Aren't the names quite clear:
Uninstaller is, well, the uninstaller
Installer_full is the installer
depending of what you want to do, use one or the other.

    64 bit.
32 bit won't use all your computer's ram.
64 bit allows you to run 32 bit programs
    Your computer is 64 bit
    New programs use 64 bit.
There is no reason to use the 32 bit version of Windows.

I think the usual advice is to use the Rebuild command in Library Manager.

  • Which version of photoshop is compatible with my Mac OS X v.10.6.8? Should I use Photoshop CS4 Extended or CS5 Extended?

Which version of photoshop is compatible with my Mac OS X v.10.6.8? Should I use Photoshop CS4 Extended or CS5 Extended?

CS5 works fully on my Macbook Pro, but it all depends on your specs. If you have a newer MBP on SL, you should be fine. Photoshop isn't terribly demanding on the computer so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Whichever one you can get is fine.

  • I have an Anker Astro 3 charger with a 9V and a 12V setting. Which should I use to recharge my new Ipad (3)?

I have an Anker Astro 3 charger with a 9V and a 12V setting. Which setting should I use for my new (3) Ipad?

    Hi there,
You use only the 5 volt USB ports. Not the 9 volt and Not the 12 volt one either. The voltage must be 5 volts. 9&12 volt ports will damage your device. Below is a link to the Anker Astro 3. Check out the link. Take a look at the first picture of the Anker Astro 3. It's the photo that shows two USB ports to the left of center of the battery. Anker always labels its ports. The ones I have are labeled on the back of the battery where each port is. The product description says that there are 2 5 volt USB ports for a total output of 2 amps. So you would use one of those for your IPad 3. Hope this helps you.

  • Adobe Shockwave continually locks up my computer no matter which browser I use.  This is getting tiring.

I installed and uninstalled shockwave a number of times but nothing seems to work.  It continually locks up my computer. I always get an error message.....shockwave has stopped working...in my browsers, no matter which one i use.  This is really getting tiring and I'm so frustrated.
I've researched and made adjustments according to what others think the problem is but it never works.  What is going on?  Do I have a program which is blocking it?...My computer is only a few years old and I have to say I never had this problem before.
I have the latest version.  Should I try to get to an older version?  Is there another program I can use.  It doesn't matter if I'm playing games or just going to my home page.  I get the error message and the computer locks up.
    Any REAL working suggestions?

I can't provide one because it's not one in particular.  It happens when my home page opens (msn.com), when I'm on facebook, when I try to go to any page.  In Chrome the message comes up stating Shockwave has stopped working; In Foxfire, I have the same error message with foxfire wording.  It is nothing specific, nothing.  I will uninstall it and try to find another program in it's place.
I know many people are having the same problem.  I use Win8.1

  • HT1420 I run my business with Apple computers and personally own about 20 of which I personally use more than 5 of these. I can't authorize more than 5. Is there any way around this?

I run my business with Apple Computers and own more than 20. I personally use more than 5 devices both at home and at the office but can't "authorize" more than 5. Is there anyway around this problem? Thanks

Use the Deauthorize All command documented in this article, or if it isn't an option, the 'contact iTunes Store support' link at the bottom of it.

  • I want to export a photo with it's highest resolution p/in. What value should I use?

I have a photo that an author would like to publish in a book.  I sent it at a resolution of 300 p/in.  She would like it at the highest resolution possible.  How do I find or determine that value?  The photo was taken with a Nikon 7000.

The ppi setting is only a tag in the file metadata, it does not change the image in any way. It may be used by some printing applications to determine a default print size, but is generally ignored. The ppi box in the LR Export dialog will accept any number from 1 to 65,000, but what really determines resolution is the number of pixels in the image. If you are exporting all the original pixels from the camera less any lost to aesthetic or aspect ratio crops, that is the highest native resolution possible. Resolution can be artificially increased by using the Resize option in Export so that LR will create and add in new pixels - whether or not this causes visible artifacts is largely dependent on the amount of enlargement.
Since your author friend is probably also unaware of the irrelevance of the ppi tag, send her all your native pixels and set an impressively high number for the tag - like 65,000

  • Which should I use, PersonalJava, J2ME with CDC or J2ME with CLDC?

I want to write a program, which can run on Pocket PC (Compaq ipaq)?
And I need the support of double?
    What should I do?
Who can help me please? Thanks!

