Two digital triggers

Hi!,
I´m in need for a little help. My problem is that I´dont know is it possible to use two digital triggers simultaneusly in 6225-daq. I try to do two same tests at same time. PFI4 line should be as a trigger for a line ai20 and PFI5 should be as a trigger for a line ai52. PFI4 and PFI5 lines get rising edges almost simultaneosly but, you can´t be sure which one happens first.
Program should be able to tell if PFI4 and/or PFI5 lines get rising edge at all. If example PFI4 line gets rising edge and PFI5 line doesn´t,program needs to acquire data from ai20 when PFI4 rises. if PFI5 line doesn´t rise in 0,5 s program should not acquire data from ai52 and it should give for example boolean value or something so you can write to file that test to this other device failed.
I can use digital triggers and all is just fine when I get rising edges to trigger lines but when not, program falls.

Just renaming a file doesn't change the dataformat. Please attach real JPGs (or even better PNGs) next time!

Can I use the 2 digital triggers on the PCI-6023E to trigger 2 seperate Analog inputs on the same board?

I want to monitor 2 analog DC signals (single point measurements, not a waveform) and I want to use the digital triggers to start the acquisition, 1 trigger for 1 AI. the measurements need to be made at 1Hz, maybe slower. Is this possible with the PCI-6023E?
If not what hardware should I be looking at? I have a total of 6 triggers and 6 AI.

I would need confirmation on what you want to do:
1) I want to monitor 2 analog DC signals
This means that you will have one Analog Input operation monitoring two channels. Please confirm.
2) single point measurements, not a waveform
Ok, no buffers.
3) I want to use the digital triggers to start the acquisition, 1 trigger for 1 AI
This would mean that a single digital pulse or edge on a single line would start your 2-channel analog input operation. Please confirm.
4) the measurements need to be made at 1Hz, maybe slower.
Hardware-timed or software-timed? 1 Hz could be easily implemented with software timing. But the triggering could force you to use hardware timing. It will not be a problem but it would be good to know.
5) Is
this possible with the PCI-6023E?
Everything I mention above is possible with the PCI-6023E.
6) I have a total of 6 triggers and 6 AI.
This last phrase is what really confuses me and seems to contradict the previous sentences. Does this mean that you will want to perform 6 independent Analog Input operations, with its own triggers (one each)? Will every Analog Input operation have 2 channels?
I'll clarify why this is important:
- Each Analog Input operation can only have one hardware digital start trigger assigned to it.
- Only one Analog Input operation (multiple channels allowed) can be performed per board at any time.
Since the rates are so slow I would recommend that you perform sample all channels within a continuous acquisition and then discard the data that does not meet a certain condition. You could sample the triggers as well and discard those channels for which the trigger has not been received.
These are just some ideas based on my assumptions on the
problem. Assumptions are never a good thing so please confirm on the point s above and we'll try to help.

In Lion, Word for Mac only prints last two digits of year

In Snow Leopard, the automatic dates that auto fill in Word for Mac (08, 2011) worked fine...BUT since I 'upgraded' to Lion, (10.7.3) only the last two digits of the year will autofill, EVEN in full date mode...ie, SHOULD BE:
February 21, 2012
BUT auto filled as: February 21, 12
I saw on a MS help site that it's ID'ed as a problem in Lion:

ANSWER:
Its a bug in OSX.7 evidently MS has not rung up Apple and said hey get off your duff and fix this date issue. If you can find a place to send bug report to Apple do so.
So I checked the OSX Lion support site on apple.com and could not find an answer.
Does anyone know how to fix or how to get Apple to fix?

It's a bug, but whether it's a bug for Apple to fix or for Microsoft to fix is unknown. The thread you post is unauthoritative, being only comments by other users who have no more idea as to where the bug really lies (unless an Apple engineer has confirmed a Lion bug, something I've not seen) as any other user does; no one in that thread works for or speaks for either Microsoft nor Apple.

To skip the first two Digits of the Char in Query

Iam using County code which is the attribute of Vendor in free-chars of my query. In back-end iam doing some enhancements for this county code and populating the county codes values with region. (For example if the country code value is 021 in back end iam populating by concatenating with region value. so the value in the back-end is 05021.)
When i run the query the key of county code value i see is 05021. But i need to skip the first two digits in county code and should display in the result. Is there any way to skip the first two digits for the county code values.

Convert String to double with two digits

How can I format "String" type of numbers (eg. 199.0, or 199) to return a "double" type of nubmers like 199.00, or 199.00. It should have two digits.
For example, the input is String of 199.0, how can I get "double" 199.00. Always format as two digits.

