Two ipads, same setup, application acts differently..why?

I have two iPads running PDF Expert.
Both were upgraded to latest iOS and app installed on same day. Everything else is setup exactly the same way on both iPads.
I click on edit button at the Network server level and I see the delete option and I am able to delete a server on one iPad. When I click on the edit button on the same application on another iPad, no option to delete a server shows up.
I hard rebooted the failing iPad as well as reinstalled app but this did not fix the issue.
What type of issue could this be?

If you set the iPad up over WiFi, when you entered your Apple ID on the device, iCloud downloaded all of your content from your iCloud backup would be my assumption as to what happened. As Eric said, you can change the iPad name in Settings>General>About>Name.
You can delete any content that you don't want on this iPad and download it later if that's what you want to do. If you are using the sme Apple ID on both devices, there will be no conflicts whatsoever with purchased content. You can download content to either or both devices with the same Apple ID,
if you want to keep both iPads in sync with purchases go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Automatic Downloads and turn it on for apps, music and books - or any combination of the three items - and when you download that content on one iPad, it will also download the other iPad.

It is still not possible to have two credit cards with your iTunes store account. I've just had a discussion with an Apple representative who suggested I give feedback to Apple about this. The more we are, Apple might listen to us in the end.

I’m surprised as are many other people who have the same issue (can see this in many forum threads) that Apple don’t give us the possibility to have at least 2 credit cards with one AppleID/account like most other vendors do (even much smaller than Apple). This certainly forces people to buy some stuff elsewhere that they otherwise would have purchased from Apple (for example books) or restrain from buying things they would have bought if they had a choice to use a second Credit Card.
Not having this option puts me in a precarious situation since it would not be OK to buy just anything with the Credit Card that is tied to my business (and in many cases like mine the business is only one person, the VAT No being the same as my social security No).
Sole traders need an option too.

Two Systems On 6.0 Acting Differently using Purchase Req BADIs

Why won't two Version 6.0 systems, we can call system A, and system B, react the same when trying to use the same BADI for a Purchase requisition? I used ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST in one 6.0 system A, and it worked great. I want to put the same logic in another system B, that is also on Version 6.0. I put my break points in system Bs BADI ME_PROCESS_REQ. However, when I execute the same navigation within a Purchase requisition, ME52N, the breakpoints do not get hit in system B, like they do in system A?
Please note:
The BADI and the code is activated in system B
System A and System B are both on Version 6.0, but it looks like System A has several EHPs applied, and SystemB does not have any EHPs applied. But I believe these BADIs have been around, since 4.7.

Same installed applications, but different user (issues).

Can anyone tell me why I have to re-enter the licensing information for all but a few, rare applications when I create a new user on my machine? Not ALL software does it, but most does (Adobe was one of the very few NOT to ask for the information again, although I do not know why).
I had to create another user because I was having BIZARRO font issues with the main user account (but none of the others), so I can't just "go back" (besides I am already through the worst of it, but would like to keep this from happening again).
Help?! Thank you in advance for any sage (or otherwise) advice.

That depends on the license agreement of the program. *If it is legal*, then you can look into the Home folder of your old account, go to the Library folder, open Preferences, and look for a file (or files) called com.[company name].[program name].plist. Then you can copy that/those files to the same place in your new account. They may also be in the Application Support folder.

What was the issue? Try deleting the com.apple.systemUIserver.plist file from the ~/Library/Preferences folder in your old account.

Inc. payments, two banks, same co.code, need different clearing account?

Are company is going through bank transition in US, and Canada, and we process 820's that post into SAP using payment advices. So, we will be getting 820's from both banks in the transition. We are on ECC6.0.
**I'm wanting to know whether we should use one clearing G/L account for both banks, or one clearing G/L account per bank?** FYI. We will also be implementing EBS from the bank to debit the bank account, and credit the clearing account.
If I should be looking at two clearing account, what is the best way to achieve this?
The configuration for automatic incoming payment advice is configured:
Payment advice - 06 (payment advice from customer(EDI). and using posting rule BE01, which points back to G/L account in the payment advice configuration.     It does not look at the bank it's coming from to determine the G/L account to post to.
I do notice that there is Additional account determination keys which looks like an additional account could be used if I setup another custom interpretative algorithm. Is this a possibility?
Is there something else I should be thinking about in doing this process?

Two items same colour swatch; showing differently!

I am constantly having this problem so I thought I'd ask for a bit of guidance.
I have a colour swatch that I use regularly, and I use it for table headers a lot. For some reason on the same page, using the same swatch the table headers look different!
Colour Settings:
Settings: Custom
RGB: Monitor - RGB - Display
CMYK: ColorSYnc CMYK - Generic CMYK Profile
Colour Management Policies:
RGB: Off
CMYK: Preserve Embedded Profiles

Reading the RGB values on that screenshot in Photoshop indicates that the orange is identical on both those headers. I think it's your monitor that makes it appear different.
You can read the CMYK values by opening the the Separations Preview pallette, switching View to Separations, and hovering over the orange area. I bet it's the same values for both headers.

Two iPads, same network

My wife & I both have an iPad and we use our home Airport Extreme based network.
Mine works fine, and recognizes two networks (one 5G, the other one normal network)
My wife's only recognizes the 5G one, and gets disconnected constantly ("server not responding")
I have tried both the network reset and the iPad reset, but the problem remains on hers.
Is there a known WiFi defect on some of the iPads?

