TWAIN interface for scanning..

Can someone please tell me what they are doing for a scanning interfaced under Windows7 64 bit? I hate the WIA interface. Is there a way to get TWAIN to work?

I did that... I moved the optional plug-in into the plug-in folder. It does not work correctly. I would just like to know if this something that Adopbe is working on? I have 2 Canon multifunction printers and it's really a problem. Photoshop versionn 7 worked fine. Who is responsible for this- Adobe or the scanner manufactuer?

HP OfficeJet 6500 wireless twain driver( for scan to quickbooks) needed

I have an extra HP OfficeJet 6500 wireless printer around and I wanted to see if it had a twain driver so we could use it to scan to attach directly to QuickBooks. QuickBooks lists scanners they think would work and it is not on the list but they also state that any twain driver should work.

I upgraded PSE12 to PSE13 on my W7 64bit PC. I cannot now use my Twain Plugin for scanning.

I have discovered from the forum there is no 64 bit Twain Plugin, so I cannot scan using my Canon PIXMA PG6350 Printer/Scanner which I had been using in PSE12.
If I uninstall PSE13 , how can I reinstall as a 32 bit version.
Ant help would be appreciated.

HP C4385 Twain Driver for Windows 8.1 available?

Can I use C4385 for scanning purpose in Twain mode under Windows 8.1 64-bit? At the moment, I'm using WIA mode only which is pretty slower than Twain mode.

Photoshop CS4 - TWAIN driver for my Epson Perfection 3200 scanner

I have been attempting to find, download and install a version of the TWAIN driver for the Epson Perfection 3200 Photo scanner. I need a version that will work with the Mac OSX 10.6.7 operatinging system and Adobe Photoshop CS4. I have already exhausted all efforts to get an appropriate driver from Epson and they suggested I see if Adobe didn't have one that would install into the Import/Export folder of CS4. Can you help?

forget twain and scanning through Photoshop (keep working in Photoshop while you scan by scanning in the manufacturer's scanning app, or try VUESCAN free scanning software)
note that Ps runs in 64 bit by default and many scanner plugins conflict because they are 32bit and buggy so if your scanner pluging is 32 bit, you need to run Ps in 32 bit if you want to the TWAIN door (again, not recommended, and it's been discussed here many times, probably why your post hit air)

RF Interface for Goods Issue - IM Level

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement for barcode. Standard RF is not having any interface for GI transaction at Inventory Management level. Only at WM level, for confirming TO we have STD RF interface. We want to introdue RF interface at IM level thru development but for this the pre-requisite should be the TO generation.
For example when I create any reservation against cost center, Maintenance order, Project etc. The system should able to generate a TO in backgroud. This should happen before actual GI, i.e. just immediately after creating a reservation.
Appreciate if you can let me know whether it can achieved thru configuration settings or any other parameters.

Hi Venu,
There is a work around you can follow if RF scanning is not available at IM level.
You must be scanning the RF or Barcodes before issuing them to cost center or project or production order at the end of scanning you must be getting a scanfile with material its EAN/UPC Numbe, batch number and quantity. You can use this file and using some suitable BADI for Goods Issue. I guess by this you will avoid unnecessery Zdevelopment and even GI will be automated.

Has anyone has used 2D barcode scanner for scanning serial numbers into SAP B1 System. We want to use 2D barcode scanner so that we can scan it fastly. Can someone help us out.

Having a 2D or a barcode scanner does not make any difference on the level of the interface to the pc.
Take a hand scanners which is able to operate as a Keyboard-Wedge. These may have an "Y" cable, with is a socket for your keyboard on one end and the other one a plug to go in the keyboard socket (PS2) on the PC. It is available also with an USB interface.
Your PC will not even know whether the characters are coming from you keyboard or from the reader. The type we are using is a Leuze IT 4600 (http://www.leuze.com/products/log/2d02_en.html), but any other type with keyboard-wedge funcionality would do the job.
You should note that reading a 2D code will not be faster than reading a barcode. The difference is in the code density, you will need less place for a 2D code than for a barcode.

Twain Driver for Labview?

Does any one know if National Instrument have any plan to develop a driver to interface with digital (still) cameras? They just released the IEEE1394 driver. The absence of a corresponding USB driver is very glaring. What's going on?

Need printer for scanning negative/slides

Recommend a good printer for scanning pictures/slides as OX 10.9.1 does not recognize TWAIN from my HP Photosmart 3210 and can't use 3d market software, have to use System Pref/scanner. Very Limited.

since this forum is for troubleshooting Apple Software Update for Windows, a software package for Windows designed to update Apple products that run on Windows, and not related to Mac software, you should probably post your question in the OS X forums.
Otherwise, your best bet would be to probably purchase Read IRIS for Mac, as there is most likely no freeware OCR software for Mac.

scanner doesn't work since installing windows 8.1. Doctor for scanning and printing want's me to install new driver.
But I can't find it.

I understand you are no longer able to scan since updating to Win 8.1.
Uninstall and reinstall the Win 8 driver again. This should resolve your issue.

I checked online for the drivers for the Scanjet G4050 on Maverick. None available at this time.
When you connect the device to the computer it should do automatic updates. If not run the apple updates.

Problem to deploy to a WebService interface for ADF Business Components to Weblogic Server

Hi,
I'm trying to deploy a custom application ,in which i have exposed ADF Business Components through a WebService interface, to a standalone weblogic server.
Application Module is configured with a Service Interface for ordinary ViewObjects.
Now I want to create a EAR file of this application to deploy it on the weblogic server.
But I got an error while deploying it.The error i am getting is shown below.
ERROR: No Java EE modules detected in EAR archive. Deployment aborted. == (oracle.jdevimpl.deploy.ear.WeblogicAssembler)

As far as I know there is no interface for it.
Check if you can use EGO_ITEM_AML_PUB.Implement_AML_Changes.
If that does not work, you can do a straight insert into the MTL_MFG_PART_NUMBERS
The main columns are manufacturer_id , organization_id, inventory_item_id , and mfg_part_num.
Oracle validates only the first 3. And it does not allow duplicates of the first 4 columns.

Interface for Excel does not work in Windows 7 - Important

Im using BPC 75 MS SP04 with a computer Windows 7, IE 9, Office 2007. Apparently the Excel works "fine", the issue is that whenever I try to access to Interface for web from the main page (clicking the icon) it does not work, does not do anything...
What do you suggest to do?
Working directly in excel is not a problem, accesing to templates vía "Etools - Open dynamic templates" is fine.
The issue is that users that have every access controlled by BPF's (using Interface for Web) cannot work.
Also, we use a template that uses 12 EVDRE reports in the background, we know it is a lot... but it was required like that.
Once accesing to this template vía Etools -Open dynamic template... Excel gets stuck and I have to force it to shut down.
Also Im working with a Vista system, Office 2003.
For this systems, we also use the template EVDRE (12 reports). Once any of both systems access to this specific template, Excel gets stuck and I have to shut it down. Any other template is able to work with, but these 2 machines (7 and Vista) cant.

Based on SAP Note: 1603248, IE9 is not supported on BPC 7 and 7.5.
So you have to revert to IE8.
Only IE8 and IE7 are supported in 7.5 MS.

I do this all the time, I put my MBP to a 60 inch Sharp. If you have the video working do the simple thing first. Check to make sure your sound is on your TV and Mac. Then if that doesn't work go to System Prefrences and under sound go to a tab called Output and see if your TV is listed and if it is change it to that setting
