Two iMacs each with separate Apple ID. Can I merge onto one Mac?
Yes, you can use the same computer for BACK UPS, RESTORING AND UPDATING. But that is it.
You cannot, however, use it to sync the different devices. iTunes will only recognize one device to sync with and if you sync any other devices with that iTunes library, it will replace what is on the phone with whatever is in the library. It cannot differentiate between devices. At most, it will jsut recognize that the phone has been synced with a different iTunes library.
So if you would like to use the same computer for backing up, restoring and updating, just make sure to turn of Automatic Syncing in your iTunes Preferences.

How do I configure ONE iCloud account with 2 iOS devices each with separate Apple IDs?
We have two iPhones (husband and wife), each with separate Apple IDs. The phones are 5S running iOS 7. We want both phones to use the same iCloud account so each phone will have equal access to the same email, calendar and contacts - all synced in ONE iCloud account.
We will use husband's Apple ID for the iCloud ID. I would like to know exactly how to configure Wife's iPhone so that all email. calendar and contacts synced with iCloud will be identical to that available on Husband's iPhone. I would appreciate step-by-step instructions. Thank you. DaleOn your wife's phone, settings iCloud, sign out and don't keep data when prompted. Then sign in again using the husbands Apple ID.

We have two iphones each with a different apple id - can i use the same laptop and itunes for back up, restore and updates without risking having my apps overwritten. Basically does itunes keep the two iphones as two separate entities ? Does iTunes differentiate between the two devices and keep two different SYNCs ?

How do I share music between two iPads each with different apple ids?
I have an iPad retina display and my son has the iPad mini. We have different ids. How do i send my iTunes music to him? My iTunes doesn't seem to have a menu that says file or preferences. Also what is home share? We don't have a desk top. Just the iPads
Home Sharing allows you to share music from a computer to another computer or device, it doesn't work between just devices, it needs a computer.
Home sharing : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3819
You could potentially log in with your account on his iPad and re-download your music (if you are in a country where music can be re-downloaded), but you risk tying his iPad to your account for 90 days (so it's probably not worth it) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 -
Can I have 2 accounts with separate Apple-Id on 1 iMac? I share an iMac with my spouse.
We are two people with one iMac 27. We have our own iPhones with separate Apple accounts and A-Id`s.
Yes, just enter your respective ID's in System Preferences > iCloud while logged into your account. These preferences are unique to each user.

My wife and I each have an iPhone4 with separate Apple IDs. We are hopefully about to purchase the 4th gen iPad; can we use iCloud on the iPad with separate IDs on the iPhones?
We would like to have all our music, photos, etc. on the iPad - is it best to create a new combined Apple ID for the iPad and simply upload our music, photos, etc. via our laptop instead? Does this not then render the iCloud useless to us?And just in case you were wondering, installing one purchased copy on all the Macs you own is specifically called out as allowed in the Mac OS X Lion license.
If you do not want to download multiple times, just copy the Applications -> Install Lion app to a safe place BEFORE you do the first install. Then copy that copy to any Mac you own where you want to install Lion. -
I have 2 email addresses (1 mac.and 1 blueyonder.) each with separate identities and passwords. I am forever getting asked to verify identity and/or passwords and having these refused and me then having to set up new ones. Can I combine my email addresses to a single Apple Identity and Password? If yes then How?
Any help much appreciated as this is driving me crazy!Depending on what you're asking...
There is no means to merge Apple IDs. You can change the mail address assocaited with your Apple ID, so you might switch to using and purchasing from one email address, and using the second as a backup. (There's no means to merge the purchases, and related baggage.)
While I'm guessing this was about Apple IDs, for completeness... Combining the mail messages involving multiple email addresses is separate from the Apple ID; that is usually done with some combination of notifying the senders or with the forwarding of messages from one mail server to the preferred server. Or running multiple mail accounts in parallel, depending on what you are up to. -
I have two children each with an itouch. Is there a way of using the same AppleID but giving them separate game centre "me" users?

Can I use two different devices with different apple ID for backing up data on one machine without losing any data that was backed up with one device earlier?
The link is to a discussion started on 12/18 in the FiOS Internet forum. Here's the link I get now, however it is different than the link I pulled a few hours ago. If this system changes the link again, it may not work.

Here's a link that is in the thread that gives more detail.

I ahve two itunes accounts with different Apple ID's. How can I merge them into one account?
Apple has no provisions for this. You cannot merge multiple Apple ID's into one ID. Content is always tied to the Apple ID that was used to purchase it.

Lots of info about one user using multiple computers. What about multiple users with separate Apple IDs using same computer? Having problems getting my wifes new iPhone talking to her apple account on the computer we share (2 users)
You need to create a user account for your wife (or yourself depending on who has the current user account). When syncing, each of you should sign in as a separate user, login to iTunes and then sync. I had this problem when my sister got an iPhone. When we did her initial sync, everything on my iPhone showed up on hers. Apple gave me this solution.

I have two children each with an ipod which has FaceTime - I have the iphone 4s with FaceTime. All of these devices are connected to itunes through the one account. How do I set up the FaceTime on the two ipods so as it doesn't ring both of them?
I started to do that then it said that this will become their apple I.D or similar and then I thought that will disconnect them from the same iTunes? I want them still on my iTunes as they are only young (8 and 10)? Or have I got this all wrong and even if I do set them up with a different e-mail will they still be on my itunes? For example if they want to purchase an App will it still go through my account even if they use their ipod?

If I have 2 tv's and each their own apple tv can I display the same program to them from my macbook at the same time?
for instance Keynote?Welcome to the Apple community.
The Apple TV cannot display keynote presentations or websites from the computer. It can display them via mirroring from the iPad 2 or better or the iPhone 4S.
You cannot AirPlay to 2 Apple TV 2's at the same time from an iOS device. You can watch the same video, TV show or listen to the same music from your iTunes library on multiple Apple TV's at the same time. -
