Two Container in one HScene

Hello!
I'm trying to develop a Menu with submenus in it, that i put in an extra container in order to remove the container from my scene when the user navigates back to the main menu. The problem is, that only content of one container is shown, never both menues at the same time..By the time i got wondering if it is possible at all to use two HContainer in one HScene? I took a look at the Havi Specification too, but this is not explained in detail or i missed it..
I'm running the IRT RI and XletView3.6 for testing my apps, but with both it does not work..

I didn't realize that pixel layouting relative to my first container and therefore positioned the second one wrong!! Oh, dear!

How to combine two albums into one

I imported into iTunes two Shostakovich compositions so that I could burn a CD-R that contained these two works. The CD burning went fine, but iTunes insists on separating the two compositions into two albums in the display of all albums. I have made sure that the album titles and the artists displayed under the album icons are identical, but still the two will not meld into one. Will someone help me with this? I am using iTunes 9.2.1(4).

On the "Get Information" windows (reached with right clicks) of the two separated albums, one album was marked as "no" on the "part of a compilation" option and the other was marked "yes". I changed the "no" to a "yes" and they merged. I'm not sure if I got this from the site you gave me or if I just stumbled on to it. Either way, I thank you for your kind responses.

In code it should be easy.
The following code adds a button called butman with a text "ADD".
It then registers a listener that will be called if the button is clicked.
This listener then calls the runAddData method if you clicked on butman while it contained the "ADD" text and it will call the runClearData method otherwise.
Therefore it will swap the button's functionality between ADD and CLEAR on every click.

Some extra food for thought.
You might want to run the ADD and CLEAR methods in their own threads so that it can run in the back ground, without slowing down your user interface.
I also like to rather reuse one button for multiple functionality in stead of making an application with hundreds of nodes only used rarely with masses of code to show and hide them if needed.

Saving data into two tables "in one transaction"

Hello everybody!
My scenario is the following: SAP PI receives message containing some data (header and MULTIPLE details data in one message) and has to transfere this data to a database.
In the database there are two tables for storing the data contained in the message: one for HEADER data and one for DETAILS data. I need to save all the data (header and MULTIPLE details data) into these two tables "in one transaction" and roll back saving of HEADER data and DETAILS data if saving of some DETAILS data has failed.
I am going to use receiver JDBC adapter for this purpose.
My questions are:
1. How can I save all the data "in one transaction"? Will it work if I transform the source message into the target message which looks something like this?

we have two container entities with children, each on different tables. we want to be able to have a container start as either type, have children of either type and be able to be "converted" to the other kind. if they are stored seperately, then you could an item to one and its mirror/shadow of the other kind wouldnt be the same. so if these two things are on one table (and child table) then we have a table that has duplicate columns (ex. nameA, nameB, dateA, dateB, etc). that seems wrong. they for every tense and purpose are different tables, but we need their identities to be unique.. so i can't have an A12 and a B12.. #12 must refer to only one object. i haven't run into an entity like this before. any thoughts? there are lots of options, but which is right? at this point we are choosign one table with duplicate columns. we get the single identity then and we have one list of children, so they are never out of sync. but nowwe have the dupliate columns, which looks silly.

I'm just trying to get rid of one frames worth of artifacts. The Photoshop method seems possible but I watched a few AdobeTV videos, and it looks like export would be where all my questions would come up if I go that route.
I did do an experiment (AKA poor man's fix) just doing a freeze frame and place one frame over the offending frame and that seemed to work pretty well, but if there is any kind of motion, I suspect there would be a 30th second where you might see a slight "jump". I found this to look beeter than the artifacts.

Two copys of one album????

Hi,just wondering if some one can tell me why i get two copys of one album on my ipod nano 3rd gen even though there is only one in itunes?Both the albums have the same songs in them and have checed there id tags and all is ok.

Do you manually manage your Nano, or auto-sync?
If you are in manual, it is possible to get copies of the same songs if you update tags in your library (e.g. add artwork) and then re-add the updated songs to your Nano again (e.g. drag over a new playlist which contains these songs). When you make tag changes, even very minor ones, your iPod will see the updated copies from your library as different versions and will not replace the existing ones on the iPod, even though they are identical songs in all other respects.

Two stylesheets in one page?

Got two problems now though. In the link below there's a dotted padded line if you click on the main image which I need to eliminate. I think this maybe some sort of container. Any idea how to reduce the white background as well please in the link below? Ideally Iwant it no larger than the gallery that it sits in. Been looking at the css gallerffic-2a sheet because I think there's a container surrounding the gallery that is the width of the wite background but still can't find out how to reduce it. Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

I am totally happy with the way iPhoto organizes my photos and how I can work with iMovie to create slide shows with music from iTunes, etc.
I have been shooting mostly high resolution jpegs and I continue to learn more and more about photography, post processing etc. I realize that the small adjustments I can make in iPhoto are good, and are adequate most of the time. However, a have started to experiment with shooting RAW images and would like to go the next step, ie. post processing.I am totally technically challenged and need SIMPLE, INTUITIVE programs and am certainly NOT anywhere ready for Photoshop CS whatever!
After having these programs sit on my computer, I decided to try to see if I could figure them out. When I opened Aperture, this is what first comes up.

I have heard horror stories about moving your entire library to Aperture, ending up with 2 libraries, etc. etc. hence my previous reluctance in attempting Aperture. In addition, many of my photography friends are saying: Go with Lightroom 3.....you’ll love it!
So here is my dilemma. I don’t want to mess around with my iPhoto library. All I want to be able to do, is to isolate a few photos, export them to Aperture, Elements, and work on them there, then bring them back into iPhoto.
Can I do this? Should I forget about Aperture and Elements and look at purchasing yet another program like Lightroom?

