Hello,
My two home CCTV cameras - WVC54GCA just stopped to respond yesterday. They were connected to different power circuits, two different outlets through two different UPS devices. No other device within the home network was damaged, there were no storm, no supertension... what could happen?The cameras are now totally dead, they're not responding in any way to putting the power plug in.
Unfortunately, they're not under warranty anymore... ;(

So as the concern that expressed with that respect both the Cameras stopped to respond... Still try to do the following steps make start to function again....
On the bottom of the camera there will be a reset button, press that and hold it for 30secs and powercycle the camera then check the light status...
Try to plug in the camera to any other power source without using the UPS....
If these does not work then its unfortunate that the Cameras have really gone bad...

If you want this split screen thingy for a single app, do like captfred suggests or see if the app itself supports some sort of splitting, like MS Excel.

Tasks allocated to two ressources to work at the same time

I faced a problem allocating a task to two persons, that have to work at the same time on this task e.g. the are working in a workshop to solve an issue.
If I use standard allocation, Project optimizes that both members of the workshop are working their 4h work budget at different times to shorten the elapsed time.

Whether project changes the duration, work value or assignment units depends on the task type and the order in which you go things. to make things simpler, I always insert the work column (1), and then when assigning the resources, I then use the Smart
Tag (2 in the screen shot below) to tell project what to do (3 in the screen shot).

When two or more devices conflict it typically means that the DHCP service is either misconfigured or is not running at all. DHCP provides IP addresses to local network clients.
Is your AirPort Express base station the only router in your current network configuration? That is, is it connected directly to an Internet modem and not to another router upstream of it?

The Satellite P100 comes with two external monitor port. A VGA and a DVI. Can you have have two external monitor working at the same time? Can you have two external monitor as well as your internal display working at the same time (for a total of 3 display at the same time?
Here is what I have confirm:
Internal display + DVI connector display
OR
Internal display + VGA connector display
Is it possible to have:
DVI connector display + VGA connector display?
OR
DVI connector display + VGA connector display + Internal display?

As far as I know this is not possible and you can use either DVI or VGA port.
For signal output can be used only one port for external display.

In jDev 11g, I've a project with two viewControler fusion Adf and one model ( service bc4j ) ;
When i Deploy the application using the topmost drop down list from jDev Ide ( application drop down list), only one of the two application works simultaneously.
Look , the two applications works, but they do not work at the same time.

What if all nodes are working at the same time? "The topology is not partitioned by time.".
location 1 will do insert/update/delete/read in the same time location 2 also will do insert/update/delete/read .......
**Data that will be added by each location is different(each location has its own primary key ranges).
Is it recomended to use Peer-to-Peer Transactional Replication in such scinarios?

The only problem that you have to tackle is what happens when the same data is being updated in multiple locations at the same time. If that is not a possibility with you then p2p is a good choice. Check the above links you will have a better understanding.

I have hard time digesting your concern.. I have 4 Different instance of oracle running on sun 2.8.
8.0.5, 8.1.7, 9.i rel 1, 9i rel 2. No issues there...
The simple things is to check is you .profile ( env variables)
Example ...
Check you .profile or .cshrc ( Depends on the SHELL You are using )
Let say you have .profile
THERE IS SETTING SUCH AS...
ORACLE_SID
ORACLE_HOME
LD_LIBRARY_PATH
PATH
etc..
You could try the following..
log into to you sun box..
do echo $ORACLE_SID this will give you current SID YOU have available to work with..
so lets say if you have a 8i SID CALLED orcl8i
example assume you have .cshrc
setenv ORACLE_SID oracl8i
setenv ORACLE_HOME /oracle8i_HOME_PATH...
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /oracle8i_HOME_PATH//lib: etc..
etc...
then
you could validate by doing echo..
echo $ORACLE_HOME
echo $ORACLE_SID
now try svrmgrl
this should work..
as far as 9i you no longer have svrmgrl..
you have to apply the above method and log into the sqlplus.

After getting those 'free apps' from the app-store (directly with my iPhone3G)... they all worked fine for 1-2 days. I ran them many times without problems.
Now they all stopped working at the same time. (They attempt to load... their main screens appear... then they just exit back to HOME instead.) Web-apps and built-in Apple software, all works fine.
I've tried powering the iphone up/down several times.
I've also tried deleting 1-2 of the apps from the phone... and the re-syncing.
Same problem.
Are there 'fixes' better than:
Drive 1,000 miles back home and re-sync all your apps.
Restore the phone and lose all my settings.
Search, find, download, and re-install all the apps over again. (What if I had >100????)
I need a 100% reliable phone... all the time.
At any time... all my apps might instantly stop working for unknown reasons???

Can't get 2 monitors to work at the same time G4 533

I have a G4 533 Dual with the stock card in it I think it is a nvidia GeForce 2MX I have a 17 inch clear monitor It is the one that matched it new. I also have a old apple 17 inch display this is the old tan one with the colored apple on the front( I have an adapter to plug this one in). The video card has 2 ports and both monitors will work in their port but if I plug them both in at the same time the clear monitor goes out. If I plug it in first then add the older one the older one wont work. I have restarted and tried all different things the ports all work as do the monitors just not at the same time. I want to be able to see differnt things on both monitors. I also have a 733 with the same 2mx card so swaping them wont help. Can anyone tell me what I need. thanks.

I note that this is now the subject of another thread that you started - it's better to stick with one thread per subject otherwise there's "double handling" involved in answering your issue.
For what it's worth, the older (none core image) cards that will do extended desktop are:
Mac Radeon ATI 8500
Mac Radeon ATI 9000
Mac GeForce4 Ti
As a rule of thumb, a card with 64 mB or more will generally be able to do extended desktops.
If you want core image support, then any card later than the ATI Radeon 9600 will do, with the ATI 9800 probably being the card of choice.
