Twitter and pics

I'd rather not download the Twitter app. On my RAZR I was able to simply use the browser for twitter w/o problems. I got the RAZR maxx and now I cannot attach pictures to a tweet in the browser. If I take a picture after starting the tweet, it attached the pic. But I can't attach a pic already taken or a pic that I downloaded. Any help??

Gotcha! I understand your concerns regarding shared information AT_Jen! Sharing pictures to Twitter or any other social media channel is very important, however, we do not control the information required to access any application. Twitter is a very popular and reputable application and I personally feel very safe about using their application. Now, what specific issues are you experiencing with your Hotspot feature? I'd like to explore options to resolve.

Even when I do accept the risks the site no longer looks the way it's looked for years. Twitter doesn't even give me the option to accept the risks at all and shows this error (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer). I've tried resetting Firefox, I've checked the time and date, and I've removed and added Firefox to see if that would work. Nothing seems to be working so I can see the sites the way they normally would be instead of "coded". Can anybody help me please?!!! Thanks

ok, unfortunately the fiddler2.com issuer in certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

No Twitter and Facebook Notifications

There's still no sign of Twitter and Facebook push notifications appearing following the introduction of Notifications in ios5.
All the settings in Notifications for these apps are set correctly and I have the latest versions of the apps. I'm getting other
notifications - Mail, Calendar etc - but no Facebook or Twitter.
One other question on this. Assuming this does get to work, exactly what notifications should be received? For example, is it just Direct Messages
on Twitter rather than posts by people you follow? Same question with Facebook.

Here is my experience with this issue.
First of all, I have an iPhone 4S (my first iPhone), and when I first got my iPhone in the mail and installed Facebook (fb) I was getting my fb notifications without any issues. Then after installing others apps and receiving updates, all the sudden I stopped receiving my fb notifications via fb app. The only way that I would get fb notifications was by e-mail, but I soon realized this was going to be so annoying. Thereafter, I decided to search online and see if there other customers with iPhones were having the same issues I had encountered. Surprisingly enough, I found this thread. After reading all of your comments herein, the first thing I did was to delete my fb app from my iPhone. Secondly, I deleted my fb app from my previous smartphone (bb), and thereafter, I downloaded fb onto my Mac through iTunes, and from there to my iPhone. I can now say, that thus far this has resolved my issue, and I'm now getting fb notifications on my iPone via the fb app.

Downloading previously purchsed music from iCloud is based on your iTunes ID, not your iCloud ID. (It uses "iTunes in the Cloud", which has nothing to do with your iCloud account, just your iTunes ID.)
If you are using a different iTunes ID on your iOS devices than the one you used to purchase the music, you'll have to sync the music to your devices using iTunes. If they are using the same iTunes ID, you can download the music to your devices as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519.

I experienced this problem recently but was able to solve it by signing out of, then back into Photo Stream on the computer. This will temporarily remove your photos, but once you get signed back in, it will repopulate the photos. Be sure you have updated to the latest version as well.

If you have a backup, restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the computer. This restores the library and device association files. If for some reason you chose to only back up the media and not the entire iTunes folder, then the only option is to let iTunes wipe the drive and re-sync.

I seem to be having the same problem on my brand new iPhone 4S. Everything was working fine on the phone until I updated to iOS 5.1.1, but now I no longer receive push notifications for the native Mail app, Instagram, or the Facebook app. I still seem to be receiving SMS texts and iMessages via push, but the aforementioned apps need to be opened before I can receive missed notifications (having them open in the background seems to make no difference).

did you try notifications under settings? You can customize it as per your requirement, for each application.

How to backup docs and pics using a USB drive?

I'm a fairly new Mac user and I'm panicking a little right now. I bought a USB to backup my pictures, documents, etc. (I also backup using Time Machine and an external drive, but wanted some extra protection). I just inserted the USB drive for the first time, it showed up on my desktop as "Untitled" (so far, so good), then I dragged my Documents folder from the Dock to the USB icon and the Documents folder from the Dock is gone. (Yikes!) When I opened the USB icon, there was nothing in it. I looked in Finder and my Documents are still in this Mac (somewhere), but how do I get the folder of them back onto the Dock? And before I go any further, what is the (proper) procedure for backing up my docs and pics (from iPhoto) to this USB drive?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not gonna touch a thing until I hear from someone with more Mac knowledge than this Mac newbie.

Select the drive in the Finder, choose Get Info from the File menu, and if it's format doesn't contain Mac OS Extended, use the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder to erase it.
Click on the item in the Finder's sidebar with the house icon and drag the items inside you want to back up onto the external drive and drag the Documents folder to the Dock.

Facebook, twitter and some games of "PlayFirst" open in 1/4 of the screen, like if my iPad Mini is an ipod

The problem that I'm having is difficult to explain so a picture would be great but I don't know if I can upload an image.
The thing is that Facebook and twitter app (Also games made by playfirst) when I open them they appear like for fitting an iPod touch, in only 1/4 of the screen and the other part of the screen just stays black. Sometimes Twitter and Facebook are normally functioning but I close them and open them again and they appear in 1/4 of the screen again. This only happens with this apps

Have you tried a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears? If that does not work, restore using the recovery mode following the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Camera not working, Facebook, twitter and foursquare doesnt work too

Hi, I have a few problems with my Blackberry Z10. It is a brand new phone and I just used it for less than 2 weeks.
Issue 1:
The camera sometimes is not working. The back camera. It occurred 3 times in less than 2 weeks. First time, it say unable to start camera. Second and third time, it keeps asking me to close the camera application as it is still in use. I already close everything. I need to restart phone to fix it.
Issue 2:
Facebook message cannot be sent using the Facebook apps for Blackberry. When I try to send a msg, everything seems normal. It will display "Sending..." then "Sent at [time]". I thought it was sent but when I check my Facebook from my laptop, the msg is not delivered. When I refresh my Facebook in my phone, the message gone missing. It is not lagging or sending msg out slow, it cannot be sent at all without any error message.
Issue 3:
Twitter and Foursquare do not sync up with Blackberry Hub. For Twitter, I need to manually refresh to see the update. For Foursquare, it does not sync up at all. At the Hub, it displays "No entries in this view", even I refresh many times, set the app to Auto-Sync or even restart my phone. Does not help at all.
My phone details:
Blackberry Z10
OS Version: 10.1.0.2773
Facebook version: 10.2.1.13
Twitter Version: 10.2.0.1
Foursquare Version: 10.2.0.235

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.
Regarding your Camera issue, remove your battery for 5 seconds. Reinsert it and after your device reboots, launch your Camera. Does it work? Does the error return?
As for your Facebook messages, to clarify you are in the Facebook app itself composing the message? If so, what happens when you go to the Hub>Compose>Facebook and select the contact? Does the message send?
For your Foursquare issue, since you added your Foursquare, has anyone commented on your check-ins? Liked them? Made a friend request?
For Twitter, delete your account then reboot. Readd your Twitter account. Do your mentions and DMs now show in the Hub?
