Twitter io 6 integration not sending tweets

The problem started 2 days ago. I can't send tweets via the twitter integration (when you swipe down and click on "tap to tweet") on my iPhone 5. The problem is only when trying to send tweets that include emoticons/emoji. I've tried restarting the phone, deleting the app and signing out of twitter from the "settings" section. Help!?

Cannot send tweet?

I use an iPhone 4S with the latest version of iOS 6. I can share to Twitter from the "photos" app just fine but when I try to share a photo to Twitter from iPhoto I get the error message "Cannot Send Tweet, The tweet "xxxxxx" cannot be sent because the connection to Twitter failed".
It is not my internet connection as I can switch to another app and tweet just fine. When I look in the Twitter settings in the Settings app there is no option to enable iPhoto.
I tried a couple of weeks ago and just gave up but now I'm really frustrated because I want to be able to tweet directly from iPhoto without having to do the workaround of exporting to the main library and creating a mess.
Super grateful for any ideas.

I had to go back into Twitter app from Settings and verify my Twitter account password. Once I did that I was able to post picture from iPhoto app to my Twitter account.

Blackberry curve (8300) is adding a 1 to phone number in SMS?? will not send message?

I get an error message saying that I need to resend the message w/ a proper 10 digit number... Which I have in my address book, but then the phone will add an extra 1 to the #, making it 11 characters, and thus not sending messages.... I have looked through both phone and SMS options and have found nothing that helps.. I have turned off the country code in phone options, resent the SMS, and still had the same problem. then I took the area code off and the same thing still happened. Please help b/c I cannot text my gf at the moment????!!!
also, it adds a 1 to only certain phone numbers. i can text almost everybody else just fine, apart from like 3-4 people.

Animated GIF in twitter app on Z30 not displayed

When using the Blackberry twitter app and click on a tweet with an animated gif all I get is a blank screen. This used to work but just recently stopped.
Any suggestions?

All of a sudden this morning my iphone will not send imessages from my phone number but only from my email address. When I go to the settings for my imessages to choose where they are coming from my phone number is greyed out....Is there a way to fix this

Hmm, that is strange that your phone number is greyed out. There are a few things that we can try. First would be to turn iMessages off, then back on. See if you are able to select your phone number. Then if that doesn't work, turn iMessages back off, then reset the network settings....settings>general>reset>reset network settings, this will reboot the phone. Don't worry, it won't delete anything from the phone, it simulates a battery pull. Once the device comes back on, then turn iMessages back on. Keep us posted if that works!

I have iphone 5 and can not send a text to one person who has iphone 4s and on same family plan

I have an iphone 5... and also a family plan. I can not send a text to my daughter on the same plan. She has an iphone 4s. I have tried mulitiple things to get this to work.... It started about 10 days ago... I have delete text stream for her and any group messages. Also her contact in contacts. Also readded her contact with area code....then with 1 ...then just with 1... All rebooting in between each new thing i did... Checked to see if sms is turned on ..yes and turned it off... turned of imessages and back on... rebooting in between. Also signed out of and back into apple id. Also with reboots... did a soft reset. Upgraded to ios 8 about 2 days ago... And a few times in last 10 days i could send for a few hours then it was gone again...... VERY frustrated at this point....Also i can text many others including iphones and so can she....

Thank you for reaching out to us, labrylao4. Regarding the issues with messaging, is this affecting only SMS, iMessages, or both? When you or her try to send each other messages, do you receive any error messages while it is sending? If it is for iMessages, have you tried to send while connected to WiFi?

WRT300N does not sends out WLAN signal to card WPC300N ???

Another WRT300N problem
It seems that my router does not send out a signal...
I did update to the latest fimware, all security like MAC, key, firewall etc are disabled, ssid broadcast is enabled, so there are no restrictions no more
LAN intenet connection is no problem, that's the way i work now.
When i scan with the linksys wireless network monitor V.1.09, i cannot trace the router, neither with xp and the integrated wifi card from my notebook.
However just a few times the router flipped on the network monitor, but when i tried to connect , it didn't work : no association with acces point...duh....
A few seconds later he was lost again...
I also tried all channels even auto settings.
I do not know what to do or try for the moment to make the router send out his signal.
Anyone any idea or had the same problem ???

Hi…I think you have already tried everything on your router, now uninstall the wireless card WLAN utility and reinstall only drivers for your wireless card, through found new hardware wizard. Or you can even download the latest drivers from website and install them.

