Two MacBooks with a mg6320 - one can scan the other cannot

Hi all,
I have two Macbook Pro's, both running Mavericks. I have not installed any Canon printer software on either. On one of the macbook pro's, I can scan from my wifi connected MG6320 from the built in Preview app. On the other, I cannot. It says that "Software for this device is not installed." I have the MG6320 set up on both using Airprint. What gives?

Nevermind, I figured it out! There was an install button I could click in the Preview app to install the necessary drivers. It's working now.

Edit the SMTP server list. Add a new one for the business account. Put the correct password and information for it. Give it a description so you will know which server is which. Mke sure the correct server is highlighted in the account selected and check the box to use only that server for that account. Do that for the other account also.

Problem running iTunes for two users on same computer, one works fine, the other keeps locking up and shutting down iTunes

I have two users on one computer. I have iTunes set up for both users. For one user (mine) iTunes works just fine. For the other user (my wife), Itunes opens up but then locks up and shuts off. Any suggestions? Thanks

Calendar synching with iphone ok one way, not the other

I've recently acquired the iphone and have been successful synching my calendar (on Entourage) with events entered on the computer, but cannot synch events entred on the iphone back to the computer. any ideas or help for this? Calendering is one of the primary reasons I purchased this phone over other devices because it was said to be compatible with entourage.

LightRoom 5 on two computers. will action on one catalog affect the other?

I have LR 5 installed on my MacBookPro laptop and my iMac. Will an action taken on one to delete a file affect LR catalog on the other computer?

The catalog on each computer is separate. If you delete a file on one computer, and then copying that catalog to the other computer, then the deleted image will not show in the catalog. However, that image will still be on the hard drive on the second computer.

I am just trying the Creative Cloud
I have 2 computers :
* one is an old 32 bits with an internet connection
* one- in another place - is a 64 bits but with no access to internet connection
I want to install After Effects CS6 on the 64 bits PC which has no internet connecion
Is it possible by
1/ downloading After Effects by the internet connection on the 32 bits PC ?
2/ transferring it on the 64 bits PC
3/ What to do next ? Enter a serial number as I have suscribed to Creative Cloud ?
How to obtain it ??

Gizmo2D3D Internet connection is required to utilize the Creative Cloud. You could install a trial, connect to the Internet on the 64-bit system, and then sign in using the Adobe ID tied to your subscription. You would need to repeat this process at least every 30 days or less to allow the software to verify your eligibility to use the software however.
Is there no option of providing a wireless connection or some other way of accessing the Internet on the 64-bit computer? If not then I would recommend purchasing a perpetual version of our software as opposed to a subscription.

You can delete the empty one by dragging it to the trash ( test everything before emptying the trash)
Merging libraries requires iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - it is the only current solution to merging libraries

That's a kernel panic and indicates some sort of problem either with the computer's hardware or software. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on diagnosing kernel panics. It would help to post the panic log: Mac OS X- How to log a kernel panic.
Meanwhile, try booting the computers into Safe Mode then restarting normally. If this is simply a disk repair or cache file problem then this may fix it.
You can also try creating a new admin account on each computer then booting into the new account. This would help determine if the problem is related to a bad file in the user accounts.

If not does anyone have another suggestion how not to pay that much money to buy a new one and/ or maybe seling my old one for some money ?

No. but you can sell it privately and use the proceeds towards a newer used model.

I am having the exact same problem with the iMessage on both my MacBook pro and my iphone4. It either says the username/password is incorrect or it can not contact the server. Facetime and iCloud works just fine with the same apple id and password. Somebody please help, I am beyond frustrated!
