Two AC adapters broken in one week (S510P)

After one year, suddenly my ac adapter stopped working... the pc stopped to get the charge from it, the power led on the pc was off. The adapter emitted a constant, rythmic buzz, which wasnt normal.
So i bought a new one, and the pc startes working again.
After exacly one week the new charger is not excepted again.
But this time it does not emit strange noises, just a very low constant buzzing but i guess that could be normal.
What can i do?
I openes my pc to its bones, and removed the DC IN jack, because im starting to think he is the cause, but i ask here before buying a new jack...
I mean, if it was the problem i would expect it or to work sporadically and inconsitwntly, or to stop working completly... this all "week extra" i gained changing the charger makes no sense, i dont know... please help

Heatmiser: This is something of a long shot, but then any other possibility that's occurred to you or occurs to me is at least as long a shot, so humor me and see whether this gets you anywhere.
Apple AC adapters shut down completely when the AC power supply they're connected to is "dirty." The ringlight goes off and no power is delivered to the computer, for any purpose. When that happens, the remedy is to unplug the adapter from the wall outlet for a minute or so, then plug it back in again. This resets the adapter and it usually starts working normally again, until the next time the AC supply gets dirty and the adapter shuts down again. You can read about this in this article (see #2 in the article).
If the ringlight went out on either of your adapters for this reason, and you then connected that adapter to the other laptop without first unplugging it from the wall for a minute, the adapter was still shut down when you plugged it into the second computer, and it obviously wouldn't have behaved any differently with that computer until you unplugged it and plugged it back in again. It seems improbable that you carried out all your tests in just such a way as to insure, purely by chance that both adapters had been shut down by dirty line power and not reactivated before testing with the other computer. But I guess it's possible, and the other explanations that come to mind (both adapters or both computers failing simultaneously, in the same way) are all about equally improbable.

Apple's [service web page|https://selfsolve.apple.com/GetWarranty.do] will tell you your service options. I had a pair of headphones go out on me, they sent me a new pair very quickly. I had to send the old ones back, but not until after they sent me the new ones. Worked out really well.

Since posting the above, I have resolved a sensible work-around in regard to ebookstores which prefer us to have separate accounts for our separate Adobe IDs.
However, I really would appreciate it if anyone here can confirm that a DRM controlled book does actually become associated with a particular Adobe ID account at the time of first download to Digital Editions on that PC/device.
Two large book stores have said using my account with them to download books to our two separate Adobe IDs is OK, but I don't want to find my husband is unable to open his downloaded books.

You should go to a nearest Phone Repairs store near you , and they should be able to help you there ! Otherwhise search online for iPad screen repair and send your device by post to an apple store or to a repair store !

Two MagSafe adapters died

A couple weeks ago, in the middle of using my MBP, I suddenly discovered I was on battery. Investigation showed that the MagSafe was still connected, but the LED on the plug was out. I tried several different outlets, no luck. Pulled out my other adapter, it worked fine. Today, same thing happened with the second one. Neither works now. I had been using them with the same outlet for over a year with no problems. Anyone know what might be causing this?
3-4 years ago, I had almost exactly the same problem with my PowerBook G4... it also went through two adapters in under a month, suddenly and unexpectedly. Same room, same circuit, different outlet.
Weird thing is, in the same room & same circuit, we've got a large plasma TV, Blu-Ray player, cable box, stereo & iPod dock, and none of those have exhibited problems. Even stranger, my wife's Windows laptop is usually plugged in to the same power strip as my MBP and hasn't had problems.
The most the Genius at the Apple Store was able to tell me was to try using the three-prong extension cord with the adapter instead of the two-prong attachment, since that ensures a good ground. I'm doing that now with my new adapter, but I'm concerned it will happen again.

It seems unusual / an odd co-incidence that two adapters would fail in the same way but it's possible there's been a surge or dip that's affected them but not the other hardware. Possibly just two dodgy adapters I guess ...

I had installed Maverick on two computers. The first one is a Mac Mini a new one and it gave me Keynote and Number for free. The other computer is a iMac and if I want Keynote and Number I must pay 19,99$ each. Why do I have to pay on the iMac?

When I had installed Maverick the applications Numbers and Keynote were free and installed on his computer. When I do the same on my iMac, I had to pay 19,99$ for each applications. They are only free via the account orginally purchased or if they came pre installed on the computer. Depending on what you have purchased already us the one account for the app store - saves headace and hassel in the future thus not double buying software. Do you have iwork installed on your imac? meaning the iwork 09? if you do your should be able to to to the store and update it. Worked fine for me since i bought the DVD version of iwork 09 and Aperture 3. I did not want to have to rebuy them so the app store noticed i had them installed and changed the update via the app store.