Export those few photos via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu option with Kind = Original to the Desktop. Then import them into the Aperture library. That would keep one copy in your iPhoto library and another in your Aperture library to edit, etc.
You can use Photoshop Elements 9 from within iPhoto as your editor of choice. However, if you edit a raw file in iPhoto with PSE9 the resulting edited version must be saved outside the iPhoto Library and imported back in as a new file. For editing jpegs just do a Save (not a Save As) and it all will be kept within iPhoto.
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:
Note: to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.

Jim,
Before starting the database A, did you set ORACLE_SID=A from command line? You can run as many instances you want from single server provided you enough memory, processing power. Also try starting your instances usign window services and check and post some lines from alert.log for database A.

However, I enouther another problem while dealing with an array of U16 type. I would like to extract the high and low byte from numbers (U16) stored in array. I extract the high and low byte for each U16 number and convert them as char, concatenate them to a string. Repeat this process for each element in the array so to get a big string with each element is a char for high and low byte. My code is enclosed as follows
It works fine but I am concerning the speed. Is that any other way to do it fast and don't use loop (in real case, I will deal with pretty big array many times, efficiency is a problem). Note that the high and low bytes array extracted from the original array with the module Split number.vi, but how can I combine these two array in one code with data arranged as high-low-high-low ... ? You need to be more clear.
Looking at the code, you are dealing with I16, not U16. Also your index array primitives could be replaced by autoindexing. Your use of the feedback node only makes sense if you want to append strings forever with stale data, thus growing data structures without limits. If you only want to convert the current data, remove the feedback mode and use a "concatenate strings" with a single input. A for loop is one of the most efficient data structures and using it is not a problem. One way or another the code needs top oerate on all data.
All that said, I agree with Tim that most likely all you need to do is insert a typecast after the "to I16" and eliminate all other code.

Hi. I am having an issue with music on my IPod. It would probably be easier to explain my specific issue: I have songs by Band of Horses from Cease to Begin. When viewing my albums through cover flow, it shows Cease To Begin as two separate albums, one with only Islands on the Coast, and the other having Islands on the Coast with 3 other songs. If I delete the album with only one song from my IPod, it deletes the song from the other "album" as well. If I go to "All Songs" by Band of Horses, it only shows one Islands on the Coast, so it is not a duplicate issue. Also, in Itunes, it only shows one album. I just recently updated to iOS5 on my 4th Gen IPod Touch, if that helps.

WinXP with two users - can we have two separate iTunes, one for each user?

Question: On my Dell WinXPPro SP3 desktop with two users (myself and my wife), can each user have a separate iTunes - so what each of us does with iTunes has no effect on the other?
Details: Yesterday, June 29 2012, I bought a new iPad 3 with WiFi only, my first Apple product. My #1 motive for buying it is to copy movie files (avi, m4v, mp4, etc.) from my WinXP setup (PC plus hard drive) to my new iPad to watch the movies in bed on the new iPad. I understand that I shall need to install iTunes on both the iPad and the PC in order to move or copy the existing movies from the PC side to the iPad. (I also understand that I won't be able to use iCloud because iCloud will not run on WinXP, only Vista and Win7.) [By the way, if iTunes will NOT help me do what I want to do, please let me know. But that is not my question.]
I am only one of two users on the PC. My wife is the second user on the PC. She already installed iTunes on the PC for her own use. She is an avid iTunes user. Most of the time, she does not use this PC. She has her own WinXPPro SP3 Dell laptop, which is what she uses 99% of the time. She has also had an iPod for some time, hence her use of iTunes. And now, for the last two weeks, she also has a new iPhone 4S and her own iPad. So her use of iTunes will grow. The important point is the following - whatever I do on my side, I do not want to interfere with or disrupt her use of iTunes. Not even for a second.
So, can I install or re-install or somehow set up iTunes on MY user on the PC so that it does not in any way use or affect her iTunes? If the answer is "yes", please give me a step-by-step and list all details. Is there a YouTube that shows this specifically?
More details: Right now, in C:\Program Files, before I have tried to install anything myself, there are already folders for Apple Software Update, iPod and iTunes, which derive from my wife's installations of these Apple programs some time ago. I have just now run the Apple Software Updater, which first updated itself on this PC to version 2.1.3.127 and then updated her iTunes on this PC to version 10.6.3.25. (As a result, the following processes/services are now running, which normally don't run when I am the user:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\AppleMobileDeviceService.exe
C:\Program Files\iPod\bin\iPodService.exe
C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunesHelper.exe
Also, the following processes will launch the next time I reboot this PC (which normally don't launch when I am the user):

My wife says her iTunes is NOT set for Family Share. (That sounds correct to me, for now and forever.)
Summary: So, how do I install iTunes for myself (for the first time) for my user on this PC so it does not - even for a second - interfere or affect my wife's use of her iTunes on all of her devices?

When I said I had not "installed" iTunes on my iPad, I suppose I meant I have not yet signed in to iTunes, ever. I suppose when I sign in to iTunes the first time on my new iPad, I will be required to create a new iTunes account? Then refer to such new iTunes account when I launch iTunes for the first time on my PC as myself? Or will I still need to use Method Three in your link?
The crucial thing is this - when I turn on iTunes on the PC for the first time with me as User, I do NOT want it to connect to my wife's iTunes account. On my PC, I would want iTunes to ask me who I am, so I can then sign in with my new iTunes account that I had just created on my iPad. How can I be sure to accomplish this goal?
In my PC, if I look at Documents and Settings and compare the two folders for we two different users, one for me and one for my wife, I can see that my wife's has Application Data and Local Settings for her various Apple programs. However, so do I in my User even though I have not yet installed any Apple programs on my side. I am concerned that when I finall launch iTunes when I am user, it will open up in my wife's iTunes account, which I truly want to avoid.
