Two Problems With iPhone Photos

So there are some photos I have moved to my computer from my iPhone 5C that I didn't want to move. Some photos were from Instagram that I wanted to keep on my iPhone. When I try to move to the sub-folder in the DCIM folder, nothing happens because it won't let me rewrite to it.
Another problem I have is some photos don't come out as cropped when I crop them on my iPhone 5C before moving them to my computer, and they come out as their normal forms before becoming cropped in my iPhone 5C. My system is Windows 7 64-bit and when I try to edit them in Windows Photo Viewer, I get this error message and the photo doesn't edit:

When I first bought the iPhone 6+ and edited photos taken with the camera, the edits would transfer over to Aperture.
Being quite happy with that, I used the iPhone 6+ to take almost all of my shots on a recent very long trip, instead of my usual high-end cameras. Being quite anal, I spent a significant amount of time during the trip editing the shots to get the look I wanted. Just got back last night and tried to offload some of the photos into Aperture, and imagine my surprise. Further, my practice is to delete the photos on the iPhone when I transfer them over. Now I've lost all those edits since only the originals transferred over!
You guys at Apple, the following is directed at you...
This is absolutely ludicrous!
1. Why would one want to edit photos only not to be able to keep them?!
2. What is with the flip-flopping between different versions of the iOS - one version keeps edits and the next doesn't. And without warning?!
I have already lost all the edits of the initial batch I transferred over, which I painstakingly took the time to process (during my holiday I might add... what a waste of time!). Am I now supposed to lose all the edits to my remaining photos... unless I email them 5 at a time to myself???
PLEASE!!! revert back to having edits able to transfer over to Aperture.
And what, pray tell, is the rationale behind not allowing edits to be transferred over now, when a previous version of the iOS allowed it?
How terribly annoying...

TWO problems with iphone 3G S Calendar

First of all, my calendar always alerts me 10 minutes before an event regardless of whether I asked it to or not. I can select 'none' and hit done, but when I go back to the event, the alert is set to go off ten minutes before (it appears to change, but then changes back on it's own). This means when I've created an all-day event, it's waking me up at 11:50 at night to tell me my phone bill is due... So because of this I downloaded another calendar app and tried to delete all the events from the iphone calendar... and here comes the second problem. In the same strange way the alerts keep setting themselves, the events I delete reappear! I simply CANNOT delete any event I ever set to occur monthly or yearly. It seems to understand when I want to delete an one-off event (those haven't magically reappeared... yet) but not any others. I even tried changing the event to NOT be a recurring one before attempting to delete it, and that still didn't work. I think it's important to say that it seems to disappear, but will reappear after you've clicked into something else and gone back. I am definitely hitting 'done' before leaving the calendar, too, so it's not because I'm not saving it. It's really frustrating to be woken up in the middle of the night... It's the only bad experience I've had with this phone! Help!

my phone actually does 'sync' it just never completes the job. each time I go throught the process some things are actually done as for as changes I am trying to implement but others are not. the acytual syunc process just never stops, like I said before it will say 'sync in progress' for literally days without completing.

I just order 8 calendars from iPhoto and they came to me fine. Now I need to order two more but when I go thru the process I get a message saying:unable to assemble calendar. There is a probleme with the photo with the file name"(Null)" more........ .

Would someone be able to explain to me the following issue with Iphoto?
I ordered 8 same calendars for my soccer team and received them fine. Although a couple of pictures on it are a little off (out of focus). I need to order two more of the same calendars but when I go thru the process ireceive an error message saying:
"Unable to to assemble calendar" There is a problem with the photo with the file name "(Null)" The full resolution version of this photo either cannot be located or is corrupt. Please replace this photo or delete it from your calendar.
How can I fine this "corrupt" photo? How did it go thru with the first batch of calendars but won't go thru now?

