Two Negative points in ICS

First of all i appreciate Sony for their work on ICS.
But i found two major negative points in ICS.
1) Screenshot is no longer available in this version,
2) When screen is in lock, it does not show the Notifications for Unread messages, Missed calls and others notificationt
I request u to update the version by solving this issue.

As far as I am aware, the last point you made is correct but may be something which included in the future. Once you have received the update for your particular handset, I'd suggest testing these features and providing feedback on the following link

  • Massive Negative Point Balance and Reward Certificates That I Don't Want

    I made a purchase near black friday and then returned it January (it was defective). In the meantime I was issued $15 in certificates. After the return I now have a massive negative point balance (-363). I don't like having such a negative points balance and I don't need purchase anything in the time-frame before the certificates expire. I would therefore like to return (or invalidate) the certificates and have those points added back to my account. Also if I remember correctly I only returned a $200 tablet, so I don't understand how I got to -363 points.
    Thank you
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Greetings jl2015, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,
    I would not want to have a negative point balance either, as it could potentially cause issues with any points that are awarded for purchases you make in the future.  I looked over your My Best Buy™ account using the email address you registered with the forum and can see exactly why your point balance went negative.  Let me see what I can do to help.
    As you mentioned, you recently returned an item that had been purchased back on Black Friday.  That return would have resulted in any points you were awarded for the original purchase to be deducted from your account, and since the pre-tax total was about $200 and you used a Best Buy credit card, almost 500 points were deducted from your account.  You did not have sufficient points in your account when the return was processed because they had been converted into two certificates.
    In most cases, active certificates in a member's account will be voided and the point values added to their balance in-order to help when there is a negative balance.  The two certificates that you have in your account could help bring you out of the negative.  I will be sending you a private message so that I can go over your My Best Buy™ account with you in additional detail.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the envelope at the top of the page.
    Thank you for posting and for being a My Best Buy™ member!

  • How can I find out the angle of a straight line between two anchor points?

    I would like to extend a line which is at a given angle (not 45,90 degree). Is there a quick and reliable way to do this? or to find out the angle of a segment?
    What I'm doing at the moment is just direct selecting an anchor point and using the visual guides to extend it. I don't think this is exact though so was I wondering if anyone had any techniques for doing this?
    Thanks!

    portfelio,
    Smart Guides are your friends.
    As a general solution, you may:
    1) With the Line Segment Tool ClickDrag between the two Anchor Points (Smart Guides say anchor);
    2) With the appropriate Reference Point selected in the Transform palette, increase the W or H value and Ctrl/Cmd+Enter;
    3) Lock the new auxiliary line;
    4) ClickDrag the relevant Anchor Point of the original line along the extended auxiliary line (Smart Guides say path);
    5) Unlock and delete the auxiliary line.
    After 1), you may also click the Line Segment Tool to see the angle.
    Or,  in a case with a straight path (segment), you may use the Scale Tool:
    1) (Direct) Select the straight path (segment);
    2) Switch to the Scale Tool and Click the Anchor Point that is to stay, then ClickDrag the one to move (Smart Guides say uniform when you are dragging in the right direction).

  • Color Highlights not working in bar chart with two data points

    Iu2019m using Crystal Reports 2011.  I have created a bar graph using two data fields in the Chart Expert.  I have set the colors for the bars in the Color Highlights tab, but the colors that I have defined have not been applied to the graph.
    I have tried changing the colors numerous times and have done it in both design and preview modes.  It seems to be somethign with having two data points because I don't have this problem when using just one data point.  Please help!

    is the colour mode Color by group or color by series

  • Measuring power at two different point (single phase)

    Hi all,
    I am new user of LabVIEW 2013 with electrical power suite.
    May i know how to measure two different point of single phase system using the same VI such as in DAQ power and energy example?
    As I notice that there are several type of wiring available. Is only one voltage and one current availabe during 1 ph voltage and 1 current selection. Thus, when I select 3ph voltage and 2 current, the value I obtain is not seem to be true.
    From the figure attached, I want to measure the voltage at current at the solar/PV  to obtain the power value. Other than that, I also need to measure the voltage and current at the load such as water heater. This is a single phase configuration network.
    (2 voltage and 2 current measurement at single phase)
    Hope for guidance.

