Twitter widget in Captivate 7 not working

I am using Captivate 7 to add the twitter widget to a course. I can publish it with no problem, however, it won't allow me to generate a pin. . When I click on the button "Generate PIN" it comes back with a message: "To disable twitter functionality, close window. To enable it, click Generate Pin". When I click it again nothing happens. When I click the red X to close the window, the course continues without the twitter widget.
I am not using preview. All files are published to a server.
I am using Windows
I tried Chrome and IE11

Twitter Widget for iWeb not working

Sorry if this answer has already been asked. I am creating a website using iWeb. I wanted to add my twitter account to it so I went to Twitter and went through their widget maker, customized it, copied the html code, pasted in the iWeb html widget box, and it worked great. Now, all of the sudden none of my twitter account widgets are working in iWeb. Anyone else having this problem?

widget: "screenshot plus", not working in leopard. another bug? kids digital camera opens iphoto but doesnt appear on desktop to eject w/out errors. another bug? if i havnt registered leopard yet, can i sell it, cuz i think i might not want it now.

These aren't bugs, they are 3rd party issues that are not Apple's responsibility. Whomever wrote the widget needs to update it for Leo. The camera manufacturer needs to update their hardware driver to be Leo compatible.
I'm sure someone will take Leo off you hands for a better price than elsewhere. It's a great OS.

Widget Browser Does Not Work

I have the Adobe CC Suite and Dreamweaver CS5.5 and everything is included, however whenever I'm making a webpage and I'm trying to use the widget browser it does not work. I have tried re-installing Dreamweaver and the wideget browser and it does not work, I am signed into Adobe Exchange and everything. I looked at all the other forums about this and none of thos solutions worked out for me. I also could not find the Widget Browser forum so I posted it here because they are intergrated!
And help would be great!

You don't need a widget for this. HTML5 <video> is a web standard supported by all modern browsers/devices. Simply copy & paste the following code into a new, blank document. Change sample videos to your own.

Trial Captivate not working

I was somewhat embarrased today. I touted Captivate as the direction we should go in our elearning efforts. I proposed to download the trial version and produce an 8 slide proof-of-concept of the 8 hour course we are tasked with building. It will rely heavily on recorded audio instruction with matching closed captions. We were able to put an audio clip on a slide but the dialog and controls you would use to apply closly timed closed captions simply would not work. The simplest thing such as play a preview of the audio file would not work. Please don't think it was operator error because my neighbor turned me on to the app and let me practice with his the night before I showed it to my bosses. Thus I know how to work the app. Also I 'm sure nothing is wrong with the computer or audio system because audio works well with Flash, Camtasia, Dreamweaver, Premiere etc. on that PC.
I hope someone get me working in the right direction because Captivate would be perfect for what we need to do.

Sorry about the lack of detail. Fortunately, and I hope you will agree, Jing is dead simple to use, so you hopefully didn't have too much of an issue with it.
From what the video shows, you are using either Vista or Windows 7. So there are a few things I'll mention.
Are you running Captivate in Administrative mode? On Vista or Windows 7, you get a warning about that when starting Captivate about needing to be in Administrative mode. If you look at the properties of the shortcut that starts Captivate, you should see something like this:
Note that I've also got mine (I'm on Windows 7 64 bit) configured to run in Compatibility mode. I'm not 100% sure the compatibility mode is needed, but thought I'd point it out.
You would also want to download and install the service release for Captivate 4.
So try configuring as stated and see if things improve for you.

Icloud and twitter button gone grey not working

My icloud & twitter button on my ipod touch has gone grey not working how ever it's working fine on my iphon 4 both the devices are ios5 any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

You need to turn off the restriction you've set to allow changes to accounts in:
Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allow Changes:) > Accounts

Widget Bubble Bazinga not working

I cannot get the fun Widget Bubble Bazinga to work; no matter what I try, it says inactive or missing plug-in.
I've tried re-doing the Java plugin about 10 times.
Anyone else solved this problem?

You're best bet for third-party applications is to contact the manufacturer, if assistance in the forums does not produce good results. For the Bubble Bazinga widget, contact the manufacturer Rastaduck. I have emailed them today for this issue as well. Hopefully, they will respond with a solution. When you get to their mail page, there is a Mail option on the left.

