Two different printers won't print cyan
An eMac running 10.4.4 will not print cyan ink under any circumstances. This is true with both a new Canon and an older HP inkjet printer, each with its own cable and each plugged into a different USB port.
An OS archive and install (involving a return to 10.4.0 and reupdate to 10.4.4 with printer tests at both stages) makes no difference.
Working from a new user account makes no difference.
Printing from different applications makes no difference.
Cartridge changes were of course tried, but made no difference, as you'd expect given that two different printers exhibit exactly the same problem.
All inks other than cyan print perfectly in all cases.
What on earth is going on?
When you go to the Print dialog box, open the third list (normally reads as 'Copies & Pages' by default). Choose 'Color Management', select "Off" to see if that makes a difference when you print.
Also, if the printers have internal (rather than system-based software utilities) self-tests you might want to try them, although I admit it would be a weird coincidence for both printers to sour in the same way at the same time... but stranger things have been known to happen.

Smartform output in two different printers
Hi Experts,
I want to take the Smartform output in two different printers. printers has been added in the table <b>pkhd</b> .
please anyone suggest how to pass these two in the smartform function module?
Thanks in Advance
Kavya DevaHi Kavya,
You can execute the Smart form Function Module. It will then pop-up a dialog box asking for an output device. There you can specify the Output device type and go for Print or Print Preview as necessary.

Laserjet pro 200 color MFP won't print cyan
My HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw printer has stopped printing cyan. It does it for files sent to the printer as well as just trying to make a copy. The cyan cartridge has been replaced and status shows full. I've run all the onboard diagnositics, cleaning page, etc. with no luck. How do I determine the problem and fix it?
Hi , Thanks for getting back to me! It's not abnormal to see some print quality issues once your toner is lower that 20%. Were you able to complete the steps in the document that I sent? Is there any cyan on the print quality printout at all? If not, it could be a defective toner cartridge. I would suggest contacting HP Support to inquire about a replacement if it is a Genuine HP toner cartridge.**Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance. If a replacement toner cartridge does not resolve the issue, then it's possible that the printer may need to be serviced. Hope this helps!Thanks again for posting, and have a great day.

I use my wife's printer, and my MBP identifies it and prints. I just added another one for myself so I can additionally print from my MBP. How can I switch from one to the other? I went into SPref, and highlighted my wife's printer, figuring it would print as usually, but when I went to print, the newone I just installed appears in the dock, not my wife's....so how I switch and print from one or the other? Much thanks for any reply.
You switch printers in the Print dialogue box. (command-p) where it says Printer.

Office Jet Pro 8000 Wireless suddenly won't print cyan.
The printer in question, as stated in the title, is an Officejet Pro 800 Wireless. It still has the original print heads, which it reports to be in “good” condition. All of the original ink cartridges have been replaced once, the last being the cyan cartridge which was replaced with a brand new 940 XL a few weeks ago. The printer has been working flawlessly until just tonight, when it suddenly stopped printing cyan. The other three inks all seem to print just fine, but not cyan.
So far, I have tried removing and reinstalling the cyan cartridge, and the cyan/magenta printhead. No change. If I try to print a page of solid cyan, I get nothing but a plain white page.
Any ideas? Is it plausible for there to be a defect in the cyan ink cartridge which would cause it to work just fine for a few weeks, and then suddenly stop? The cartridge has an expiration date of 2014-01-01.
How about the printhead? The printer reports that it is in “good” condition, and that its warranty expires on 2011-11-19. The warranty on the printer itself has already expired. (Correction—on generating the page again in order to produce the image that I will attach to this message, that status now reads “Monitor” instead of “Good”.)It seems like there might be a problem with the Cyan\Magenta printhead. I suggest you have a look at teh document below and follow the steps mentioned in it. In your case, you could start from Solution 4, which is to print a Print Quality Diagnostic report and follow the appropriate steps mentioned thereafter.
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01962224&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3762364&tmp...
I think you may need to replace the CM Printhead if the steps don't help.