If you just want to limit the displayed decimal places, you can do the following...

Making first two digits of all cells increment one unit

hi friends
i am not expert in MS Excel & i need an urgent help.
i had created a long excel sheet in Excel 2013 which i paste a part of that sheet here:
the list is very long.
now for some reasons, i have to edit this sheet so that in all cells, the first two digits from left increment one unit, as i have manually done that in the following figure. ( note: i don't want the color get read. i changed the color only to better view)
the problem is that i don't do that manually because there are hundreds of cells & that takes long time.
please introduce me all the methods which i can do that at once. (the format of all cells is text).

Use this formula, starting in row 1 and copy down. Copy the result, use paste special to paste as Values over column A. Delete the formula.

Dial tone after first two digits are dialed

I was just made aware that one of our sites when dialing out (local, LD, TF, etc) receives dial tone after dialing the first two digits of any number. They can continue to dial the number and will call out. I am trying to understand where the dial tone is coming from after the 2nd digit is dialed. Any idea's?

I absolutely agree with Aaron's statement that ALL route patterns need to have the 'provide outside dial tone' checked on all applicable route patterns. I would also like to note that any dial plan overlap with those route patterns would also cause delay in secondary dial tone.
For example if you dial 9 to get out and a dial-able extension gets added accidentally to a phone that also starts with a 9, that could cause similar issues.
So after checking route patterns first and if all that looks correct, I recommend Call Routing -> Route Plan Report, to search for ALL numbers that start with your outside access code.

Two digital channel output question

I need some helps on design two digital channel output
In brief, I want to use a PCI-6731 output with BNC2110. Two digital
output channel will be used, e.g. Dev1/port0/line0:1. I hope line0 could
output a steady finite samples in frequency f1 (e.g. 10kHz), and total
number of samples like N1 (e.g. 1E6); in the mean time, I hope line1
could output finite samples in frequency f2 = f1/M (e.g. 2kHz), and
number of samples like N2 = N1/M (e.g. 2E5). In another words, I expect
line0 and line1 output same time length samples sequence with different
frequency and also different number. Please note that parameter should
be expected to be controllable, and sometime f2 and N2 are not exactly
integer (then we need take round value).

Attached is a vi that does what you want, I think. It used two digital outputs clocked by one of the counters. The digital outputs are fed waveforms that are generated by making two frequencies with an integer ratio. You can change the part of the code that generates the waveforms as you wish, and use the rest to do the output.

Digital triggering

By using pulse train during raiging edge, by digital triggering i have to write to digital port and during lowering edge, by analog triggering i have to aquire the data. how i can achieve with the PCi6036E and DIO-31HS?

I am not sure that I totally understand your application. Do you want to output a digital pattern with your 32HS on the rising-edge of a digital trigger and then acquire data with your 6036E on the falling edge of that same trigger?

the best way to analyze your question is to post a short example on the programming language that you´re using in order to investigate a little bit.
Moreover, under NI Find Examples of LabVIEW (if you programm with LabVIEW), you can find several examples how you can programm your digital port about (you can type "Write" or "digital" under Search tab).
One example would be: "Write Dig Chan-Int Clk-Dig Start.vi".

Fpga detecting falling edges on two digital inputs

Hello LabVIEW-Fans,
I spent a lot of time for fixing my problem...
I want to detect falling edges on two digital inputs. The two inputs sample an identical signal. So the edge detection should
detect the both simultaneous edges at the same time -> in the same loop iteration. But many times the edges are detected
in two following loop iterations.
My goal is to bring the two occurred edges together. No matter if there are differences between 1 and 10 loop iterations. If they
occur in that time window they should be handled as common edges, if not as not common edges.
Import too is, that the timedifferences between two falling edges are calculated. These timediffs should belong together like
the common edges. They must be timeconsistent.
How can I realize that the edges in between the 1-10 loop iterations of the two channels are accepted as common edges?

So to clarify,
You have Two signals which could have a drift of X number of edges. But because these are related you only one to registor this event in software once, if two edges (one on each channel) happened within X edges?
For example,
Channel A has an Edge then 2 pulses later Channel B has an Edge = Software sees 1 edge?
Channel A has an edge then 12 pulses later Channel B has an edge = software sees 2 edges?

Triggering two conuters with two digital signals

Hi,
i am doing some period measurements using a 6221 M-Series card with two counters.
My problem is now to trigger them with two different digital TTL signals. How can i do this?
(Period times Signal 1 <-> Trigger 1, Period times Signal 2 <-> Trigger 2)
Has someone an example vi?