    Hi Lewis,
    Here attached the file.
    Actually I wanted to measure power two different point in a single phase system as shown in the first attachement.
    Since, there is example in power quality measurement(DAQ) as shown in the second attachment.
    since there is two measuring point in my measurement. May i know how to obtain two measurement voltage at the same time in DAQ?
    Hope for guidance.

    ¿Any help or ideas?

    The post of dlew86 is the good way to do it, but there is some errors in what he wrote:
    First, you need to know what is the label of the firmware partition:
    $ lshal -u `hal-find-by-property --key block.device --string /dev/sdd1` | grep volume.label
    volume.label = 'iPod' (string)
    replace '/dev/sdd1' by the device your ipod uses. The default label is 'iPod', but if you installed RockBox, it is probably different.
    Now, create a fdi file in /etc/hal/fdi/policy/, e.g. 99-ipod-ignore-firmware.fdi (.fdi, not .rules like owain wrote):
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <deviceinfo version="0.2">
    <device>
    <match key="volume.label" string="iPod">
    <merge key="volume.ignore" type="bool">true</merge>
    </match>
    </device>
    </deviceinfo>
    Replace "iPod" by the label you got with the lshal command.
    If volume.label is empty, you can match against the volume.uuid property instead. But in this case, the rule will apply to your ipod only.
    Now, restart hal:
    # /etc/rc.d/hal restart
    It restart fails, it is probably due to some hald helpers still running. This should solve the problem:
    # pkill hald
    # /etc/rc.d/hal start

  • Two decimal points

    Greetings
    What would be the syntax if I want to use use '999G999G990D00' to show only two decimal points for outstanding_receipt_value in the following
    ((declared_quantity - delivered_qty) * po_unit_price) outstanding_receipt_valueThank you

    if i understand your posting correctly and you want only those numbers that are covered by decimal. you might want to give this a try.
    substr(to_char(((declared_quantity - delivered_qty) * po_unit_price),'999G999G990D00'),
           instr(to_char(((declared_quantity - delivered_qty) * po_unit_price),'999G999G990D00') ,'.')+1) new_stre.g.
    SQL> select str,
      2         instr(str,'.') pos,
      3         substr(str,instr(str,'.')+1) new_str
      4     from (select to_char(123456789.99,'999G999G990D00') str from dual);
    STR                    POS NEW_STR
    123,456,789.99         13 99

  • Two Datasources pointing to one connection pool...

    Hi All,
    I have heard you should not have two datasources pointing to one connection pool that each datasource should have it's own pool. What type problems would occur if you did that in WLS 8.1? I heard in 9.2 and above you are not allowed to do that and I suspect it is because of some issue doing many (datasources) to one (connection pool).
    Any comments about this?
    Thanks,

  • How to delete a path between two anchor points

    hi ,
    it's all in the title ,
    could you tell me  please how to delete a path between two anchor points without using the path eraser tool ?
    When I select these two anchor points and press delete everything is gone.
    ps : I want to keep the anchor points after the deletion
    Thank you

    With some experimentation, I did find that selecting the path can leave orphan points. So keep that in mind as it may be necessary to use Object>Path>Clean up...
    You will not get orphan points if you delete a segment that is not at the end of a path.  For segment that is at the end of a path, or is the entire path, select the end point/s and press delete. For the one segment that is entire path you can use the selection tool (black pointer) or hold Alt with the direct selection tool (white pointer) which is useful for objects in a group.

  • Precision to two decimal points and...

    How do I format an output line for two decimal point precision with a double variable?
    also...
    What is the best way to clear the screen? I am using the sun compiler with Windows 2000.