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start
with Option #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I am experiencing two problems with iTunes on my iPhone 5s.
Issue 1: iTunes Match
Some song playback is merging songs. I select “Song A” to be played and midway through the song it begins playing “Song B” however when I look at my phone it indicates that “Song A” is still playing even though the actual music is not “Song A”. I searched the Apple Support Community as well as the internet and this seems to be an ongoing issue back to 2012 that has not been resolved. All of the “fixes” that are provided do not work. For example, update/sync iTunes Match, delete the song from your iPhone and re-download from the cloud or delete the song from your iTunes including the iCloud and re-download. None of which worked. I even tried to complete erase the song from my computer hard drive and restarted my computer and then re-downloaded the song and it was still not working.
Issue 2: iTunes Preview Track
I am unable to preview any music on iTunes through the iTunes app on my phone. I have signed out of my user ID and restarted my phone and then logged back in and it did not fix the problem. My iTunes Match and iTunes radio are allowing me to play music. My software is up-to-date.

Same problem here, Im running the latest version of iOS 7 on my iphone 5S (ipod 5S) bricked lol. It was working fine and then a mates baby grabbed my phone and dropped it (not very high) then it went off so i turned it on and BAM i got the grey backround with the apple logo on it so, I waited, Then it went to BSOD and got stuck in that loop, I then done a manual reset I was able to turn it off thats all. I tried restore in recovery mode with the latest itunes it come up with Unknown Error, error code (14) (something to do with unreconizable USB) tried many diffrent USB ports but sadly nothing, I then tried DFU mode with itunes still not working. Im really stuck on this one I need some assitance PLEASE! HELP!

Try to Restore with iTunes on your computer. If this does not work, there is full Warranty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

Windows do not repect the digital EXIF specification. Use a free viewer http://www.irfanview.net/ for Windows.

It is normal for it to get warm when it's being used, especially if it is hot outside. It can even get uncomfortably warm. As long as it is not causing you physical harm (as in giving you burns) or displaying a temperature warning, then it's normal behavior. It's like taking your laptop outside and using it. Except the laptop will probably burn you.

1. The rebooting problem was fixed, but there is still some problems with it though.

Cornelia-I, I used "single/image contact sheet" and there is a Lightroom
Template for 2x2 cells. I modified this a little to make the cells smaller
to provide room for the captions and margins for hole punching and binding
the sheets.
No, I surely did not type in each caption. The captions were Title plus
Caption taken from the metadata plus a comma and # sign preceding the
filename which was a date/sequence number. I was printing four different
images on each page and 36 images total so there were nine pages of the
booklet.
I didn't try the idea of switching the Photo Info option off and back on to
the custom package because I had already created a custom preset and as soon
as I discovered that all it needed was to have a period added or removed at
the end of the line each time, it was easy to simply switch back and forth
between the two text presets which was doing the same thing you recommended.
Whole job was simple once I discovered that the problem was simply that I
needed a new version of the text string every time I printed and couldn't
simply keep using the same one over and over. The time wasted was lost
trying to figure out what was causing the lines to suddenly become truncated
when previously they had been there. Which is why I wrote it up so others
need not waste that time if they want to do this.

There are major reception and battery problems with iPhone 3GS after upgrading to iOS 4.2.1.
I can not believe that Apple did not test this for major bugs like this one is.
I am a business user and can not effort to have bad reception. Apple wants to gain in the business clients... I never had this with my former BlackBerrys!
I need a reliable phone not a play thing like this is right now, it just needs it to work propely. And if a major bug like this comes along, fix it immediately. After the iPhone4 story, now this...incredible! Going back to my reliable BlackBerry! It just ain't reliable and takes forever to fix a problem.

I have the same issue after iOS 4.2.1 update. I am using iPhone 3GS officially unlocked by Apple. I tried using different SIM cards and both carriers show same problem when using phone in 3G mode. Phone falls back to EDGE mode showing 'E' from '3G' at start. I have reset the phone and rebooted several times and moved to different cell areas in the city just to verify the problem.
I had no such issues earlier. I also have Nokia E71 which shows full signal and has no such issues.
I have posted the bug on apple iphone feedback page. I hope they Apple will fix the problem and test the release properly on all models before releasing to public.

