Two icloud accounts, need to change default account holder

My wife never uses her account and when I do to icloud to adust my notes her account opens by default how do I change that

Hi Psalm1,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your wife may have added her iCloud account to your iPhone. If so, use these steps to remove her iCloud account from your device and sign in with your own:
iOS 6 and later: Go to Settings > iCloud.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Depending on what iCloud options are turned on, you'll be asked to confirm that you want to delete data from your device. To confirm, tap Delete. (If you're using iOS 7 and have Find My iPhone turned on, you'll be asked to enter the password for your previous Apple ID. Enter the password, then tap Turn Off.) The data will be deleted from your device, but not from iCloud.
Enter your current Apple ID to sign in. The data from your iCloud account will download again to your device.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
It's a little tricky to move data from one iCloud account to another but it can be done. But what makes you think you have 2 iCloud accounts.

  • After changing my e-mail address, two iCloud accounts were created, my iphone is unusable due to password requests every few seconds and my account has been blocked. What can I do?

After changing my e-mail address, two iCloud accounts were created, my iphone is unusable due to password requests every few seconds and my iCloud account has been blocked. What can I do?

So, you are saying that you set up a brand new Apple ID and then signed into iCloud with it, correct?
Are you also saying both accounts are disabled for Security reasons? If not, why can't you sign on with the one that is not disabled?

I accidentally put my dads account into iCloud. i need to change it but i dont know how because its grayed out. if i press delete account, will it delete the whole account or just delete it from the iPhone?

but it says DELETE ACCOUNT in red. are you sure its only deleting from the phone?

  • How do I merge two iCloud accounts?

I accidentally created a different iCloud account from my old Mobile Me and an entirely new one.  The old Mobile Me one wasn't working on all my devices, but the new one is, so I want to merge the old into the new.  Is that possible?

    To move contacts between accounts:
Go to users and groups and choose only your iCloud Contacts to display. If you are logged into two iCloud accounts you will need to make sure you select the right one.
Ensure that nothing is typed in the search field.
Click to select the first contact and shift-click the last to select them all.
Drag the list of contacts to your desktop.
Delete the contacts from Address Book (using your delete key).
Make sure your iCloud (the one you want to keep) account is your default account (preferences > general).
Select All iCloud contacts (the one you want to keep)  from users and groups.
Drag the file you previously dragged to your desktop back onto Address Book.
You might want to back up all your contacts before you begin.
Select All contacts in users and groups
Click to select the first contact and shift-click the last to select them all.
Drag the list of contacts to your desktop.

  • How can I put two icloud accounts in the same pc?

Hallo, I have two icloud accounts, one for me and another for my wife, and I would like to put the two accounts in the same pc, because I want to share all the photos of the two accounts with the pc automatically, but I do not know how to do this. The icloud panel only let me to put one account, and if I want to put another account I have to put out before the first account.

I found some clues last week in these linkes.
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=657406&tstart=150
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/deployment/deployment-guide/jcp.html#java
Which has the contents like the below:
    Example:
Assume you are running on Microsoft Windows with Microsoft Internet Explorer, have first installed version 1.4.2, then version 5.0, and you want to run 1.4.2.
Go to the j2re1.4.2\bin directory where JRE 1.4.2 was installed. On a Windows default installation, this would be here: C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2\bin
Double-click the jpicpl32.exe file located there. It will launch the control panel for 1.4.2.
Select the Browser tab. Microsoft Internet Explorer might still appear to be set (checked). However, when 5.0 was installed, the registration of the 1.4.2 JRE with Internet Explorer was overwritten by the 5.0 JRE.
If Microsoft Internet Explorer is shown as checked, uncheck it and click Apply. You will see a confirmation dialog stating that browser settings have changed.
Check Microsoft Internet Explorer and click Apply. You should see a confirmation dialog.
Restart the browser. It should now use the 1.4.2 JRE for conventional APPLET tags.
I tried the method of change the control panel but they did not work either.
    Any other helps?
    Thanks in advantage.

  • Two iCloud accounts - delete?

I seem to have two iCloud accounts.  I know there is much dicsussion but allmy devices are setup for my regular e-mail iCloud account.  The other on my iMac shows @me as the default iCloud account.  What ahppens if I just delete the @me account and what are the consequences?  Seems it may be impacting the calendars I see on my iPad.  Thanks

Just use your regular e-mail iCloud account, you must sign in with this account to iCoud, you can't use two iCloud accounts at the same time, but you can switch between them if needed.
For more information refer to http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5441
    I hope that helps.

  • TS3988 how do i merge two icloud accounts - on on my computer and ipad, a different icloud id on my iphone?

You cannot merge accounts, you will need to choose one and use it.

