Two features whose time has come !

(1) MUST HAVE FEATURE -- Resync == stop the sync with current computer WITHOUT DELETION of all files on ATV.
Realy, this is super annoying. Especially when there is troube in the syncing pc. Just leave them there, do not delete them for christ sake. Be smart and continue to be aware of all music there, to avoid duplications.
(2) MUST HAVE FEATURE -- PC control == allow iTunes on any network PC, to control ATV, exactly as you do that with the iPod remote software.
The streaming ability is nice, but not what we need. We want control. And my Plasma is ALWAYS closed. I dont want the 42" plasma TV to be open and control ATV from there. I never do that. I use the iPod. But many times, the laptop is open, and here, I can more easily do things that are hard to do on the iPod. There are many laptops, and only one synced PC, in the other room, and even there, all I can do is sync playlists to ATV, in order to use with the pod.
I am sure Apple understands what I am saying, but they still delay giving out this feature. Why? in order to sell pods? Nay, this is a stupid strategy.
Folks, if you join in, they will start to listen over there, in the thick headed basements of Infinite Loop 1.

I realize that I am Mr. Security-Nutcase-stickler-uptight, but I think arch should move away from md5 towards SHA-256. md5 has been known to not be cryptographically secure for some time now. I think steps should be taken for migration...

extra length does not necessarily ensure a better hash.
Hashing algorithms are big voodoo, lots of "tricks" to try to chop down to the bits specified.
Anyway, back to your statement. md5 outputs a 128 bit hash result. sha1 outputs a 160 bit result. md5 has been shown to have collisions. sha1 has so far not (the full 80 round version. A simplified 30 round version was shown to have some weakness).
Sha1 can address...

according to the "birthday" algorithm (heh..that is the only way I can remember it) you would only need approx 2^80 to find a collision (half the address space).
sha-256 is of course, a 256 bit outputting hash.
So with sha-256 (if it is "secure", and so far it appears to be so), you would need..
2^128...aka a big damn number.
That is, of course, if you are simply doing exhaustive searches for collisions. I believe there was some issue with md5, some trick if you will, that allowed them to theoretically reduce the address space further than 2^64.
But, as I said, this is likely a non-issue for a couple more years. Still, it would be nice to be the first distro to move off of md5, because eventually, everyone will have to do so.

IPhone 5 time has been 20 minutes behind for last 2 days

Over the last two days, my time has been consistently 20 minutes behind. It corrects itself after I restart the phone, but who has time to do that. I have Sprint and have seen other people post the same issue with all other carriers. Anyone know what this could be?

Did you check the if the time is set to "auto" in Settings/General/Date and Time ?
Is your time zone set up correctly?

Remove the extensions, redownload Safari, reload the extensions.

I really liked this phone and can not believe that you are now going to charge us $79 a battery to fix what is most definately a problem with your latest update. I know other people outside of our company that are having the same problem. Not to mention when I called AT&T it was confirmed to me that they are hearing the same issue and then some from other customers as well. Your own people, once I talked to them earlier today, told me they are showing a history of issues that are showing up after the update was put in place. Of course she tried to say, "Maybe the age of the battery and the update both contributed". Whatever.
I want you all to know how disappointed I am in your company for the handling of this issue. I always thought "Apple" was the line I didn't have to worry about having any types of issue. And that you all would stand behined your product 100%. Now I am not so sure.
I would love to hear back from your company on how you perceive the issue with all of these phones that prior to the update didn't have any issues and how after the update THEY ARE NOW having issues. I do not believe this was an issue due to the age of a battery and that was pretty lame to say so. It was fine and now its not.
Please feel free to contact me and help me figure out a way to pay for all of the batteries that will be needed for our company to contiue doing business as needed.

Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then make sure that Session is unchecked in the settings for the Firefox application.

You can always deauthorize all your machines from your store account page — just log in and view your account settings and there's a button to deauth all your machines. Which just means for the other machines, it will ask you for your store ID / password the next time you play a purchased song.
So, let's try the filter experiment.
On the start menu, click on "run". in the space it provides enter "regedit" without the quotes. This will open the registry editor.
Find the heading HKEYLOCALMACHINE. Click on it.
Find the heading SYSTEM inside it. Click on it.
Find the heading CurrentControlSet. Click
Find the heading Control. Click
Find the heading Class. Click
Find the heading that begins {4D36E965- Click
Go up to the Registry menu and select "Export Registry File... command. Make sure the "Selected Branch" radio button is checked and save that off somewhere that you can find it.
Delete the key named LowerFilter.
Select the key named UpperFilter, right click, select "modify". Then edit the text in the dialog to just say "GEARAspiWDM" followed by hitting the return key, the return after the word is important.
Then reboot, and see what iTunes does.
To get the system back to its previous state. Run Regedit again and use the Registry menu -> Import Registry File... command and select the file that you saved off in the first section.
I'm particularly interested in getting rid of the "AFS2K" driver in the chain — that's a old driver from a company that hasn't existed in years.

Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

You probably are mixing up your password with passwords from other accounts. If i were you i would write down your password somewhere easy to acess and make it very hard to guess if you ever reset it.

Is this AppleCare you are calling? If it is, you need to call back. They are there to help you with technical issues, specifically ones with your computer. Or, are you emailing iTunes customer service?

Launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive (the drive itself, not the volume icons below it.) Is the SMART status "Verified?" If not, replace the drive immediately. If the status is "Verified," the drive may still be failing. Back up all data, if you haven't already done so. Reinstall Mac OS X, then run Software Update. Test with all wired peripherals disconnected. If it's still slow, you have a hardware problem.
