Twitter App keeps showing badge

I've got a problem with my Twitter app on my Iphone 5c - it's updated.
My Twitter app keeps showing a notification badge on the Twitter app, even when I have no notifications.
I've messed around with the notification settings, removed my account and added it again
And it still has a badge saying I have 4 , 5 or 8 notifications
How do I repair this?

Well, the standard troubleshooting steps for the iPhone are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. If nothing changes after that, then you will need to work with Twitter.

Tap and hold an app until they all start jiggling and an X appears in the icon's top left corner. One by one tap the X to delete the app. when they are all gone you are free to buy them again with your own account.

My email app keeps showing connecting. It's jammed

My email app on my iPad2 keeps showing connecting at the bottom left of the screen. It is jammed.
This started to happen after my workplace disabled access to the corporate WIFI for all personal iPads. Is there a link to this?

Try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.

A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Deleted apps keep showing up on iPhone again [after unselecting in iTunes]

I've bought some apps I decided that I don't want on my iphone, so I deleted them.
After syncing with iTunes, they appeared on the phone again, so I followed advice here and unchecked the individual apps from the Sync Applications screen in iTunes -- which is set to sync Selected Applications.
A few days later, I plug the phone in again and all the unchecked apps show up on my iPhone again. This keeps happening. Is there a way to get rid of these unwanted apps without deleting them from iTunes?

I have figure out what is causing this issue I believe. I have a macbook pro which I use to sync my iPhone. I also have a Mac Pro that I will occasionally hook my iphone up too so it can charge. I have my phone set NOT to automatically sync for this reason. However when I plug it into either machine the sync comes up for some reason and normally does once for a longer period and then again yet if you look in iTunes it doesn't show that it's synching. I use to always cancel it because I was afraid it would mess up my phone. I one day decided... I wonder if that's what's causing the application issue. so I stopped canceling it and just letting it do it's thing and I didn't have the issue. Well one day I accidentally canceled it because someone sent me a text and I wasn't paying attention... and guess what? I had the issue with all the applications wanting to be put back on the phone!!!

A third party app keeps showing in my podcast app even after restoring as a new phone. Why?

A third party app that I've used for a long time through iTunes to download a specific podcast not available through the iTunes store has gotten a bit messed up. I've used this for 3+ years with no problem. Lately though the name of the podcast will show up as an empty folder even though I've downloaded and synced it up. The episodes may stay for about 24 hours but then the app disappears from inside of iTunes and all the episodes are deleted. I've removed the app, reinstalled it, etc., and the same thing happens. I restored the phone from a back up, same problem. I even set the phone up as new and this same empty folder was on the iPhone immediately. That I don't understand...how is that even possible?
I'm not sure why wiping the phone and setting up as new made the folder appear. Not sure what role, if any, iCloud plays in seeing this sort of app?

I solved this through a combo of reinstalling the app and removing it but the real kicker is to make sure to go into the iPhone if you have any phantom podcasts and go to settings/general/usage/manage storage and see what is there for podcasts. Delete it from this location to start over. I found this file was larger than justified compared to what was in the podcast folder. Somehow this had gotten corrupted.
I'm sharing in case others need a solution. Of course, the one respondent on here already knew this info so this is for all the other folks out there.

App keep showing up in update after I have deleted it from ipad

free app GPS Drive Motion X is giving me problems. I cannot delete it from ipad. when I do delete it it soon shows up as an update in the app store a few minutes later . Please help. I have the 3rd generation ipad. I have reset my ipad using the home button and power button and that didn't help either.

Android apps keep showing up in background despite having permission turned off

When I start Taskmanager I keep finding these random Android apps running that have no permission to do so in the background OR as minimized apps. I keep having to close them. A few minutes later, one or more of them are running again. These are apps, not background processes. I've checked app permissions have have turned off "run minimized" and they don't have "run in background" settings.   I have rebooted many times and they keep popping up. BB 10.3.1, Bell, Z30, up to date.

I use the Advanced Task Manager Free from the Amazon app store, and set it on a kill backgound apps every XX minutes (mine is set to 30, I think).

My video app keeps showing a blank screen

After updating to the iOs 4.3.5, my iPad 1 started to experience lagging in my default videos application. Recently it stopped working completely and shows a blank black screen whenever I open it, can anyone please help thank you!

Windows Phone 8.1 app keep showing the old version update after the latest one

Recently I just update my app named "TimeKit" (v1.2.2.0), then I start notices that some of the phone will get the old version(v1.2.1.8) update detail on the store, even I try to check from the windows phone website, but it will switch between
the latest version(v1.2.2.0) and old version sometimes, but some of the phone will be fine after a few times(not sure). My own phone always get this problem, not only my own app, also for others app, one of the app was the "Lumia Camera", so
I decided to reset my phone, after reset all the problems are gone, but the same problem appeared to my app again. Also I update another update for my app(v1.2.2.3), still the same. Is it a problem for the store in US region currently, because I try for
others country and works fine.

I can take a couple of days for the update to replicate across all the servers.

What's new app keep showing "updated"

Whenever I press the "Refresh " button of Software
Update function, there's always prompt "What's new updated " message even I already uploaded the app.
Tried to clear its cache and force stop and reinstall the app but still the same.

Updated apps keep showing on the updates screen.

I updated my iPad to iOS7. It found 9 updates that need to be done. Now they wont clear. They just sit there giving me the option to open them. How do I get the screen to be empty again so I can just see what needs to updated still?

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.
if there is a problem before the update, then updating will not solved.
If no joy, restore from backup using iTunes.
Lastly, restore as new without the backup.

Most apps keep not responding

I was using Mountain Lion, but it cannot play the music in iTunes. It shows it's playing, but there's no sound and the progress bar is not moving. Then i brought it to Apple Care in mu country. The sales reinstalled the OS. Then it was working fine. Not so long after that, i upgraded to Mavericks. I don't use this Macbook Pro often. I installed BitTorrent, it cannot start, the apps keep showing not responding, but when i start BitTorrent in safe mode, it works normally, when i started it again in normal mode, it keeps showing not responding. This condition is the same like Macgo Player, VLC, DiVX player and some other apps, mostly video player. Because when i double-click the video file, the VLC only shows the playlist, when i click play, it froze. Or when i clicked the VLC and click file-open it froze too. When i installed Macgo Player and DiVX player, it was installed successfully, but when i started it, it won't start and keeps saying apps is not responding!
I am stressed with this error because i cannot use this MacBook Pro normally. Help needed. Thanks.

Would the Apache port be defined in the $APPL_TOP/admin/SID_NAME.xml file or is it in a different location?It should be set in the application context file and in Apache config files (if you have run AutoConfig recently).
I have compared the old .xml file to the new one and the ports all seem to be the same, 8115 is listed as oprocmgr_port and only used once. This is the same in the new and old files.
How would I verify that nothing else is using that port from the command line?Use netstat and/or rpcinfo commands to verify this.
