Two identical cameras connected to one PC

Hi,
For stereo image capture I have two USB Logiech Pro 4000 cameras connected to my computer. However, the JMF Registry is not able to register both. I can work just with the firstly plugged one. Can anybody help me? Thanks.

It's a well known problem with JMF....

Think it had something to do with each webcam needing it's own USB channel
or USB root.... vaguely remember reading that.
You may need to write native C++ code to capture the images from multiple webcams.... may be preferrable for speed anyways.

If you use the Gmail Labs, did you by chance add the Advanced IMAP Controls label by Jamie N? If so, remove that lab and reset all labels to default. Afterwards, try to re-validate your Gmail account.

Please send me ONE reply rather than two identical copies of that one reply

Instead of sending me just ONE email as per "subscriptions," they are sending me TWO identical copies of the email. So if two people send me one reply each, A and B, I end up getting FOUR replies: AA, and BB. Yikes!
I would like to receive just ONE copy. I tried deselecting all of my subscriptions, thinking that I could start fresh and that the problem would correct itself, but the problem persists.
Please, send me only ONE copy rather than two copies.

Two (2) Ipods connecting to one PC? Problems?

I hesitate to connect my daughter's Ipod 30GB refurbished to my PC using WinXP OS. She is in Iraq, bought her Ipod online and wants me to make sure it is working properly. But a review of Forums indicates that in connecting another Ipod to a PC that already has a connection with one's Ipod, I may be creating problems for the newly connected Ipod? Does anyone know whether I may be creating problems by connecting two (2) Ipods to one PC? Appreciate any suggestions. drF (p.s. I tried to contact support using 1-800-275-2773 but was refused connection for some reason?)

I use two Ipods and don't have a problem. The way I
do it is have my ipod set to autoupdate everything
that is checkmarked. Then, I hooked up my wife's
ipod and set it to operate in disk mode and manually
update. With her's I just drag what I want on it to
it, and mine is automatic. They don't cause problems
with each other at all.
Some people say they use playlists to differentiate
what gets copied to each ipod, I suppose you could do
it that way as well.

Two identical fax machines in one location

I have two identical Officejet Pro 8620 printers, on a Wireless network, in the same office location. Is there a problem if they both show up under Devices and Printers with Identical names?
If so, I do I fix this?

Two SRM systems connected to One back end system

Hi..
Note: I have posted this message earlier ......but couldn't find that. I am just reposting the message:
In our quality environment, we have two SRM and two backend systems. One for testing purpose and other for training purpose. We are planning to remove one back end system and connect both the SRM systems to one backend system.
1. Is it possible to have this landscape?
2. In SRM & R/3 we can define two RFC connnections but from R/3 side, I am not sure how the system will determine the respective RFC connection during GR or any other process.
3. Are there any other difficulties?
We are in SRM 4.0 using Extended classic scenario. We are using SRM for processing shopping cart, Po and confirmations.
Please advise.

for this you need to configure the partner profiles.
need to define port
need to configure inbound paramters and outbound parameters.
we20 - create partner profiles.
define outbound parameters and inbound parameters of the message type.
we21 - define port.
under Transactional RFC.
and create a distribution model and add message type.
revert back to me if any problem still you find.

Two SCM Systems connected to one ERP System

Hello Experts,
Here again I got a doubt.
Is it technically possible to connect two SCM Systems via CIF to one ERP System?
Because I heard that we could connect more than one ERP System to one SCM System, but not vice versa.
If you have seen a system in production like this, what are the pros and cons of having such a scenario?

Hi,
technically it's no problem to connect two or more SCM systems to the same ERP system. We have one for DP/ PP/DS, one for EWM and one for SNC connected to the same R/3 systems. You however might get problems with the bom explosion for planned orders being sent from SCM to R/3.
The bom explosion uses field MARC-APOKZ which is maintained automatically by CIF. If there are multiple SCM system using CIF for product master data the field might not be set up correctly and the bom explosion could be wrong.
As a solution SAP provided OSS note 1576703.

From your post I understand that you want to create a new Apple ID for your wife, and disassociate your Apple ID from her devices. To first create an Apple ID please see the article below.
iTunes: How to set up an Apple ID within iTunes
Next, to disassociate an Apple ID from a device see the following article.
iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID
Once everything is created, she will just need to sign out of your Apple ID on both the computer and iPhone, and then log in with her new Apple ID.

Hi,
Every grid can have its own different database connection.
The database connection is set at the grid level. That's why when you import a grid in the report, it opens a selection for connection.
In your case, bring first grid, select a DB connection. Then repeat for 2nd and 3rd grids.

Hi, It may sound wierd But could you please check if any of your contact's name has got comma sign (,) including in it? If yes, remove that comma sign from the Contact name (not in address field ) Even i know its difficult to find a comma sign out of 1000 contacts, thanks to search function of Nokia Communication Centre, search for a comma sign in Nokia communication centre, if any of your contact name has got comma sign remove it and then try to send sms from Nokia Communication Centre, If it resolves your issue, please let our forum know regarding the same.

We have done the same thing for ESS we had to portals connected to one r/3 but beaware when we change the config for one on the backend r/3 side the settings for the other is also affected.
there is no issue with the load in this scenario and applications work fine independently as well.
but before doing this just ask your self it is really required cant i create 2 differnt roles and manage the display of the same using the themes?
but still if u wan tot do the same it is possible

Why does photo booth say that there is no camera connected?

When i open photobooth or Facetime, or any other programe to use my inbuilt camera it comes up with "no camera connected".
One day it was working, i had no accidents that i recall that would have caused this to happen and there are no other issues just this!

Measurement and Automation Explorer does not recognize two identical USB 3.0 cameras at once. How do I fix this?

I am running a set up which uses 2 identical USB Point Grey cameras of the same model (FL3-U3-13S2M-CS). Both USB cameras are plugged into the computer (blue USB cables).
When I open up Measurement and Automation Explorer and look under "NI-IMAQdx Devices" in the configuration tree, LavVIEW only recognizes one of the two USB cameras. Measurement and Automation Explorer only lists one camera, in which it recognizes it as "Point Grey Camera". Why this is occurring? How can I get LabVIEW to recognize two separate cameras of the same model?

That's about the old NI-IMAQ for USB cameras. IMAQdx has built in support for DirectShow connected cameras. IMAQdx should be able to use more than one DirectShow camera at the same time, but the Point Grey DirectShow driver may have some issues.

I have the same problem. Right now my iPhone 5S shows 3 instances of the computer to which it is connected under Settings » General » iTunes WiFi Sync. I'm having problems connecting and syncing, and this is probably the cause: the phone chooses one of these connections, and it isn't the one that's actually in use. What's probably happening is that the phone and computer establish a connection using a dynamic IP address, the address becomes "disassociated" due to error, another address is associated, the phone retains each address/link, and each link is displayed as if it represents a separate computer (the fact that the name of the computer is identical is ignored, as the only thing that is considered important is the IP address). But that's all conjecture. More important, I'm not sure how to fix the problem. A network reset doesn't do it.
