TWITTER NOTIFICATION PROBLEM!

My twitter notifications aren't working, every time I get a mention, or interaction, or even a direct message on twitter I don't find out until I look on twitter manually? Why is it doing this? I want it to work RIGHT!

Hi there.
Despite having my Twitter notification preferences set to 'following' I am still receiving them for 'all users'. Anyone know if this is a software issue and/or if there is a fix? I have the latest version, 4.4.0.11

How to get Twitter @ notification on my iPhone 5?

Hi,
I'm not getting any Twitter notification on my iPhone, mainly on the lock screen.
I've enabled all notifications, deleted the app and re-installed, turned the phone off and on again but still nothing!
When someone @ mentions or sends me a direct message, I don't get any notifications on the lock screen, and only see it when I actually go on the Twitter app!
Anyone else had this problem?
How do I fix it?

exact same problem, it stopped yesterday afternoon and i have done EVERYTHING i can think of to try get it working again but it wont, i think my facebook notifications arent working either but i use facebook mesenger so it isnt as bad, help

Instagram and twitter notification

Hello, I have an iPhone 5 and since when I bought it (5 mounths ago) I see that my instagram and twitter notification don't desappear from notification center (even if I already saw them). I have to delete them manually clicking on the "x" button.
I unistalled end reinstalled the application but the problem is still there....

these apps like instagram, twitter or snapchat are 3rd party apps not by apple they have this notification issue in their side of programming in app development. so no any issue in iphone or ios or apple. we have to mannually close "x" those notifactions, not any other options mate. just chill pill untill the app developers got their issue and clear it

Can't get twitter notifications

I can't get the twitter notifications to work (facebook and mail work).
And everytime I go to twitter.com with Safari, it's asking me if I accept to share it with OSX software.
Anyone has any idea ?

Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/LIbrary/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Click Go the move the Cache.db file from the com.apple.Safari folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari. Try twitter.com

For some reason my twitter notifications are not working anymore. I've turned my phone on and off so many times, deleted the twitter app and reinstalled it numerous times, checked my notifications settings on both my phone and twitter app and they still ain't working which is really annoying. Plus twitter support is no help whatsoever, does anyone have any ways it can be fixed?

How can I get twitter notifications on my iphone 5

I can't access the Twitter notifications I receive on my iPhone 5. I get them on the lock screen, and there's a red dot with a number on my Twitter icon, but when I open Twitter, there's nothing under "Notifications". What gives? I was trying to customize so I don't get tons of spam tweets and I guess I turned something off? I used to be able to access the info.

Have you gone to the Twitter website and updated your notification settings there?

Twitter Update Problem

Seems I have a Twitter Update problem. 1. I have no pirated software on my computer either from the App Store or anywhere else. 2. I did buy a set off templates for iWork through the App Store with my Bosses Apple ID (it's for work). Is that really the problem. That's ridiculous. The apple ID is mine, as is much of the software, but it's a computer use for work. If this is true it makes the App Store a lot less useful.

my apologies I was so annoyed. I didn't bother to state my issue. The issue is: Twitter is constantly asking to be updated. Even after it's updated. Even if it's deleted. I looked at the forums for a solution and found that people were having this problem who installed pirated app store apps.
I am logged into the app store on my account. All but one of the apps on my machine that come from the app store are on my account. However there is one piece of software on my account that I purchased, by logging out and logging in with her ID, purchasing it, installing and logging out, and again logging in as myself. I don't have an issue with that app. However Twitter, which was installed under my username, constantly says it needs to be updated. Hope that makes it clearer.

I reset my iPhone 4 Network settings to fix the push notification problem, but I lost my internet connection. How do I fix it?

I tried to solve the "connect to iTunes to receive push notifications"-problem by resetting my network settings, but it only caused me to lose my internet connection when using 3G. Now I can't do anything with this stupid phone. How do I fix it? I don't want to reset anything anymore, I'm sick of this new iOs update, it seriously messed up my phone and I can't do anything properly anymore. Any help?
And btw, I would also like to get the push notifications back on. Connecting to iTunes did absolutely nothing. Resetting the network settings only made my situation worse. Help please!

