Twitter not working on Z30

Just wanted to ask anyone whether anyone is experiencing the same issue. I just got the new Z30 and tried to log into the twitter app and couldn't. I can't create an account under the accounts sections and I can't log into the app as a result.

twitter is working fine for me but there was an oiutage a few days ago

Try this code. I took it from an InDesign CS5.5 demo. It does not force you to create a live web page.
Copy the code to an html file (change the Twitter feed from AdobeDigitalPub to whatever you want).
Create a box in InDesign 250 px wide (that's what the Twitter div is in the code) Link to the file in the Folio Overlays / Web Content panel.
It is not a widget, so you have to style the content yourself, but you do not need to have the code on a web page.

Adding code just drives me crazy. When you copy the code below it seems to insert a space or return in the word callback between the c and k after the word AdobeDigitalPub.json? Just remove it so it reads "AdobeDigitalPub.json?callback" and everything should work fine...

Share via email & twitter not working on iOS7

When I try to share via email in Safari the email never sends. I enter an email address that I know works, and it looks like it's sending but it never ends up in my mailbox. I've shared via email successfully from other apps (like Pocket) and I've checked the spam folder but the email doesn't appear to have ever actually been sent.
Oddly I also cannot send via Twitter from Safari or Pocket, both give me a "connection failed" error.
This has been happening since I got an iPhone 5c (running ios7) to which I restored the data & settings from my iPhone 4 running ios6).
Help!

Mail and Twitter not working

Hi all,
I'm having issues with setting up my mail and twitter account. I folllowed all instructions for mail but the imap server appears to be offline. Also when I open notification centre and try to tweet, it sends me to system preferences to set up my twitter account. I type my user name and password but it says they're incorrect although I use them to log on the site.
What do u suggest I do?

Facebook and Twitter Posts not Working in Notification Center??!

Ok right now I am REALLY confused. About a week ago, I went to post something on twitter. Naturally, instead of having to go to twitter.com and signing in, I used the Notification center "Click to Tweet" button to make my post. It worked just as you would expect. The little screen popped up, I typed my post and tweeted it.
Just a few days ago, both the Tweet and Facebook Post buttons stopped working. I can click on them all I want, but the little index card-like screen never shows up. I don't know what the issue is, since I had both buttons working a few days ago. To try solving the issue I:
1. Went into the settings for notifications and "Hid" the buttons from Notification center (that didn't work)
2. Removed both my accounts from my laptop and re-added them (that didn't work)
3. Checked to see that the password was correctly typed in... it was (and that still didn't work)
The only thing I have left to do is try shutting down my laptop and restarting it. However I recently had some iPhoto software updates that required the laptop to be restarted. Even though this was after the problem started, it still didn't fix it.
One more thing to note is that in Safari where the "Share" button is... that still works fine. I shared a website I was on to Facebook and it posted successfully. The only problem is the functions in Notification Center.
If anybody has a solution to this issue where the Tweet and Facebook Post buttons stop functioning for Notification center, I would really appreciate it. Thanks

NOTE- One other thing. Notifications from Facebook and Twitter still work, however. For instance, I just got a friend request approved on Facebook and that appeared as it should with the little banner notification as well as it appearing in my list of notifications. Somebody re-tweated my tweet and that appeared there too. The only thing that isn't working is the posting features.

First, I would eject whatever it is that you downloaded. Go to Finder and eject it that way or depending how you have your system set up, do the two finger tap and Eject it. Download the link above. Once it downloads, double click it to install it. It should work. If it doesn't you need to use your Disk Utility to check for errors. Click your Finder again and then Applications. Scroll down to Utilities and then Disk Utility. Click on your hard drive and you will get a menu of items on the right side. Towards the bottom, you will see a button to Verify Disk Permissions. Click that and let it run. It may take a few minutes to finish. Once it's finished there may be a list of things wrong with your system. Click the Repair Permissions and let the computer do it's thing. Use Disk Utility at least once a month to make sure everything is in order on your system. If this doesn't fix it, I don't have any other suggestions. I'd hate to say do a fresh install but that might be the next step if this doesn't work.
Something else to consider is that is if you use Time Machine and the system did work at one point, you could go back to the last known good point and reinstall that back-up. You would lose anything you have saved since that point (obviously). If you take steps to back up your information, that should not be an issue. (For me), Time Machine works as advertised. If you are not backing system up regularly, shame on you. You need to start ASAP backing up. It's an easy process and it's times like you are having now, that make the small preventive maintenance, worth extra time and effort.

