Two POP in Library Users. POP- and POP/

Hi,
I continue to struggle to get my mail straightened out. Thanks for the help
In Library/mail I have two POP entries POP - and POP /
Both have the following mail range POP/ 2141 to 26189 and POP / 26303 to 42087.
I would like to merge the messages from one into the other. But there is an overlap of numbers and I don't want to overwrite valid messages.
I would also like to find out as to which POP is teh valid one and if I can merge the messages I would like to delete the POP - or the POP /
Which is the valid library/mail POP dash - or POP slash /

Hi Ranjit.
The right account folder would be “POP-...”, but Mail might be using the “POP/...” one. Try this:
1. Quit Mail.
2. Move the “POP/...” account folder to the Desktop and rename it so that it doesn’t contain extraneous characters (the slash in particular), e.g. to “OldAccount”.
3. Open Mail. Check that everything is as it was before and that Mail has not created the “POP/...” account folder again in ~/Library/Mail/.
4. In Mail, do File > Import Mailboxes, choose Mail for Mac OS X as the data format, and follow the instructions to import the “OldAccount” folder that’s on the Desktop.

IAC view and BSP iviews gives pop up for user id and password

Hello All,
I am facing a problem in quality portal.
we have SSO configuration between Portal and ECC system and the Jco connection using SSO with login tickets are working fine,test and ping both are succesfull.
The ESS and MSS webdynpro application are also working fine.
But the IAC iviews and BSP iviews says "session managment will not work ! Please check the DMS log files for details" and then ask for user id and password of the ECC system,But the system alias that i am using,is configured for SSO with logon tickets.
same iviews are working fine in devlopment system with system alias with SSO Login tickets but in qa it is asking for id and password ...
I have checked all the system properties also FQDN of ECC system is also maintained.
Please suggest what could be the issue ??

Hi,
When messages about Session management popup then it is 99% an FQDN issue, but you say you already checked it.
Did you also checked the parameters:
- ITS Host Name
- Web AS Host Name
... in your system object?

Two WRT150N Questions - Change User Name and X-conn a hub

Hi Folks,
I did a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for in the archives.
1) I previously had a WRT54GX400 - I believe I was able to change the admin username on that model. Can I do the same thing on the 150N?
2) I am planning to cross-link a small hub so I can get more wired connections on the 150. Is there a particular port that I need to plug that cable into so I can cascade the signal to the hub or will any of them do? Will I need a cross-connect cable?

While running the CD for the first time to setup the router, You can change the username & password for the router.However you can Change the router's password only by login into the Linksys GUI.To access the GUI, You need to type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar...Keep the username blank and in password type "admin " in lower case.Under Administration tab..you can change the password.

User ID and password Popup in Client proxy

Hi Experts,
I created a client proxy to consume a webservice.When i execute the proxy, it pops up for user id and password,
i created one logiccal port also using tcode SOAMANAGER. during creation of the logical port, i entered teh user id adn password. but still it prompts for user credentials at the time of execution.
on the popup first line is "Resource - protected web service"
then option for user id and password.
How can i pass the user id and password programatically.

Hi everyone I running apex 4.2 against oracle 12c database.
I have imported an application and install it into my workspace.
Anytime I tried to run the application , I get this pop up to login for XDB user name and password .
I have tried all the admin user name and password I can think of during my apex installation . Nothing seems to work.
I want to disable this authentication so that it doesnt appear agian. Please I need help.

    Please check the status of the users whether they are open:
Login into SQL Plus with SYS user and SYSDBA privilege
Check the status of the users:
SELECT USERNAME
     , ACCOUNT_STATUS
FROM DBA_USERS
WHERE USERNAME IN ('ANONYMOUS','XDB');
    NOTE : If the account status is not OPEN then follow the next step to unlock the accounts.
Unlock the locked/expired users with valid password:
ALTER USER anonymous IDENTIFIED BY "password" ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
ALTER USER xdb IDENTIFIED BY "password" ACCOUNT UNLOCK;
    NOTE : Replace "password" with a valid password.
    Also check whether the ANONYMOUS user has CREATE SESSION privilege. If not grant the privilege:
GRANT CREATE SESSION TO ANONYMOUS;

User Library - User Roles RoboSource 3

When using RoboHelp Server 7 and RoboSource Control 3.1,
there is a short help topic that describes the User Library - User
Roles - and each permission (what it enables or disables). This is
pretty brief information. I'm having many different issues with
getting permissions set up for each of the authors on my technical
writing team at my company. Does anyone out there have any more
information (more details) on what each permission does and
enables? I don't think I should have to assign all rights,
especially admin and subadmin to all of my users just to get
everything working the way I want it to.