  • How can I have one "family" Apple ID and two icloud accounts one for me and one for the wife?

MacVirgin!Just got new Air and iMac (iphones on the way). How can I have one Apple ID but two iCloud accounts (one for me and one for my wife)? I have set up one iCloud account and am attempting to share contacts between iMac, iCloud and Air, however iMac and iCloud are not in sync? I must be missing something very simple.

ok. I set up the imac and Air with one user account. this was used to activae iCloud on both machines and I have now se up one iCloud account and managed to share calander and contacts between the two. Ultimately both me and my wife will have an iphone and we wish to share calenders and contacts. We both also use the imac and air on one user account. It looks like I need to set another user account then activate iCloud in my wifes Apple ID

  • I think i may have two iCloud accounts how can i merge them?

I think i may have two iCloud accounts as i changed my apple id, I don't seem to be able to access the other.  How can i see my documents in the cloud

    Hello HVD64
    I'm afraid there is no way too merge two icloud accounts together per se. However if you;
    1. Go to SETTINGS on your iPhone or iPad.
    2. Go to iCLOUD.
    3. Scroll to the very bottom, press DELETE ACCOUNT. Before you panic, this is not going to Delete your iCloud account. It is simply going to delete the bridge that connects your device to the iCloud.
    4. Choose to KEEP ITEMS ON YOUR DEVICE if asked.
Then sign into your 2nd account, and this will merge both accounts onto one device. There is not much else you can do I'm afraid!
    Kind regards
    Edward

  • I have two iCloud accounts and want to merge them

I have accidently set up two iCloud accounts and now I need to merge them to get rid of one so that all my accounts are in one place. I have not been able to get my PC Outlook file synced with since Mobile Me is no longer available and I just now figured this out.

You cannot merge them. You could manually export all the data from one and reimport it into the other: or you could sign in with one in System Preferences>iCloud and with the other in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts and Calendars, which would make both sets of data available on your Mac.

  • I have two iCloud accounts .mac and .me. My contacts are duplicated 2 and 3 times. I only want one account.

Somehow, I ended up with two iCloud accounts. A .mac and a .me. I only need one but can not make the .me the primeray one (it tells me that the email is already in use). Anyways, I also have my contact records duplicated 2 and 3 times. I went to the Apple store in Beijing (I'm in China now) and they did not seem to know much about iCloud. They told me that I have to erase my contacts on the iPhone and iPad and then manually erase the duplicates. Is there another way to do it? How can I set up iCloud so that I only have one account?

You can't delete an iCloud account.  You can, however, sign out of that account and just stop using it.  Then sign in to your second account on all devices account.

  • How to sync two iCloud accounts with MS-Outlook?

    Hi People!
Me and my wife have iPhones and each of us has a personal "[email protected]" account.
We share the same desktop computer at home, and I am wondering how to bring both accounts info (e-mail, contacts and calendar) to the MS-Outlook.
Does anybody knows how to do so??
    Some info:
-We really share the desktop, i.e., we both login using the same ID and we don't want to create separate Windows accounts
-We don't want the contacts to get mixed.
-I already configured the iCloud Control Panel to bring my personal iCloud info into the Outlook, and it is working fine
-I simple couldn't find a way to create a second iCloud Control Panel to configure my wife's iCloud account.
    Thanks for the help!
    Marcello.

You cannot merge two iCloud accounts.
you can delete and keep one iCloud informations on iPhone and then connect to other one, then you just will need to merge the informations.
But you will always have the 2 diferent iCloud accounts.
    keep me posted

  • Two icloud accounts- probs

I've got two iCloud accounts, poss even three, not done intentionally but historically through ignorance of how the whole iCloud, Apple ID, iTunes, iMessage thing works. My Mac is signed in to one account but my iPhone is signed into another. I want to just use one for obvious reasons to have common contacts on each. The thing is then when I go to sign out of one on my Mac it says that Photo Stream photos and Documents & Data stored in iCloud will be removed from this iPhone. I'm wondering what's the best thing to do??

I think you start by analyzing what you have in the cloud on each account, so you can see what is easiest to move to a different account. If you don't actually have photos or documents in he cloud on that one account, then you're just seeing some boilerplate warning that doesn't matter. You need to know one way or the other.
There is at some level a way to combine IDs; my sister had that done by someone at Apple when she had a very old iTunes ID and a newer one from her phone. However, the iTunes one wasn't really anything to do with the cloud.

  • What can you do about having two iCloud accounts?

Anybody else have what look like two iCloud accounts one for apple id and the other for migrated @me?
And the apple id needs a new @me account to work with mail.
I think I don't need any iCloud with my apple id but just leave me with the migrated @me account.