Captivate 4 Certicate Widget Email Reporting Not Working

Hello!
I have inserted one of the standard certificate widgets into my Captivate project, and I believe I have everything built correctly, but when I try to email my quiz results, I get the following:
Core Data
"Status","Location","Score","Time"
"completed","2","0","00:00:24"
Does anyone know if this is what the data should look like in the email? Also, I have it set up to send the data in an attachment, but it doesn't attach anything, it just paste it as text in the email. I"m not sure why that is. It would be nice if the widget could attach the 'certificate' and not the raw data, so that you could just print the certificate.
Any help would be appreciated.

    I am facing an issue with adobe captivate swf generation.......
    I have generated an swf presentation using Adobe Captivate 4.
    The generated swf looks as in the above image.
    I searched the in the internet, but couldnt find a proper solution
    The issue is that i have created a swf using adobe CP, with slides from a ppt file.
    All these slides contain audio files attached to it.....
    After publishing, it works well except when clicking on a slide in the Table of Contents
   ( slide number shown in left of above image),
    the   player cannot navigate to the selected slide.
    It was first thought of being an issue related to the buffering of the video.
    But later on came to know that, even after waiting for long, the slide doesnt get played.
    Same is the case when dragged on navigation bar(Shown in the bottom of the above image).
    The enable navigation option is set but still the problem persist....
     Pls help me if u can.....

Perhaps thy this. Click Project > Table of Contents. Then click the Settings button in the lower left corner. Is there a check mark in the "Enable Navigation" check box?
If you see a check mark, clear it. Then dismiss the dialog. Then click the button again and click to place the check mark there. But if there is NOT a check mark, that's the issue. Navigation hasn't been enabled.

Spry.Widget.AutoSuggest is not working (1.6)

Hi Everyone,
I been trying to get the Autosuggest widget to work for a
while now with no result. I have an XML data set created and it is
displaying out the results on my page, however, when it comes to
start the Autosuggest, Firebug catches an error saying that the
Spry.Widget has no properties. And IE7 an expected char ";" in char
5 od that same line.
I wam adding my code, hoping someone can help me out solve
this little bug.

Hi,
if you get that error Spry.Widget has no properties, this
means that the spryAutosuggest.js file is not correctly included in
page. Please check if you have the good path to this js file.

BI Data widget preferences is not working in widget v2.8

I am trying to bring my query results as widget using BI Data Widget verison 2.8 and for that i am changing the widget preferences
as below:
ABAP Host: uphdt02. which is BW system application server.
JAVA Host: uphdt02:8082 which is application server and port number.
ABAP client: BW system client number
incube: infocube name.
query: TESTXCEL.
but not finding my query data on widget pls let me know if the credentials i am providing are wrong .. and how to over come this to get my query result on widget..

Hi Chandra,
Try using the Message Server instead of application server. Once you have specified the details in the configuration or Development Workbench check if the connection test has succeded. If you have problems even after this. Please let me know.

Why is Captivate not working properly in Lectora?

Hello everyone!
I work with Captivate 5 and Lectora Professional Publishing Suite 2010 and I am having trouble making it work correctly. I have made multiple training & assessment simulations in Captivate and have converted them to SWF's but when i put them into Lectora an error occurs. All of them work fine until it comes to a step where you have to press the Tab button. Nothing happens when i press it and I won't be able to continue on with the training or assessment until i press Tab. Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Yes. When I am testing the training in Captivate it goes to the next text box when I press Tab like it should, but when I put it into Lectora, the Tab key doesn't work anymore

Widget yellow-pages not working....

Does anyone out there have this issue?
All of a sudden, my yellow pages widget (something I use all the time) stopped working on my MACBOOK. It works fine on all my other G4s, G5s and dual intel machines; I don't know what to do...
When I uninstall and reinstall it, it comes up looking normal for about 5 seconds, than the search box disappears and is replaced by something that looks like a stack of cards on the yellow back ground; nothing on it works.
Any ideas?

To install the widget, right-click its icon and select Open.
Another way is to open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, click the padlock at the bottom left corner of the System Preferences window and choose "Anywhere" under "Allow applications downloaded from"

Widgets that require web connection not working

Hello,
I have an ongoing issue where widgets that I download that require web connection seem to have trouble doing their job, I recently switched from Safari to Firefox could this have anything to do with it.
More specifically it's an i-tunes album art widget that is not working, is it an itunes upgrade thing?

DNS Servers are a bit like Phone books where you look up a name and it gives you the phone number, in our case, you put in apple.com and it comes back with 17.149.160.49 behind the scenes.
Problems are that many Modems/Routers don't communicate the DNS Servers with macs all that well because they've made mistakes in their Firmware & by golly by gee, they tell MS about the workaround!
Then, many... even major ISPs have DNS problems and may have not even patched them against DNS poisoning!