Camera not working, Facebook, twitter and foursquare doesnt work too

Hi, I have a few problems with my Blackberry Z10. It is a brand new phone and I just used it for less than 2 weeks.
Issue 1:
The camera sometimes is not working. The back camera. It occurred 3 times in less than 2 weeks. First time, it say unable to start camera. Second and third time, it keeps asking me to close the camera application as it is still in use. I already close everything. I need to restart phone to fix it.
Issue 2:
Facebook message cannot be sent using the Facebook apps for Blackberry. When I try to send a msg, everything seems normal. It will display "Sending..." then "Sent at [time]". I thought it was sent but when I check my Facebook from my laptop, the msg is not delivered. When I refresh my Facebook in my phone, the message gone missing. It is not lagging or sending msg out slow, it cannot be sent at all without any error message.
Issue 3:
Twitter and Foursquare do not sync up with Blackberry Hub. For Twitter, I need to manually refresh to see the update. For Foursquare, it does not sync up at all. At the Hub, it displays "No entries in this view", even I refresh many times, set the app to Auto-Sync or even restart my phone. Does not help at all.
My phone details:
Blackberry Z10
OS Version: 10.1.0.2773
Facebook version: 10.2.1.13
Twitter Version: 10.2.0.1
Foursquare Version: 10.2.0.235

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone.
Regarding your Camera issue, remove your battery for 5 seconds. Reinsert it and after your device reboots, launch your Camera. Does it work? Does the error return?
As for your Facebook messages, to clarify you are in the Facebook app itself composing the message? If so, what happens when you go to the Hub>Compose>Facebook and select the contact? Does the message send?
For your Foursquare issue, since you added your Foursquare, has anyone commented on your check-ins? Liked them? Made a friend request?
For Twitter, delete your account then reboot. Readd your Twitter account. Do your mentions and DMs now show in the Hub?

Fingerprint Utility on Portege Z30-A-12Q is not working

I need help regarding this issue :
I performed a fresh windows 8.1 install, the same version as before, but this time i chose UEFI over BIOS. When i used BIOS the fingerprint sensor was working fine, but now it says "Failed to connect to the sensor".
I am using Toshiba Portege Z30-A-12Q i5-4200 256 GB SSD, or the PT243E model. I searched the forums and i found a issue similar with another Toshiba R product which was resolved by adding a firewall exception.
I added fingerprint utility in firewall exception, even disabled firewall all the way, but still the same problem. Also in device manager i have under Biometric devices Validity Sensors (WBF) (PID=0010).
I also checked in BIOS to see if it it enabled and it is.
The only thing i changed in BIOS are Secureboot (made it on) and chose CSM (for UEFI), but i think these settings have no relevance to the problem since they are used for booting.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver 3 times.
Please help me with this problem.

I have exactly the same problem with a Portg R30A-19Q.
Changed over from Win 7 to Win 8.1 (one of the worst decisions in my life ! What a disappointment !
Productivity down by a factor 3 or 4 ! But this is another subject !).
Tried to reinstall the fingerprint recognition, which did not accept my fingerprints (because "already used on another account").
Called French technical support, who recommended uninstalling the fingerprint recognition software, which would erase my previous Win 7 fingerprints, left over in the BIOS.
Then after reinstalling the software, it did not work any better.
Called again technical support, who gave me a "confidential" link to a fingerprint clean up software, that would remove the fingerprints left over in the BIOS.
This did not work either, because the installation could not find ATWBFClient.dll.
Called again technical support, and was told that there was no other solution than reinstalling Win7, then erasing my fingerprints under Win 7, then reinstalling Win 8.1, and recreating new fingerprints ! What a nightmare !
If anything can be done Under Win 8.1, I shall try ten times !

Twitter share button in notification center not working?

I finally got my code for my free upgrade to Mountain Lion... I updated my computer last night and everything seems to be working well. Other than the fact that they decided to leave the Facebook integration out without saying anything until last minute (that's the feature I was really looking forward to). But anyway I woke up this morning and I went to send a tweet from the notification center. The button is there but when I click it nothing happens. I've removed my twitter account and readded it. i checked the box to remove the share button and readded. I restarted my computer twice and nothing... Anyone have any ideas?

I know the ans...first install os x mountain lion again above all your installation..then see the build it should be.. Icloud and twitter button gone grey not working

You need to turn off the restriction you've set to allow changes to accounts in:
Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allow Changes:) > Accounts

Twitter API and Edge Animate not working

I have watched great video about using Twitter API in Edge Animate on Adobe TV and I thought I would give it a go.
I followed the steps and unfortunately it's not working for me.... Not even an error message when tested in a browser, nothing...

When did this issue start to happen? Are you using the inbuilt Twitter app, or a downloaded one? Are you able to log into your Twitter account using the mobile browser or a PC?
Try to clear the phone's browsing history by going to Browser > slide the toggle screen up > More > Settings > Clear data. Try also to restart your phone. After that, log into your Twitter account and see if it'll be accepted by the device. Note that account usernames and passwords are case-sensitive.
If it's a downloaded Twitter app, try also to remove and reinstall it from the Store.
Let us know the outcome.

Portg Z30-A-108 - Num lock does not work on external keyboard

Hi,
We have a Portg Z30-A-108. We use it with external wireless keyboard and mouse. On the external keyboard is used, the num pad does not work (as if the "num lock" was off). I tried using the function key FN+F11 on the laptop but without any succes.
Does somebody had the same problem or any idea to solve it ?

You are talking about the external keyboard.
But from my knowledge the internal Portg Z30-A-108 keyboard does not contain the num pad. Possibly this is the reason why the Num Lock is turned off.
By the way: the NumLock can be enabled in the system registry.
Open Windows registry editor using the command regedit.
In the registry, go to the folders.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Control Panel\ Keyboard\
Within the keyboard folder, you should find a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2.
Here the value meaning:
0 = Num Lock is turned OFF after the logon.
1 = Disable Num Lock.
2 = Numlock is turned ON after the logon.