Multiple instances of the same APEX application under SSO

Currently we have several applications that are authenticated through Oracle SSO. The apps are authenticating correctly, but I can't be in multiple instances of the same application without having to re-validate through SSO when I move between instances.
Scenario: I'm successfully signed into my "parent" application, app_id 1 through SSO. I click a custom link that opens the "child" application (app_id 2) to view widget "A". When the page is launched I see the usual "Redirecting to the Login Server for authentication" message (verifying that I'm signed in through SSO) and then it succeeds and takes me into app 2, displaying widget A. I click the next link to launch another instance of app 2 with a different APEX session id for viewing widget "B". This also passes through SSO and redirects me into app 2, displaying widget B as expected. But now if I go back to navigate anywhere on widget A in my first instance, it has to go back through the "Redirecting to Login Server." This now means the widget A window is valid, but the widget B window will have to redirect next time I use it (back & forth & so on...)
So my question I suppose is: Is it possible/good practice to allow a single user to open multiple separate instances of the same APEX application using different APEX session_ids viewing different data under Oracle Enterprise SSO?
Guesstimation: It seems like there must be a switch somewhere in SSO that says "allow multiple application instances yes/no"...but my problem may be APEX itself, or how SSO is tied into APEX... Sorry for the super-generic example, I'm not exactly sure where I should be looking to resolve this, and the closest similar problem I found on the forums was here: login to application twice in two seperate IE windows clears other login

reset your dock preferences. delete the file homedirectory/library/preferences/com.apple.dock.plist and log out/in. your dock, spaces and exposé will be reset to the defaults. see if the problem goes away.

Pls Help! Drag and Drop problem, identical symbols acting differently - same code! WHY?

In the attached file, I have a series of symbols that have a drag and drop command to change colour at different sections of a bullseye, and that are also text editable (html).
However, some of the symbols get stuck and will not be moved after moving once or at all, and some get stuck once their text has been edited.
I have poured over the code and it appears to be the same for each symbol - can anyone explain as to why this is happening?
I also cannot now edit the text properly on the ipad (it is really fiddly to change between different symbols to edit their text -- is there maybe a better way to do this? A button to change between symbols to then edit their text, can you help with this too?)

I just got and iPad 2 and am giving my wife my old iPad. She has a separate itune account for her ipod. Can we share apps on the two iPads with two different accounts running on the same computer?

I now have two iPads, which I also (need to) have separate AppleID's for. I understand I can share apps between them if I authorize iTunes on my iMac with both ID's, but I am not quite sure about the correct way to do that. I already have the iMac authorized for AppleID#1. If I go into iTunes and click on Store/Authorize this Computer... and enter my AppleID#2 information into Account name and Password boxes, does this authorize my iMac's iTunes for BOTH ID's or does it just change the authorization from ID#1 to ID#2?
If the former is correct, I understand the way to proceed is to xync up both iPads to iTunes and then I can drag and drop apps from one iPad's library listings to the other, right?
If this is not the correct way to get dual authorizations, what is?

Hello, I have no idea if my question went out, so I'll post it again. I have two iPads (one 3rd gen and one 4th) that use the same iTunes/store account. I want the two devices to game with each other, but the apps recognize them as the same. I have created two different iCloud accounts in an attempt to differentiate between the two, but no luck. How can I continue to use the same iTunes/store account for music and movies, but also have the two devices recognize each other for games?

You can share your iTunes ID and still have separate iCloud accounts with separate IDs, they don't have to be the same. If you kids don't already have an iCloud account, have them set up separate accounts on their devices using separate IDs. If they are already sharing your account, migrate their devices to separate accounts. To do this, start by saving any photo stream photos they wish to keep to ther camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tap Save to Camera Roll. If they are syncing notes with iCloud, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to them so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in their new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from thier device and won't effect your device), choose Keep on My iDevice and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7). Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create their new account and choose Merge to upload the data. Once everyone is on a separate account you can go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into each account separately and delete your data from their account.

We have two iPads connected to the MacBook with two different Midi-Sessions. Now we want to connect the every Session to a single AU-Instrument to record live but don´t get it right. In Cubase we just had to choose the Sessions as Midi-Input.

Your second post differs form your first, in the first post you said "single AU instrument", in this last post you said "separate synths". I'll address the second post.
It's a bit more difficult in Logic than Cubase which has an updated more modern MIDI system.
The iPad MIDI software will need to transmit on separate MIDI channels for each iPad.
example:
iPad #1 MIDI channel 1
iPad #2 MIDI channel 2 ...etc, doesn't matter which channels as long as they're separate.
Boot Logic:
Go to Settings/Recording and select "Auto Demix by Channel if Multitrack Recording"
Now setup your AU tracks, select separate channels in the inspector, the channels must match the transmit channels on the iPod.
You used to have to record enable the tracks, I don't believe that is necessary now.

Very easily. I have an iPod touch and iPad on the same account with totally different content.
If you use iTunes, connect each iPad to your computer and open iTunes and deselect any automatic updating/syncing. If you don't sync with iTunes but have them set up independently, under the settings, App Store, turn off automatic downloads for apps, etc.
I'm old fashioned, I set up and sync my iPad and iPod to my computer and iTunes. Each device has a different name and I manage content manually and only allow sharing on what I want shared.

Your apple ID and email settings are stored under the settings on each iPad, try changing them on your boyfriend's iPad.