Universal Dock's remote doesn't work with iPhone Photos

Has anyone tried Universal Dock's remote with iPhone Photos? I can't get it to work.
The remote does work with iPhone music and video though.

i just bought this dock as a car dock. I have it hooked up to power 12v and output to 1/8 into head unit. Now, I have to be in iTunes music to get it to work and it only allows volume, playing of files in a playlist and to next song. Are any of you guys having issues with VERY limited use of the remote and lack of really a benefit from using a remote because you have to touch it anyways to change through songs or video??? Are you guys wondering why you even bought it if the remote is not supported as a functional addition?

I have this problem that started a while ago and seems to be getting worse.
Here are the different scenarios.
-If I try to share a photo to email within iPhoto, it will insert the image file name in the mail message, but no image icon or opened image. In iPhoto Preferences under General I have chosen to use Email Photos using Mail.
-If I choose to use iPhoto to send the photo, it will compose the message and the photo is viewable. If I send the message i can view the photo within the email I sent to myself. Nothing happens when I double click on the photo in the Mail message. Nothing happens when i control click on the photo in the mail message. Nothing happens when I try to drag the photo to the desktop from the mail message. When I try to save attachments from the email and choose a place to save it, the save button is grayed out and it cannot be saved. When I check the mail message it says there is an attachemnt but there is no file size listed.
-If I use the stationary within Mail app I cannot drag a photo into the placeholder, I get a circle with a line through it symbol when I try. It happens if I try to drag a photo from the desktop or from the media browser within Mail app.
-If I drag the photo to the desktop from iPhoto, I can double click it on the desktop and it will open in Preview.
-If I then control click on the same photo on the desktop and scroll to share/email, the generic photo icon will be inserted in the mail message. If i double click the photo icon in the mail message I get a message it can't be opened because it is empty.
-If I drag that same image to the mail message body the same thing happens.
-If I send that email to someone they cannot open the image file.
What I can do:
- I can drag that same image file on the desktop to my dropbox folder and it will upload. From there I can go on my iPad and download the photo and send it through email just fine.
-I can open the same image file on my desktop in Preview, I can copy and paste it into a mail message and the image will be viewable in the mail message by me and by the recipient.
-I can drag that same image on the desktop to my safari browser window and it will be viewable in the page. i can then copy and paste that image into a mail message and it is viewable in the message. I can then send that email message to myself and i can control click on the image and get all my options. It also shows as an attachment with the size of the image file in the mail message.
I can send that message to someone and they can see the photo and open it fine.
-If I send that same email to me I can see the photo within the mail. If I then drag that photo to the desktop I cannot use it again to put in an email as the same problem happens again.
I have tried all scenarios in my user account, another users account and in a guest account. The same happens in all. I am guessing because of this it is not a corrupt preference file, unless all of the preference files are corrupt. The guest user account I added a new email account so it was brand new and still had the problem.
I am stumped, all and any help is appreciated.

Another problem that may be related….
I have Snapz Pro. I used to be able to save the snaps to my desktop or a folder. Now when I take a screenshot and try to save the file to my desktop or a folder on my desktop I get this message "Files cannot be created in the selected location. You do not have permission to write to the selected location. Please choose a different location." I have found that i can only save the file to the clipboard. I have repaired permissions many times and still I have this problem.

Problems with Nokia Photos (Lifeblog)

I have been using Lifeblog 2.5 on my PC running on Windows XP sp2 for more than 2 years and was very pleased with how this software worked. I regularly used it to transfer both photos and videos from my N80 and N95 to my pc. When Lifeblog was premium software I paid for the full version.
I had a problem with my PC and had to perform a destructive recovery on the C drive of my pc. I then tried to download the Lifeblog program again from Nokia only to be met with a SORRY greeting. So i was able to find the Nokia Photos software which I downloaded and installed. I then imported my Back up files from Lifeblog.
The problem with Nokia Photos is Videos do not play. Only SMS and Photos can be viewed even though I have ticked all the boxes.
I think that Nokia must have some problems with Lifeblog and Nokia Photos. Any help as to how I may be able to get it to work as well as it was before would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here with and I've done everything shy of a total reset which I also find unacceptable. This problem exists on all iMessage platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) so I don't see how restoring my iPhone would help the problem.