My iphone 4 got stolen two weeks ago. It was off because of down battery therefore i could not track it by app find my iphone but i immediately blocked it and report to police. The remote block of the iphone remained pending for one week (I learnt phone has to be on for such an action to be completed) and then I received email from app find my iphone that my phone was finally blocked. I check in app find my iphone to see if i could located and there the surprise! Instead of MY apple ID appears a new one! Does it mean somebody reset my iphone? What can I do knowing this apple ID? Please help! I forgot unfortunately location service has been disactivated.

Thank you for your reply, I checked the status of my apple id and nothing has changed. My iphone was off when it got stolen and short after I sent remote lock by find my iphone. Maybe somebody connected to itunes and tried to do a set up using his own apple id? I would like to understand what's goin on and if this apple id can lead us to the thieve! Dynamic Configuration for two file adapters communication channels

Hello Experts!!!!!!
     In one of the interface in my landscape, I am using two file adapters for creating two files with different names and at two different destination on F.T.P.
However the receiver service for both the communication channel are same.
In message mapping I am using multi mapping to create two files out a single message.
Now i have a requirement of changing file path and file name using dynamic configuration for both the comm channel.
When i doing dynamic coniguration for both the comm. channel. My interface is creating two files but with same name and on same destination which is set for second communication channel through dynamic configuration.
Here, I guess the second dynamic configuration is over writing the first dynamic configuration and hence creating two files with same name and at same destination.
Please suggest, if separate dynamic configuration for separate communication channel of same receiver service can be done?

    Is there any way, By which in dynamic configuration I can find out the communication channel name and then change its parameter.
I mean if iam using say comm. channel A and B.
Then in dynamic configuration for A, I will first take communication channel A by calling it and then change its path/file name.
and then do samething for comm. channel B in its dynamic conf.

Imac 27" quad core. screen dead in one week

This is the second 27" iMac I have purchased and both have died within one week. The first one was diagnosed with a bad component that regulates heat and caused the machine to shut off and the screen to have banding/flickering issues.
This new machine is literally one week old, and after spending one full day installing software and restoring time machine it wasn't touched for 5 days due to a busy work schedule. On the first real day of work at home (5 hrs) the screen went completely black. This time the harddrive is still working and I was able to launch in target drive mode via my laptop (hold t will firing up iMac) and get the necessary files off of it. Now I get the fun of wiping the drive so I can return yet another 27"imac. What has happened to Apple reliability, I still have a blue and white g3 that will run.
Frustrated is an understatement since now I am behind in my work and have to cart this heavy machine back down to an inconveniently located apple store.
The Apple support guy was nice enough, yet once again they deny this is a common issue (there are over 300 pages related to this- which has now been archived to prevent more responses, hence my new one) and he ran me through the normal nonsense: 1) unplug machine and wait a minute (what!? I thought that was a windows fix!!) and 2) hold command and option while also holding p and r as you turn on the machine -- even the support guy knew this wouldn't do anything. Apple needs to stand up and take responsibility for a machine that has serious issues!

Millions of folks have purchased that Mac with no issues whatsoever. The machine is a great design. Occasionally Apple's supplier's part may fail. That is to be expected when one deals with the millions of parts that make the various supply streams for Apple's products. This is why Apple has a manufacturer's limited warranty, plus gives you the option to extend that warranty. Unfortunately you have experienced two failures on new machines. But you are reporting that in fact they are completely different failures.

How to insert data coming from 2 different file adapters in to one DB adapt

i want insert data in to database containing two diffferent tables, so i imported tables in to DB adapter by creating relation ships.But, data for two tables are in xml format & two are in different locations.So, i used 2 file adapters to get data from 2 different & i used BPEL(Define service later) Service. now in bpel i used receive activity to receive one file adapter data ( i checked create instance in receive) then used transform activiy for tranformation & finally invoke activity to invoke DB adapteer........similarly i repeated sequetially to 2 file adapter, by keeping 2nd receive(no need to check create instance) next to invoke.*Problem is after deployment finished only data coming from 1st receive is inserting to the table...& 2 nd receive not working it showing as Pending & showing as Asynchronus Call back inte console*
I configured all the adapters perfectly..........Can any one can help me how to Commit 2 nd receive to insert data in the 2nd table