It depends which runtime you are using (VM) and what you want your program to do.
I don't think the iPAQ has native support for floating point arithmetic, so any implementation will do all the calculations in software anyway.

  • Do you have an up to date list of recommended graphics cards which should be used with CS 5.5 design premium.

My current graphics card is a NVIDIA GTX 650Ti  which is giving up the ghost.  i have been asked what card I need to replace it, but I cant find an up-to-date list of recommended graphics cards.  My IT department suggest the NVIDIA GTX 750TI OC as the previous one is no longer available.

Completely irrelevant. The only program that uses GPU acceleration in Design Premium CS5.5 is Photoshop, anyway. Any contemporary card should more than suffice.

  • Two things came with my Firefox when I downloaded it. Speed Dial and Xmarks. When I start the program it locks up and I have to just shut it down. How can I delete them? I only want the Firefox.

When I downloaded Firefox I had two things download with it. Speed Dial and Xmarks. I don't know about either and don't want them. I cannot delete them alone it seems. When it all loads it locks my computer up totally. I cannot x out of anything. Just kind of "thunks" with a dead sound. My facebook applications runs better on Firefox but I can't seem to get it downloaded alone. What am I doing wrong? I do not want the speed dial for sure. Don't know about the Xmarks.

Where did you download Firefox from?
The official Firefox download doesn't come with either of those addons.

    Greetings again David,
    (1) I still do need assistance with both of these problems.
    (2) I came to this forum for help because like others, I do not have the expertise to solve the issues. I have sought to follow the instructions you have provided. I am thankful for those people like yourself who care enough and are willing to provide guidance / education.
    (3) I am 52 years old and have three grandchildren, please don't talk down to me like I am a child who has been purposely disobedient.
    (4) David, I appreciate and respect your expertise. Thank you for your willingness to help me and others grow and learn.
I will continue to seek to carry out your recommendations and provide info on the results.
    Kind regards,
    Bill Siegrist

  • Should I use MSI's or Intel's chipset driver with a G31M3-L V2 motherboard?

I just purchased an MSI G31M3-L V2 motherboard, bundled with an Intel E5200 CPU from Fry’s Electronics, and I plan to build a computer with the other parts (listed below in the signature) that I already have.
This will be only my second build so I was doing some research to see that I do it right.  One thing I wanted to make sure about was the proper order for installing drivers since that appears to be important.
All seem to agree that the first driver to be installed after the basic Windows installation is the chipset driver.  Some even say that the chipset driver should be installed before even installing Windows patches, updates and service packs.  Others say to complete the Windows installation first, but all agree that the chipset driver should be the first driver.  Ok, so far so good.
There is a driver on the MSI web site labeled “Intel INF Drivers for 945/955/965/975/Q3x/P3x/G3x/X3x Chipsets.”  It has a version number of  8.3.0.1013 and an update date of 2008-01-16.
Well that’s great, but in my internet travels today I also came across a chipset driver on the Intel web site which also seems to be for the G31 chipset.  It is labeled “INF Update Utility – Primarily for Intel 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets.”  It has a version number of 9.0.0.1008 and a date of 8/2/2008.  A look into the release notes for this item indicates that it is for Windows XP and the G31 Express chip set, among others.
Well, of course, my first impulse is to use the Intel supplied driver since it has a higher version number and a later release date, so it must be the better driver, right?
Then I got to thinking:  why wouldn’t MSI have this, apparently, newer chipset driver on its web site?  Is it possible that I would be better off with the, apparently, older driver on the MSI site?  Is it possible, perhaps, that MSI may have made changes to the driver they offer that makes it better for an MSI board than the, apparently, newer Intel driver?  Now I don’t know what to think!
So which should I use, the version 8 driver from MSI or the version 9 driver from Intel?

I am building a computer with the parts listed below, but I thought that since the MSI G31M3-L V2 motherboard has on board video, and sound, it might be simpler to start out with that and add my video, and sound, cards later.  Of course this means I will have to install the Intel VGA driver and the Realtek audio driver and then add the nVIDIA and Creative drivers when I add those parts.
On the one hand it seems like to get the computer up and stable first and then add in other parts later would be a good idea but on the other hand everyone seems to suggest that the graphics driver should pretty much be the next one installed after the chipset driver, so If I wait to add the nVIDIA card later I’m not really following this guideline.
What do you experienced system builders do in a similar situation, put everything in all at once or start out with the on board stuff first and add the cards in later?
