Two libraries but they have different layouts

Back again with my second query on iTunes 12. I run two libraries on one pc using itunes. I was library A when i downloaded the latest yuk version 12 and like everyone immediately notice the side bar menu had gone after searching I couldn't find how to retrieve it. However when I opened my second library, B , today it began with a message "updating itunes library" then low and behold when it oped fully there was the new itunes with the side bar on the left as it always used to be. How did I do that???? I have checked the setting and view options and all ready the same between library A & B.
Anyone got any ideas.

Right. If you move them into the iTunes Music folder manually, iTunes will not automatically detect them. Instead you have to add them to the library. If you use the default preference setting to copy added items to the iTunes Music folder, when you Drag & Drop them from the thumb drive to the iTunes library, it will copy them off the thumb drive into the iTunes Music folder location. Do you have that preference checked?

hi, the app is not "shared", it works as if you bought the app twice with different accounts, only you paid it once. they should have 2 different villages since they're on 2 different devices.

I have photos with the same numer but they are different photos how can I fix that?

you can save a file with the same name by dragging and dropping from iphoto to a Finder folder
but (and there are always buts) you can only do up to 4 photos at a time
any more and you are not given the option
This is the error message you get:

Keep Both Stop Replace
5 or more your options change
Skip Stop Replace
it will add a space and a 2 to the name
IMG_8816.JPG turns to IMG_8816 2.JPG
this is the solution I was looking for; let the computer do the name change

this is a follow up from the profane post earlier....
i have done this twice in two other posts..
here is my problem.. i started off trying to update itunes, it failed twice and said i needed to install manually via tools.
the only place to get to tools is the pop up box that appears when you click check for updates.. if there is an available update then the pop up shows up with the quick time and itunes files to download. so i finally figured that out. i clicked on tools and manual update, four files were saved to a file. Apple mobile device support, another one similar, itunes, and another one i cant remember. I only downloaded the itunes file seeing as though thats all i needed to accomplish in the first place.
so then i restarted my computer bc you need to reboot and then reopen itunes for update to take effect. once i have itunes back open i plugged in my new 5s which i am trying to sync to my computer to get all my stuff back bc i lost my previous phone over the weekend.. once i plugged the phone in an error stating i needed to unistall the apple mobile device support and itunes and then reinstall. well i dont know where those files were originally stored on my computer AND since my itunes was updated, just not the other 3 associated files, when i click check for updates it says its up to date and then pop up containing the quick time and itunes does not pop up thus i cant get back to the tools tab to manually save the 4 files again.
so i was just going to uninstall itunes all together and then i thought well what happens if it erases all my photos apps songs etc... which would defeat the whole purpose in the first place of me trying to sync my new phone to get all my stuff back.
so i literally have no idea what to do at this point.. if you have read this you are probably just as confused as me...

Besides the ethical and professional issues involved, the iPad appears to be linked to a different iTunes account than your personal one. Applications are tied to the account, not the device - so if you were able to use your personal account to install the apps in question, you'd be wiping out all the ones your employer put on.
If you feel these apps are necessary for your work, then talk to your supervisor/tech department about them purchasing additional copies for use on the iPad.

You can use your iPad charger to charge your iPhone 4S. Not recommended to use your iPhone charger to charge your iPad. So, use your iPad charger to charge both.

How many pictures (or how many bytes) are we talking? Now that the pictures are imported one way to cross users is to use a removable drive (although large volumes of files preclude this).
The other is to login as the user where the pictures are, then copy them into the public drop box of the user where you want the picture.
The arrow is showing (in ths example) copy files from the Pictures folder for my user to the guest user accounts public dropbox. When you do this you may have to authenticate and you won't be able to see the results of the copy until you log in as the other user.
All users are in the folder "/Users/"

I have deleted the iCloud account under my name on their iPads and replaced with their ones. Apple support said yesterday I needed to click the small 'I' by each name as it came up in the TO box and remove it. After doing rid for each contact under each letter of the alphabet it should remove them from latest contacts. Having done this, although I could not remove groups I had sent, I am not convinced they will not return once I have written a few texts, any ideas?

The latest edition is corrupted and you need to fix this.

They are free to People who have purchased ios devices after a cetain date(September 2013).
Those that have devices purchased before then have to pay.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