Cannot print PDF using Adobe Reader XI on either laptop and two different printers.
When attempting to print (as of today) I get two Adobe Reader windows that pop up 1) The document could not be printed. OK 2) There were no pages to be printed OK. All help is appreciated.
I apologize, but I don't know what other detail to provide except what I already did:
'When attempting to print (as of today) I get two Adobe Reader windows that pop up 1) The document could not be printed. OK 2) There were no pages to be printed OK.'
What information is needed? I truly need some help.
Thanks,

Minolta printers won't print but plain text
It seems a postscript problem as my Minolta 2350 colorlaserwriter only prints postscripts error messages which are a mystery to me. It printed one picture fine and then it went wrong. My Minolta 1250E black/white laserprinter has the same problem. So it's my G4. Tried everything: reinstall drivers, reinstall Tiger, remove antyhing to do with printing. As far as I know I didn't touch my G4 when printing went astray. What am I missing?
I thnik it had to do with the way I installed the printer. I made a new account in which the printer worked fine. Reinstalled again in my own account and it worked fine so I won't change a thing now.

Two different table to be printed in smartform
Hi Abapers,
I am having a requirement of printing the data from two internal table in the smarform. Since there is only one main window in the smartform. The data present in the first table is taken in to the main window. The data of the other table should be printed at the specifed place in the smartform . If the data is more in which cannot be printed in single page It should automatically get extended into the next page in the specified place. Since I can able to use only one main window I am using the other table entry in the secondary window. but if there is more data, the data is getting truncated and not displaying in the next page.Can you please give me the solution to this problem.
Points will be rewarded for the fruitful answers.
Thanks & Regards
Nagaraj S.Hi
In the general attributes of the page,check if it is given adjactent to "Next",the name of the next page.
If it is given then in the conditions tab of the second table,just select the additional event you require there.
Hope this resolves the issue. Reward points if helpful.
Thanks and Regards,

Colors print differently when using different printers.
When I print from Illustrator 3 to a Xerox printer, my bright yellow prints bright yellow. When my project is sent to a HP Designjet T1100ps plotter/printer, my bright yellow prints as an orange color. How do I fix this? What am I doing wrong?
I was wondering if you could ever get them to look the same. It's two
different printers on two different papers. Still, you'd think they could
be closer than you're getting.

Use two different printer services in one web template?
Hi!
Is it possible to use two different help services for printing in the same web template (for the same table item)?
Print1:
<param name="HELP_SERVICE" value="HELP_SERVICE_PRINT"/>
<param name="HELP_SERVICE_CLASS" value="ZCL_RSR_XLS_HELP_WINDOW_PRINT"/>
Print 2:
<param name="HELP_SERVICE" value="ZPRINTING"/>
<param name="HELP_SERVICE_CLASS" value="ZBW_PRINT_HELP_SERVICE"/>
I was thinking that you maybe could change the param name values for the "Help_service" and the "help_service_class" at runtime using the properties for the table item, so that you could choose which one to use, but I havne't been able to do that so far.
Does anyone have an idea?This is not a problem. Just put the print service for the print to excel on an object other than the table web item. As long as these print services exist on any web item, you should be able to invoke them. I've tested this with putting the "Print with Excel" service on the Navigation Block Web Item and the other print service on the table web item. Hope that helps!

This issue began a more major problem in which all of my wife's pictures disappeared. That's been solved, and the pictures are back. In order to keep that thread from becoming too long and complicated I'm reposting in this new thread the original problem.
A couple of days ago my wife did the automatic update to iPhoto 6.0.6. Following that it ceased printing on our Epson Stylus CX4200. Other programs print normally; it is only iPhoto that has a problem. I have downloaded all the latest drivers from Epson, but it hasn't helped. My own two computers also won't print from iPhoto, though I haven't updated their drivers.
I just identified that it will print 8.5 x 11 paper, but it won't print 4 x 6 photos.
iMac G4 + PowerBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.8)I didn't get any replies to this problem, but eventually I was able to figure out the fix. I'll post it here in case someone else runs into this problem.
The printer instruction manual (PDF file) explains how to delete the printer drivers and reinstall. It also explains how to delete and reinstall the program that controls the scanning function (that had also quit working). When I got through deleting and reinstalling everything worked again.
Downloading updated drivers from the company that made the printer often fixes this kind of problem, but not in this case. Reinstalling the older drivers that came with the printer did the trick.

6515 won't print 4x6 photos defaults to 8x10. This happens on two different hp computers
Hp 6515 will not print 4x6 photos defaults to 8x10 paper tray. This happens on two different model HP computers.
Hello Cal31,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand when you try to print a 4x6 photo, it defaults to 8x10 paper. What is your operating system on your computer(s)? Windows or Mac?
I would recommend following this HP document on An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays on the Control Panel and the e-All-in-One Does Not Pick Up Paper ... Make sure you change the "Print Settings" to the correct paper size and the "Media Tab" is set on "Photo Tray".
Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
I worked on behalf of HP.
