Two menu entries for every application in Gnome-Shell?!

I have two menu entries for every application, which is kind of annoying, because the menu needs more time to load at startup!

bugs, bugs , bugs!!!!
I got rid of that preoblem by going back to fallback mode, booting one time and then going back
to shell menu! Hope it works for you people as well!!
edit: no seems only to work sometimes, the icons change arbitrarily each time you reboot!

Menu Bar for Struts application

Hi All,
We are developing the Struts based Web Application using Hibernate and for this we need the Menu Bar for all the pages in the application.But we are unable to write the code for the menu bar using java classes.
If possible please send the code for the issue.

Menu bars for all applications are unusable

I have a new MacBook that was running Tiger when I opened up the box. I noticed that sometimes the Finder menu bar failed to respond when the cursor was passed over it or any item in it was clicked on (normally I'd expect to see the menu items drop down). I updated to OS to Leopard but although the menus worked for a bit, now they're acting up again. Oddly, the items to the right of the bar (Airport, Bluetooth, etc.) still work.
I looked through the threads and one of them suggested using the Disk Utility to repair permissions and zapping the PRAM, which I did. The logging from the repair didn't give up much -- just the following for a bunch of languages:
ACL found but not expected on "System/Library/User Template/English.lproj/Desktop".
Anyone think of anything that might be causing this? Maybe a software conflict with something I migrated over from the previous iBook?

Steps taken:
(1) slaved the iBook to the MacBook and migrated the configuration from the old to the new notebook. Both the iBook and the MacBook were at that time running Tiger -- the iBook has a 30GB stock hard drive in it and other than Office X and some shareware was relatively clean. The migration had one hiccup - I was using an olde version of iPhoto and when I opened it I was prompted to update the thumbnails in my picture library. This essentially froze the application when the progress bar was about a quarter done. In the end I fixed that.
When I noticed the problem with the menu bars (which by the way appear to be somewhat translucent), I tried rebooting a couple of times. At this point, the problem was random and appeared only to affect the Finder Menu bar. So a reboot had the effect of seeming like it was fixing it. When it didn't go away, I was looking arounf and hit About This Mac and discovered Leopard was uninstalled. I opened the software box and found the install disk, so I ran it. Again, the problem appeared to go away.
I didn't use the MacBook for about a week, maybe ten days, and thenlast night I noticed that the problem affected all menu bars regardless of application.Tried rebooting. No go. Tried reparing permissions - no problems found. Zapped he PRAM three or four times. No workee.
That's where I'm at now.
I have Disk Warrior and Drive Genius, but I haven't tried them yet because (a) I thought this miht be a simple issue resolvasble on the threads, and (b) I bought them when I was running 10.3 on G3s and G4s respectively, and wasn't sure they were Leopard or Intel compatible.

Business is doing stock transfer transaction. Here with reference to stock transfer PO when business is doing Goods Issue.
here there is two stock transfer PO. in one PO there is two line items for the same material. in the second PO again same material with two line items.
but at the tme of Goods issue it is showing two seperate line for same material stock account credit in accounting document. but in the other Goods issue with reference to second PO it is showing only one line for inventory account credit in the accounting dcoument.
so pl. guide me on this.

Two entries for every technical system for XI in SLD

Hi,
Last weekend we had a patch upgrade in our Production env for SAP PI system.
After that we got the Cache error (Cache notification from Integration Directory failedError when accessing the System Landscape Directory) in RWB -- "Cache Connectivity Test -> IR -> ID -> Adapter Engines".
And
In SLD->Technical Systems->all (Adapter Engine, Integration Directory, Integration Repository, RWB).
e.g.:There are two Adapter Engines:
Adapter Engine on p80.p80xxxxx
and
Adapter Engine on p80.p80xxxxx\p80
Our Basis team contacted SAP for help & SAP has suggested as below.
"We compared the SLD->Technical Systems for QA (Q80) and PROD (P80), and found that for the production box (P80), each XI component is registered Twice.
Now as per the note 764176, we have to delete the entries in the SLD -> Technical Systems. And these will be re-created after a restart.
Could you please let us know whether these have been maintained for any special reason or we can go ahead and delete them."
If you have any idea if those two should be maintained or not, please suggest how to proceed.