Ahh The iPhone isn't "stupid" it's been called "stupid" because you are frustrated at the situation , but try
Load iTunes. Backup your phone. Make sure it is backed up !! Run restore. This will get rid of the error! And please what ever you do , do not skip the back up!

Do you need the original Twitter App to get Twitter notifications in your notifications center?

Just upgraded but I have not used the original twitter application in a while, I found a better one (Tweetlist). Do I need to have the original app on the phone in order to get the Twitter notifications in Notifications Center or will the notifications come through anyway as I have already integrated my account into the phone settings itself?

Yes, of course you need rights, for any content you wish to use - photos, artwork, music, text, everything - unless you created said content yourself. If you can't afford the rights to the photos you want to use, don't use them. Find photos, as Dave suggested, in the public domain or with a Creative Commons license that allows your use , or different photos with a lower licensing fee, or take your own photos. Note that if you take photos of people, you'll need model release forms from every person whose photo you wish to use.

Twitter notifications keep re-downloading

I got my Z10 about a month ago, and since day one I've been receiving notifications for Mentions that I've already viewed and deleted on my old 9900. At first I thought it was just showing me cached Mentions from my account once, and they would disappear after being opened and deleted. I still get new Mentions, which is good, but every time I delete a Mention notification, it comes back again after less than an hour. I've got all the latest updates and software and have tried deleting and re-installing the Twitter app, as well as leaving my BB off overnight. Nothing works, and my service provider's technical department have no idea how to fix this. Please help; it's costing me a fortune in data.

HT5362 Twitter Notifications To Appear In Mac Notifications

Hey,
I've recently purchased a new Macbook Pro and have been configuring all the settings and notifications etc.
However I want my Twitter Notifications to appear as a banner whenever a Twitter account (that I have mobile notifications turned on for) makes a tweet. This is known as mobile notifications when you're on the Twitter website or phone app. It looks like this:
Is there a way to do this? (Growl??)
I've already added my Twitter/Facebook accounts to the social media panel of the widgets so I can send quick tweets etc. And I receive the notifications of when people tweet me.

RIM Twitter for BlackBerry Internal Twitter server problem error message

I have had this issue previously, it went away and now it's back; and can I remember how I fixed it... no.
I have a Bold 9700 running 5.0.0.680 and Twitter for Blackberry 1.0.1.7
Since updating to 5.0.0.680 I have been unable to login to Twitter via RIM's Twitter application. I receive the error message "Internal Twitter server problem."
I have tried the following to resolve;
Multiple battery pulls - no change
Flash back to 5.0.0.586 - no change
Flash back to 5.0.0.442 - no change
After flashing I have performed a full security wipe of the device to be sure its clean.
I am able to use UberTwitter and other social networking applications without any issues.
My BlackBerry is controlled via my companies BES. The Server version is 5.0.1 and I can confirm that the Value-added application policy is installed and has 'Disable organizer data access for social networking applications' set to No and 'Disable RIM Value-Added Applications' set to No for the policy applied to my device.
I am also one of the Administrators of this server.
What I would like to know is how to solve this issue. A search of the internet revels a number of similar issues, but these where apparently down to an issue with Twitter not the software. As I am able to access Twitter with no issues via other clients and see no issues reported on the status feed from Twitter I have run out of ideas.
I have also fired up a number of the BB simulators on a development machine and have been able to access Twitter via a simulated BlackBerry without an issues; making me think this is either a BES, device, or carrier issue.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Are you still having trouble connecting to Twitter for BlackBerry?
Since you're on a BES just to do process of elimination, I would suggest performing a reset to factory so that will remove the IT policy. Follow the instructions in this KB article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB18998
Then test out logging into Twitter, if successful then we know it is it policy related. If you still receive the same error, let me know.

When i receive a twitter notification there is no sound

when i receive a twitter notification there is no sound at all i think this is will happen with mail too i need someone to just explain what is goin on ?

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.