Finally got an answer from Adobe customer support. Having
gone back and forth for a while with a web case and getting no
where fast, I called and talked to the customer support
representative on the telephone. A couple of things helped clarify
my issue. First of all, the difference between X5 and RH7 source
control is that the default behavior when deleting using the client
is now to "hide" topics rather than delete them from the database
permanently. You can keep users from bringing those topics back by
not giving them the unhide right. The only way to actually delete a
topic from the database permanently now is to use the RoboSource
Control Explorer, which breaks the project. Of course, I just check
out the folder fpj file, modify it myself, and check it back in to
fix that issue. But who wants to do that all the time? And not all
of us understand XML and are able to do that. OK, so that is the
first issue. One has to understand that hiding is deleting now. But
on to the second issue. Why was the topic I was deleting only being
hidden from me and not all of the other users are our team? Turns
out I should not be giving Admin and Sub-Admin rights to myself as
an authoring user. Only the "Admin" user account should have these
rights, and only for administration, only use the Admin account.
After removing these rights, I was then able to delete topics and
the topics would then not show up for any of my team. I also found
another issue resolved by taking these rights from my authoring
user account. When I had the admin and sub-admin rights, I could
not re-import topics another time. I would get a message that said
the topic already existed in the project. After removing the
rights, I could then choose to overwrite the existing topic or not.
Thus, my other post in this RoboSource Control forum about wanting
more than a one-liner on user rights is even more important. I
submitted a feature request for better documentation of user
rights. Let's hope someone listens!

I receive a pop-up from ICal saying the server does not recognize my user name and password for my me.com email address. This started yesterday and occurs about every 5 minutes or so. There are no problems with receiving or sending email through Mail. I did change me email password several days ago but have no problems sending/receiving since then.

I fixed the problem. I opened Preferences in ICal and entered my new password. No more pop-ups

Pop-up is displayed requesting for a WAS user id and password

Hi SDN,
I created a BEx iView based on Template-id. I am using single sign-on with user mapping. When i logged on to portal everything is working fine but initially a pop-up is displayed requesting for a WAS user id and password of the BW system.
I have mapped the Portal user with the BW user-id and password.
Can any one suggest me how suppress initial pop-up.

Hi Basha,
When you run the report from SICF you will definitely get the popup for authentication, as you are sending request directly on BW WAS.
The reason behind you are getting popup in portal is that you have not used FQDN for BW server in WAS properties of System Object. Try to maintain same domain name for Portal and BW server.This you can easily achieve by modifying host file.
e.g. <EP server IP> EPserver.abc.com
<BW server IP> BWserver.abc.com
Use "BWserver.abc.com" in WAS hostname under system properties.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are having issue relating to the iCloud account after changing your Apple ID email address. The following article addresses this issue and potential resolution:

3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
1. Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
2. Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
3. Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
4. Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

Is the AppleID listed in Settings --> Store and Settings --> iCloud the same?
If it is a totally different ID and not a slight variation of yours, I would definitely take it back to the store. You may have bought a returned item that had been setup previously.

You are asking several different questions. If you need to store your photos, music, and movies on an external volume, you certainly can. Any externally connected hard disk drive will work, connected either directly to your Mac or to your Time Capsule as a shared volume.
You should not rely upon using that as a backup device though. Although you certainly may use it for both purposes, it is a better idea to have dedicated backup devices for a variety of reasons not limited to redundancy. You would not want to simultaneously lose all your pictures as well as your backup. If they are all on the same device, that could happen. Furthermore, a backup cannot back up the volume on which it is running.
As for adding an Extreme or Express, using its LAN port for your iMac, and then enable Internet sharing so you can effectively use the iMac as a "hotspot", you can do that too, but I am unclear on what benefit you believe this arrangement would convey for you.
An Extreme's Guest network is separate from its Main network; that is the reason for having it.

Hello,when i try to go to a website,i ca'nt log in because my user name and password pops up from another site,very frustrating,thank you.

My user name and password pop up even when i'm trying to go to a new site with a new name and password,i would like to delete all this info and start again as i'm being blocked from using other websites as my previous info is being entered into the new site.

Might try calling Apple to see if you can either get replacement originals, or Retail Tiger Disk, might have to talk to a product specialist & explain the no Disks deal.
You can check eBay, just be ertain the disks work for your particular model, many/most are machine specific.

JACOB and pop up windows

I am using JACOB to test a webapp that contains a proprietary activeX control. So far, so good...I can open a browser, navigate around, access the activeX control and call methods on it.
The problem I have is that one of the webapp links pops up a vbscript window and I cant seem to access it to "click OK" on it. Does anyone know how I can access the dialog window or any other popped up windows? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. I think JACOB is a pretty fantastic library...but really suffers in the documentation aspect and therefore requires a lot of experimenting and tinkering. Cheers.

files from a specific folder. In that folder the Contribute user
uploads images (menu: File, Publish file from my computer) and the
thumbnails can be created dynamically. Some lightbox scripting
would be nice to, instead of using popups.
