Two monitors in the MAC OS X Lion

How do I make when changing the desktop on the first screen, the desktop has not changed on the second monitor?
On the second monitor I have an open trading system program and I want it to be always open and there has not disappeared from sight.
But for example, when the first monitor I switch to Desktop 2 (where I discovered the Client-Bank - to see the payments and to drive them into the trading system), then on a second monitor, I also changed to a blank desktop (Space). It is not wildly comfortable!
In general it is not clear why have cleaned Space!!! It was so easy for a professional job! I always remember visually what program in which I have an open Space.
For example, in the first Space (MAC OS X 10.x) on the top left open MAC OS X, the second right at the top of Parallels Desktop Windows 7, in the third left at the bottom of Remote Access Windows Server 2008 with retail trading system, and the bottom right terminal access Windows Server 2008 with wholesale Commerce system).
To quickly switch between Space, I just had enough to click the desired area of the screen.
And now I have to look into those tiny desktop that constantly intermingle with each other. In addition to drag a window from the desktop to the desktop has become a torture! To move a window, you must make an active desktop where the window is !!!!!!!!
Return Space as an alternative to the professionals. For housewives leave desktops.
sorry for my French

No, you can't partition a Time Capsule's internal HD.  Both partitions will back up to the same sparse bundle. keeping the backups for each partition separate.
Time Machine will not take the two OSX partitions as two different computers, but for best results, exclude the Snow Leopard drive from backups on the Lion partition, and exclude the Lion partition from backups on the Snow Leopard partition.
There may be some files on the Lion partition that Time Machine on Snow Leopard won't like, among other things.  See #10 in  Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions for details.

  • Can I connect two monitors to a Mac Mini?

Can I connect two Monitors to a mac mini

Yes, but how depends on what model of Mini and what kind of monitors.  Early models only had one monitor port.  Later models had a Mini-DVI port and a Mini-Displayport.  Current models have a Mini-Displayport and a HDMI port.  The Mini-DVI and Mini-Displayport can attach VGA or DVI monitors, whereas the HDMI port can't use VGA monitors.
Beyond that, you can get Matrox's DualHead2Go or a USB->VGA or USB->DVI adapter.  The Matrox product is a bit expensive and the USB adapters are a bit to slow for games and such.  So, again, the answer is "yes", but with limitations

can i connect two monitors to my mac book pro with HDMI?

I retract my previous "No." If you can live with limited performance (slow refresh/choppy action video/no gaming) on the second external monitor, you could use a USB video adapter and a DVI-HDMI adapter to connect it to a USB port on your computer.

Just a note about the system information that appears below your post: iOS 4.3.3 does not run on Macs, only on iPods, iPads and iPhones. When you're posting about your MBP, it would be more useful to those responding to know which version of Mac OS X you're running. Doesn't matter for purposes of this post, but something to remember for future posts.

  • I have this iMac late 2006 and I want to install the Mac OS X Lion

    Hello,
I want to install Mac os X lion, (not mountain lion) on my iMac Late 2006 , but it is no longer available in the mac app store. How can I do to install the Mac OS X Lion on  my computer?
The thing is that i was hoping the the mountain lion was compatible with my iMac, so is there a way i can still get the Mac OS X lion?

Apple for some dumb reason removed it from the App store, so you now have to call them and ask for it.  I also have a Late 2006 Mac Pro and luckily I took the plung awhile ago and bought it from the App store.  Since they cut off so many machines still being used they should have left Lion in the store.  Any 2006-2007 Mac Pro and any other Mac that has a video card that doesn't have 64b drivers cannot go to Mountain Lion.

  • I AM TRYING TO HOOK UP TWO MONITORS AT THE SAME TIME

I AM TRYING TO HOOK UP TWO MONITORS AT THE SAME TIME. I have had no success in figuring out why I can get an image on my TV and an image on my monitor (at the same time), but no icons, no start menu and no keyboard access. M y computer freezes as well when I try to do 2 monitors.

    Hi,
    Your machine has:
*Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed.
Radeon HD 6370D, 6410D, 6530D or 6550D Graphics (model dependent based on processor)
Supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards
Two DVI-D ports (Both ports can be used at the same time)
You can use TWO monitors with the right connections for two ports #3 above. You can get more information from the following instructions:

  • I want to output to two monitors:  2011 (July) Mac Mini

I want to use my new mini with my two monitors.  The HDMI output will handle one, but what can I do with the Thunderbolt output to handle the other.  My monitors have DMI and VGA options only.  Thanks.

You're right and I did.  Everything works now.  Thanks.  PS:  I got the cable at Fry's for $15.00 and see them online for about as low as $8.00.  Not real Apple parts, but worth considering.

  • Why won't my iMac print consistantly to my compatible HP 6500A? I've checked for updates and downloaded the lasted software...still can't print. All my other Mac devices find the printer but the iMac is hit and miss. I'm operating the Mac OS X Lion 10.7.

When you say hit and miss do you mean sometimes you print a whole document with no problems, or do you mean each document has problems? This is from HP's website for your printer:
Your sig says 10.6.7 but your message says 10.7. So if it's really Lion, this printer isn't officially supported. Elsewhere on HP's site it says updated drivers will be available on your Mac via Software Update. Have you run that recently?

  • How to install the mac os x lion???

i have installed the mac os x lion developer review. now im trying to install the offcial one but it doesnt work.
it says :"this disk cannot be used to start up your computer".
    please help!!!

I would submit the bug request to the Developer feedback mechanisms.  Your action of running the Developer preview is under a non-disclosure agreement.  Hence any issues with the Preview should only be submitted via the channels you got the Developer preview from within.  One that is known to all is http://bugreporter.apple.com/ If you got it without ever getting a non-disclosure agreement, you are in violation of Apple's agreements and should erase it from your machine, and start over again with a licensed 10.6 that either was first used to install 10.6 on your machine, or a newer retail edition.  10.6 came in 10.6, and 10.6.3 retail editions.  If your Mac was new after March 1st, 2010, it came with its own Mac Mini 10.6.3 or later installer disc which must be used to install 10.6.  Otherwise the retail 10.6.3 should work, as long as it doesn't say Upgrade, Dropin, OEM, or any specific Mac model.  Finally, apply the 10.6.6, 10.6.7, 10.6.8 combo update before upgrading to Lion from the Mac App Store if all your applications are ready for Lion.

Right click the hard drive icon and select Get Info. In the new pane, on the bottom, do this:
    1. click the padlock, and authenticate with your password.
    2. change Privilege to Read & Write - just click what is there and options will appear.
    3. close the pane.

where from i can buy the mac os x lion because i am using windows base system when i try to buy from apple web side it show in app store only not in itunes

Have you tried booting from the Recovery HD to reinstall Lion?
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
You will need the Apple ID and password used to purchase Lion. If you have not purchased Lion, then you will need to purchase the Snow Leopard DVD and install Snow Leopard then update it to 10.6.8 to access the App Store where you can purchase and download Lion under your own Apple ID. Or you can purchase the Apple USB Lion installer flash drive at any local Apple retailer or the Online Store.