    He's right, using Java to clear the screen is not pretty. Here is a rudementary solution:
    public class ClearScreen {
       public static void main(String args[]) {
          //clear the screen
          String[] commands = new String[4];
          commands[0] = "mode.com";
          commands[1] ="con";
          commands[2] = "cols=80";
          commands[3] = "lines=50";
          try {
             Runtime.getRuntime().exec(commands);
          } catch (java.io.IOException ioe) { ioe.printStackTrace(); }
          //print a formatted decimal number (see DecimalFormat API to format the way you want)
          double someNumber = 1234347.657687;
          java.text.DecimalFormat formatter = new java.text.DecimalFormat("#,##0.00;(#,##0.00)");
          System.out.println(formatter.format(someNumber));

  • Two folders pointing to the same document

    Hi,
    can two KM folders point to the same document?
    for e.g.
    say I have two users 1) a business person 2) a technical person.
    I have two folder structures 1) a technical structure 2) a business structure with each having access to the all the folders structures.
    say tech folder structure has a folder called ep and business folder structure has a folder called client1. The technical person uploads a document of client1 project that is related to ep in the ep folder that is part of the technical strucure.
    How do I make it possible to access the document in both the folders(ep and client1)? I don't want redundant documents as it can cause the changes not to get reflected.

    Hi,
      You can do that using taxonomies. You upload the document, assign metadata and then by mean TREX index is classified.
      You create KM Navigation Iviews to point these taxonomies folders.
      You can read about taxonomies:  http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/6c/5145b1d1de11d6b2cc00508b6b8b11/frameset.htm

  • Two 9IAS pointing to the same orgin database !!

    Hello Guys,
    I need to setup such way that
    two 9IAS machines will be pointing to
    the same origin machine (i.e third m/c) !!!
    By doubt is what are products we need to install in the second machine !!!
    Let us say in the first machine, I install the following products
    Oracle9ias database cache
    oracle 9ias forms and reports services
    oracle http server in non-ssl mode
    oracle 9ias web cache
    oracle 9ias portal
    oracle 9ias discoverer
    oracle management server
    Let me guess, what should be install in second machine
    Oracle9ias database cache - yes
    oracle 9ias forms and reports services - yes
    oracle http server in non-ssl mode - yes
    oracle 9ias web cache - yes
    oracle 9ias portal - no
    oracle 9ias discoverer - yes
    oracle management server - yes
    Please let me know whether my jugement is right or not !!!
    I am only scared whether the original products(i.e first machine) will
    get updated !!!
    Thanks for your time !!!

    kishore, I don't see any problem installing iAS on two different machines, if that's what you mean. Whatever you install on the 'second' machine will not affect the first. Since they have the different oraInventory location.

  • Reading two data points at a time in Excel

    I would like some help on a programming issue:
    I know how to read whole excel data sets but how do you read two points at a time?  I would like to extract a number from row 1 column 1 and row 1 column 2.  I will use these numbers simultaneously as for loop counters.  Then the program should read row 2 column 1 and row 2 column 2.  This pattern should continue (number of times unknown) until the two numbers both equal 0.
    Please help me with any suggestions you have.
    Thanks ahead of time!

    Hi mtcellar65
    1. you know how to read the whole excel data -  just read the 2D Array (whole information)
    2. extract the single elements using 'Index Array' Function.
     the index for row and column can be kept in a shift register.
    3. increment the indices and repeat step 2 again
    hope this helps

  • Straight line between two polar points

    Hi all,
    I've created a VI which would be plotting a polar curve depending on the time-distance formula. The VI has Present Mag. and Target Mag. each having its own angle (Polar form i.e. (r,theta)). I want to plot a straight line between the Present point and the Target point. I used the time-distance formula to plot the magnitude, and used the same slope for plotting angle. However, I get a curved plot as shown in the attachment.
    Could anyone tell me what formula can be used to plot a straight line between the Present point and the Target point?
    Thanks.

    @altenbach....
    how can we do that?
    To say in short,
    I have two points A(magnitude1,phase1[deg]) and B(magnitude2,phase2[deg]) on the input side. Also, I have the Time input to travel from pt.A to pt.B
    I have one polar plot as indicator output.
    I need to show on the polar plot a line which is gradually increasing from pt.A to pt.B in a straight line on the polar plot.
    You may refer the picture attached in the first post above to get an idea of what I am trying to do.
    Thanks!