Outgoing mail does not send, times out

I have two macs, one wireless and the other connected by ethernet to the internet both through a DSL modem. There are two users, each has an account on each mac. Each user has a yahoo plus mail account. I have been using Tiger and OS X mail without trouble since last year. Mail is setup to work with the Yahoo server as a POP server. The arrangement is nice since all mail stays on the server and is accessible from any internet site anywhere. In addition, there is the tight integration with OSX from Mail.
Recently one user could not send from the wireless mac. The other user could. Reading mail was OK. Performance on the ethernet mac was OK. Creating a new user and directing that user to the POP account allowed sending.
I tried alot of things as sugggested in some of the other topics here, including the drastic move of deleting the mail folder in the affected user's library and setting up a new account.
It turned out the problem was fixed by re specifying the outgoing mail server in the mail preferences. The server was incorrectly specified as smpt.mail.yahoo.com. The correct specification is smtp....
I had presumed I had made the dyslexic typo error when re establishing the account info on the affected mac.
However, about a week later, the other user account on the other mac behaved the same way. In fact, the outgoing server specification had the same error of smpt...
Once changing back to smtp... all was well, even with reboots and the other users logged off. The fix was simply to add the correct outgoing server URL, select it as the one to use and delete the incorrect one.
Explanation? I can think of two possiblities:
1)the error was always present in these two Mail account specifications on just those macs and the service that interprets the URL allowed it, but changed recently so it would not accomodate the error.
2)something changed the URL, but I can't think of how I could possibly have done it in the second instance. Is there anyway some kind of virus would cause this trouble?
So, I offer this tale in case someone else is experiencing the same difficulty. Judging from some of the other threads in the forum this may be a help.

It could not have been caused by a virus, since there are no viruses for Mac OS X. I would guess it was a typo when you first setup the account, and when you set it up again, a user may have gone to Preferences and selected the Outgoing mail server drop down menu and inadvertently selected the typo'd server entry.

I iphone 4 is not sending texts to my friends and family with iphones. The blue messages are not going through. My green messages are going through. Help!

My Ipone is not sending text messages. i can recieve the messages, but my replies are not being sent.. this seems to only be an issue to sendin to other iphones. Welcome to the Verizon family, ivpacks! I regret to learn that your alarms didn't work. I also regret that there is a problem with the messages. Have you tried the alarm again? Does it still not work? For instance, just set the alarm for a couple of minutes away to ensure that the alarm goes off.
When you send a text, do you get an error? If you power the phone off/on, do the messages send? This particular issue is expecting a software update to resolve the issue with texts and picture messages.
I believe that you have chosen a great device, but keep in mind that there is a 14 day exchange period. If you exchange for the same make/model, you will not pay the restocking fee.
If you do exchange for a different make/model, there is a $35.00 restocking fee.

BB Torch 9800 - MSN messages not sending

Hi,
Does anyone know why my MSN messages are not sending? I'm with Rogers, and have full 3G coverages. I can receive messages, but not send. The other person does not see my message. I've tried redownloading and restarting my BB. It doesn't work.

Welcome to the forums.
Does this happen with all messages you try to send to all contacts? Are you using Windows Live Messenger or are you using another application to send these messages? Do you get any kind of error message?
You can try changing your password and then log out and back in to see if that works.
Let us know how you make out.

IPhone4 will not send or receive calls after ios 7 upgrade

I upgraded both of my iPhone4 to the new ios7, and then 7.0.2 and mine will not send or receive calls inside my apartment but the otherone will. I tried everything but VooDoo. Reset all date, reinstalled the software in iTunes, and set-up as a new iPhone but nothing. Freaky thing is the replacement Verizon sent today has the same issues. Anyone know why?

Phone will not send or receive any text messages

My Samsung Illusion will not send or receive text messages but the calling feature still works. I've tried all of the troubleshooting techniques, including a hard factory reset, yet the messenger still won't work. Any suggestions??

IPhone 4 not sending/receiving texts to/from non-iPhone

Hello,
I am on a shared plan with my mother. Thursday afternoon my mom updated our plan and suddenly my phone was not sending or receiving text messages to non-iPhones. iMessage is working just fine, thus I can only talk to people with iPhones. It fairly closely correlated to the IOS update so I updated my phone and that didn't help.
I have tried resetting network setting, hard reset, toying with message settings, *228 options 1 AND 2 etc... and still nothing is working. Please help! I run a business and can not afford to not be able to be in contact with half my contacts!

Let's get your messages flowing again! Thanks for the doing the troubleshooting you have done so far. I know that running a business with a fully functional phone is needed. I have a couple things for you to try. First, turn off iMessage, power cycle your phone and keep iMessage off; try sending messages. To run a good test, send the message to your self and please put "1" in front of your number. Also, another step to try is turn off iMessage, then reset network settings, then turn it on and try again. These have been some successful steps. Please keep us posted.

Thank you for the information. Do you get an error message when you try to send picture messages? If so, what does it say? Are regular text sending fine? Can you try to send a picture message to yourself and see if it goes through. Please keep us updated and we will figure out what is going on.
