Two commercial pages (inside Amazon and United) sites have displays disrupted in 8.0.1.

Two pages that must display correctly for transactions do not: the Amazon accounts page (https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/homepage.html?ie=UTF8&ref_=topnav_ya) and a United Airlines page (in the URL box attached to this question). Displays are all static. Safari 5.1.1 displays properly. Pre-version-8 Firefox displayed these correctly. Have Style as "Basic" and cleared cache per FAQ info. Using Mac OS X 10.6.8 on an iMac.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

The Back arrow does not always work, particularly with Amazon and eBay sites.Even the on-page Back arrows do not work either.

I am using version 15.0.1. Since I updated to this version, the Back arrow does NOT always work particularly with Amazon and eBay. This is particularly evident when I go from a list the result of a search to an item on the lis. I cannot get back to the list even using the On-page Back arrow. I usually have to repeat the search to get back to the list again.

Javascript is not working on some sites, and some sites also display in what looks like arabic. whats going on? how do i fix the javascript problem? javascript IS functioning in other browsers.

Site displays fine in IE but in Mozilla, displays in text only, with the message: "Billboard requires a JavaScript enabled browser to get the full experience." Getting similar messages on other sites. Also, some sites are displaying in part English, part what looks like Arabic to me. Whats that about? Havent played with any language settings- in the browser OR on my computer. The affected sites listed are both displaying in text only. The login page for Mozilla website is one of the sites i mentioned displaying in part (Arabic?)

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Ebay and other sites dont display normally as they were

hello--im a guy with a Firefox webpage display problem.....Firefox doesn't display web pages the same as my opera and chrome browsers do now....after 27.0 upgrade i think is problem maybe...but my eBay auction pages are different ...they have 3 drop down box areas when normally a week ago they weren't there...for seller location item number return policy etc...normally they should all be presented there in the open..but Firefox no longer does this...my eBay page display of lists is different too now....i had to uncheck now not letting way website chooses to display itself ..i manually had to set text size etc eBay was all messed up.....coast to coast am doesn't present right either on Firefox compared to opera and chrome which show it normally....i tried putting the eBay auctions and my eBay page on the http://validator.w3.org site you recommend..it shows 300 errors and 50 warning for the eBay auction page as HTML 5 it says..my eBay page had 50 errors and 30 warnings...i have no idea what all that is im not a programmer code writer or hacker.....myself i think these are major websites and they do display properly in other major browsers....so i feel Mozilla Firefox is at fault and has bug issues...can you contact Mozilla technical support please..i have no way of knowing any support emails or technical support phone numbers ..just these last hope support forums which aren't much help to me....

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Another person tried to access outlook express through firefox. The settings have been completely changed and now are tabs are completely different and there is search bar. Please can you tell me how to restore the front page. I have a screen shot but am not sure how to add it.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Flexconnect, branch and central site have same VLAN's

Is anyone familiar with a flexconnect deployment where on the central and branch site the same VLAN's are in use?
On both sites the following VLAN's are in place:
VLAN 32 = BYOD
VLAN 31 = USER
VLAN 40 = VOICE
On the branch site I want to deploy Flexconnect. When creating the VLAN mapping in the AP configuration all the VLAN's are instantly assigned. For local branch DHCP ip-helper addresses are configured on the branch switch. When a client connects to the Flexconnect AP it doesn't get an IP address. Suggestions?

On the WLC location, your clients get IP? How did you setup the DHCP Server: on interface level or DHCP Override?
For the FlexConnect sites:
- enable Vlan Support?
- specify Native Vlan for the AP mgmt Vlan
- add Vlan Mapping: Wlan to sites's Vlan
- finally: configure accordingly the switchport:
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native vlan ...
switchport trunk allowed vlan all

Adobe Muse: "Preview page in browser" and "preview site in browser" functions have stopped working.

Working one day then not the next. Firefox just spins. The preview button works, as does the publish function.

Something else to add: When Firefox finally timed out it displayed the full url. Copying and pasting that into Safari and everything works. So it seems in someway this is a Firefox issue or a Muse -Firefox connection issue.
So the new question is: how can I change the browser Muse chooses to use when I select these two functions?

Adobe Muse will use OS default browser for preview the page/site in browser. So you can change the default browser and preview the site again.

How can I allow users to view any Wiki Pages inside my enterprise wiki site collection, as PDF files

We are working on an enterprise wiki site collection, and users start adding wiki pages and link them together. But a new requirement was raised by the customer, to allow users to be able to convert any wiki page to pdf file and save the pdf file to their
local PCs. They are suggesting to add a link or an option inside the upper ribbon , named “Make as PDF”, and once clicked they can view the current wiki as a pdf file.
Not sure what are the capabilities of SharePoint 2013 to do so ? and is there any third paryt tools that allow doing similar tasks ?

If you want to save as PDF, could you not use a PDF printer, so the procedure would be to 'Print this page' and the user then selects their PDF printer and where they want to save the file.
but in this way the user will have the page header footer, left navigation included in the pdf file. while i want to extract the body only. i so not think you apprach will work for my requirements

Why are there no login bars on Amazon and other sites on my computer?

When i go to log in on Amazon or even just go to Kroger.com and try to complete a survey, the spaces/bars do not appear for me to enter my information into. I have tried nearly everything i can find including starting firefox in safe mode so it can't be an add-on causing the problem, unchecking hardware acceleration, and a number of other things. This problem does not happen when i use Internet Explorer on the same computer. It might also be a problem on the computer itself but I don't know what it could be. Please help!!

What's causing certain bookmarks to disappear and certain sites not displaying in history using Firefox 4.0.1

I notice lately that after I create certain bookmarks, they're not in the bookmarks menu when I look for them in subsequent sessions.
I also notice that certain sites don't appear in the history file. For example, earlier today I visited several sites on Sears.com and bookmarked one page.
The bookmark isn't there, and when I check history none of the Sears.com pages are listed. It's as if I never visited them.

Several websites (Chase Bank, Amazon, various movie sites) have interactive content that doesn't work since updating to version 6.0. These websites work in IE or Opera, however.

When accessing "My Kindle Page" the list of titles doesn't load (the uploader just spins endlessly). The Chase Bank page said that its certification has been revoked and wouldn't upload at all. On various movie sites, the uploader spins endlessly as well. These sites worked on previous editions of FireFox and work on other browsers (IE, Opera) currently. Is this my computer or an issue with version 6.0?

I know the password is correct, as other devices and this site have accepted the password. I would like help in uninstalling a few of the devices where the program is no longer needed.

If it is WEP, one of the problems is that the actual standard relies on a 10 character HEX key for 40bit WEP and a 26 character HEX key for 128bit WEP. In order to make things easier, vendors use certain algorithms to convert simple alphanumeric passwords (or passphrases) into HEX keys, thus enabling the use of simple easy to remember WEP password rather than lengthy HEX keys. The problem is that different vendors use different algorithms to generate the HEX key and therefore a ASCII password on an AEBS will be hashed differently on a non-Apple client and vice versa.