[PCManFM] No entries for default applications

I must have done something stupid while trying to clean out useless entries from the pcmanfm "Open with" menu—since I did that, the dialog that should be displaying desktop files is empty:
All I did was to delete everything in ~/.local/share/applications and recreate the local mime database (in case that is even necessary, I just recently read up on mime type handling).
I didn't touch a thing in /usr/share/applications, though, and even the desktop files that reside in there aren't displayed in the dialog as you can see. I also tried accessing the same dialog with thunar and that worked fine. I reinstalled pcmanfm, updated mime/desktop databases, installed pcmanfm-git instead of the version of pcmanfm that is in the repos, and reinstalled shared-mime-info, menu-cache, and libfm/libfm-git—all to no avail.
Any pointers?

Development menu disappear for one application only

Hello,
For one of my application, when I run it from application builder, the apex development standard menu at bottom of each screen (where we have Modify app, Modify current page, Create, Session, Debug, etc.) does not appear. It was there few weeks ago...
For all others applications I have it.
I don't remember what I did to get this situation. Any idea if exist a parameter to hide it?

The "Available with Edit links" is what makes the Developer toolbar appear at the bottom of the page when you run it via the Builder.

Remove entries from Applications view: Gnome-Shell

I want to Hide certain applications from showing in Activities-Applications view. I have read the WIKI. I did not understand how exacty to "edit .desktop files to fit" my wishes.
Do I have to enter all .desktop files to /usr/share/applications/foo.desktop or just those I don't want displayed or those I want displayed?
Need help understanding the process.

You can hide stuff with gmenu-simple-editor. You've probably already got it installed, its in the gnome-menus package.
And alacarte as mentioned above is better for anything more than just show/hide.

"Application not available" for every application ...

I'm hoping this is an easy one...
I have a Lumia 710 with the latest software. I reinstalled the OS on my laptop, and reinstalled Zune. I connected my Lumia and change the sync partnership type from Guest and everything looked OK.
Since then, when I connect to the App Marketplace and irrespective of what application I select, I get the message "Application not available. This might be because your phone software needs to be updated..." message.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

If you go to Microsoft store on your PC and you sign in with your Microsoft account you should be able to select apps and install them to the phone without the need of Zune. If this works and you can also install apps directly on your phone I'd contact Microsoft Store Support for further assistance.

[Solved] Change preferred applications in gnome-shell

I already do know that you can change the preferred application for a particular file type by right-clicking and then "open with other application" and choosing the default application. However I use .tex files extensively and installed Texworks (V0.4) to handle it. However when I click on .tex file in nautilus it always opens with gedit. I clicked on "open with other application", however that list did not show Texworks.
On searching through arch wiki and google, I found some posts saying if you can add the file type association in the file ~.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list. However I do not know the syntax for .tex file type.
Is there a way to add Texworks to "open with other application list? Or is there any other command line way?

Your program should show up if you add a *.desktop file (e. g. to /usr/share/applications or ~.local/share/applications/). The important piece is the exec line, which has to look like this:
Exec=yourprogram %U

Edit gnome menu globaly (for all new users)?

Is there some let say clean way to edit default gnome menu entries for new users?
I know about alacarte, but it edits just users menu.
What exactly I need, Im preparing a unified arch desktop fot a lot of computers in our office. And I will copy the prepared desktop to all the computers edit things that are host specific and create new user. But 95% users will use 30% of same menu entries, the rest entries are useless for them. I dont want to edit menu for each new single user. But there are let say few users that will use much of the entries, but it is not problem to enable that for few specific users (alse those understand what they are doing so they could do it themselves).
I was thinking about that like gconf editor for global settings.
My workaround will be to copy to every new created user prepared ./.config/menus ./.local/share but I isnt so much elegant:(
Or maybe there are same files somewhere global but I dont know where (I will replace them with the prepared one)
