them in Videos then they are in the cloud - you can turn off the showing of videos that are in the cloud via Settings > iTunes & App Store > Videos (under 'show all') 'off'. If you've streamed them from the cloud on your iPad then they might be using space, so check the Usage section as above (and delete them from there if they show).

It might take a few minutes after sign in for your Skype credit balance to update. Does the problem still persist today? Also do you see the correct balance on your Skype web account page at www.skype.com/go/myaccount

Hotmail e-mails "sent" from iphone show on ipad but not mac?

Hey, just a quick question ergarding emails "sent"
If I send or reply to and email on my mac it'll show in both my iphone and ipad in the sent folder, but if its sent from either of these it doesn't show up in the mac sent box?
Is there a fix for this?

on your iPhone and iPad go to settings/general/mail/accounts and look at the accounts. It will say how you set it up. On your iMac go to Mail/prererences/accounts and you will see the account description. If it's working OK for you and you aren't comfortable with setting up mail accounts it can get messy.

iTunes Store purchases are treated a bit differently than other music in your library. If you have authorized music purchases from the iTunes store on your phone and your computer is authorized for that same account, you can transfer purchased tunes from the phone to the computer -- whether you purchased them on the iPhone or on the computer. I have a dual boot with Ubuntu 10.10 and Windows 7, with linked profiles. When I upgraded to 4.0, my tabs and settings would show in Windows, but not Ubuntu. How do I fix this?

This worked when I first installed and booted in Ubuntu. When I booted in windows, my tabs which were open in Ubuntu opened in Wndows. But, when I booted back into Ubuntu, all of my tabs and pinned tabs were gone, as well as the firefox button. My bookmarks and firefox background remained, but none of my tab settings.

To revert to 3.6.16, do the following.
* Go to [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.16] and download it to the desktop.
* Then go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to Mozilla Firefox and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (don't checkmark the box).
* Then reboot and delete the folder called Mozilla Firefox at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
* Finally run the installation file you downloaded.

I am really upset.
I really love my itouch but anything beyond using it as a daytimer, camera and note keeper is shear torture.
I post a question, I have to repost it multiple times.
I search for a solution to a problem, such as, "How do I download an audiobook" - I get a web page of all the things that itouch can do, but no instructions on how to do them.

Have you checked to see whether it's in the Music app (iTunes on the iPad it just the store, it doesn't contain your downloaded and synced content) ? When you have audiobooks on an iPad you will get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store (so they won't appear in the Purchased tab for re-downloading), so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases so that you can take a backup copy of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your iTunes library.

ICloud Photo Library: How do I transfer photos and videos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone?

I had iCloud photo libraey turned on on both my iPad and iPhone. As said by the feature, photos and videos were being transferred automatically from each device to each other. I have a 64GB iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 5 only has 16GB of storage so I am lacking much more space on my iPhone than my iPad. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer photos only from my iPhone to my iPad but not from my iPad to my iPhone. Would turning off iCloud Photo library on my iPad do the trick? iCloud Photo Library keeps all of your photos in the Cloud which you then can selectively download. So, unless you download the iPad photos, they are not going to be taking up any room on your iPhone:

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds and see if you can get it to reboot.

Try force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

it's only possible with pop3 type email accounts not with imap and exchange
preference->account->click the account in question-Click advanced and set "remove copy from server after retreiving a message to what you wish it to be