I am doing this in 11g there is no problem regarding transform activity.
My requirement is
two different files from two different folders in a drive & we can't use one file adapter bcoz both have different columns(only few are common columns) so we use two different xsd's .So, i am using two file adapters to insert in database having two different tables with respect to two different files data coming from two file adapters. i am using one DB adapter to insert bcoz both tables are in same database with relationships & i used BPEL(define service later) .
NOW PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE FLOW IN BPEL TO INSERT BOTH FILES IN THERE RESPECTIVE TABLES IN DATABASE.
The flow i did 1st file adater--->receive--->transform---->invoke----->DB adapter.....Then again repeating this as keeping 2nd receive below 1st invoke
2nd file adapter-------->2nd receive---->2nd invoke------>same DB adapter
MY problem is only data coming from 1st process is inserting & 2nd one is not working as i discussed earlier........I USED READ FILE OPTION, UNCHECKED DELETE FILES OPTION & SET DIFFERENT POLLING FREQUENCY FOR BOTH FILE ADAPTERS.
I tried to set correlation but it is not working & later tried i kept non-blocking invoke as TRUE in DB adapter also didn't work...........also i tried this transaction property in bpel component _<property name="bpel.config.transaction"_
many="false" type="xs:string">required / requiresNew</property>...............BUT NO CHANGE...........

Two Bluetooth Adapters on Mac Mini

Is it possible to use two bluetooth adapters with the Mac Mini?
If not, is it possible to disable the internal adapter and use an external USB bluetooth adapter?
If you're curious, here is what I'm trying to set up.
upstairs: Mac Mini with keyboard, mouse, monitor, a dual SATA dock and one end of a USB over cat 5e system
cables running downstairs: VGA, speaker wire, cat 5e
downstairs: VGA projector, amp & speakers, USB dock, USB bluetooth adapter, bluetooth controls (probably the ProMini wireless keyboard with trackpad)

I don't know if it's possible to disable the internal Bluetooth, but why bother? Bluetooth has a range of 33ft, so anything downstairs is likely out of range of the Mini's internal Bluetooth, and the materials in the building is further reducing the signal strength of Bluetooth. 33ft is an optimistic number and I've found that I often have trouble going to the next room, depending on the device.
If you're curious, here is what I'm trying to set up.

Otherwise, since you already have USB heading downstairs, then a USB keyboard and mouse would obviously work. Or a wireless keyboard/mouse, but non-Bluetooth. (i.e.: a wireless keyboard/mouse that comes with it's own USB dongle.)

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps, like resetting you iPhone, for example? Or restoring it?
If not by all means do so because your problem could be caused by software glitches that could be solved resetting or restoring.
Warranty is for one year from date of purchase and two years if you bought Apple Care at the time of purchase. If your iPhone has a hardware issue within warranty, it would be replaced by Apple. If it is already out of warranty, you might be eligible for an out of warranty replacement where you pay a much lower amount but this varies according to the country and currency, so it is better to check with Apple or with an authorized reseller.

Two network adapters and Real Application Cluster

I have got one problem. I have got 2 computers and each of them has got only 1 network adapter. Is it possible to make Cluster having only 1 network adapter on each node?
Do 2 adapters are needed (they must be)? I know that I can add two different IP addresses to one network adapter. Another question is: is it possible to make two networks (private and public in Oracle 10g )on one adapter to create cluster? If it is ,please expalin how to do it or give a link,please . I will be happy then :)

Two ethernet adapters = troubleshooting

We are developning an application in LabVIEW 6.02 which controls a Logic Analyzer (HP1670D) via telnet and ftp. The medium between the HP and our PC(NT-4) is a TP- or a coaxial-cable.
In our PC we have two ethernet adapters, one that is talking with the LAN and one that is suppose to talk with the HP throw our LabView-application. However we are not able to use the secondary ethernet-adapter with LabView. It seams like that LabView is not able to handle two ethernet-adapters, some kind of conflict or delay is raised during the communication.
Other applications (i.e ftp-programs) handle the communication with the HP without any problems.
The LabView-application works great against the HP if we only use one ethern
et-adapter.
Do you know how to solve or where to find any solutions to this issue ?

I'm not sure if I can help, but I can tell you that I use 2 NICs with LabVIEW all of the time and have no problems. We configure the card on the LAN to get its IP from a DHCP server and we specify the IP of the second NIC. We generally use something like 192.168.xxx.xxx and make sure that the subnet (third set of numbers) is different from our LAN. The products that I test have and ethernet connection and I ping and telnet to them. Our configuration is Win NT 4 and LabVIEW 6 and LabVIEW 5.
