automatic updater has updated Firefox on profile "Gordon" but on profile "Leslie" it still shows the earlier release. These two may be in conflict. It seems like there might be a Windows problem as the "Leslie" profile is using a different release...

That is as it should be, you can only have one default browser and one default profile, If Firefox is already open you will use the profile that is in use, unless you open with -no-remote on the start
for the second Firefox. Never use -no-remote on the default profile and never use the default profile with -no-remote and you will avoid problems.

Mine is doing the same thing. I deleted the whole account from the mail settings and it got rid of most of the extra calendars. But there are still 2 gibberish ones left.

There are users reporting the process being stuck and it might have to do with apple turning on match to other countries today.
Have you tried turning match off and letting it remove all none downloaded songs and then turning match back on to see if it fixes it?
Sometimes turn match off and then back on fixes some things, but not always.
Especially if it is working on your other devices, it has to be with the one your trying to get the song downloaded onto.

I have the 6500A without plus and it is with a LAN cable connected with my Router.
First make sure you have the latest printer firmware installed.
Next restart the printer and the Router.
I had the same. Problem but it went away after rebooting the Router.

This should fix it:
Open the phone and dial *228. This is a Verizon over-the-air programming number.
When the system answer press 1 for "Program or activate your phone"
Wait for the call to disconnect. You should get a prompt stating "Settings updated."
Double tap the Home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom. Locate the Phone, Message, and Contacts apps, swiping if necessary, and press and hold until they jiggle then press the red minus sign to stop them.
Wait a 3-5 minutes.
Try your phone again to verify that it's fixed.

I have a set of web pages that reproducibly causes Firefox to act incorrectly. When Firefox is first started I click the "Restore previous desktop" button. Then I have 2 Firefox windows. The first to open has 6 tabs; the second has 1 tab. When I close the 2nd window (with 1 tab), it also closes Firefox completely with no error message. When I run Firefox again, "Restore" creates both windows exactly as they were before.
I don't know yet if the actual URLs make a difference, but here they are anyway:

The page has definitely finished being rendered (the refresh icon is displayed after the url "woot"), but the URL does not match the page. The URL displayed is not even in its proper form (i.e., www.woot.com).
Remember that this page was RESTORED by Firefox from a previous session. It is as if I was on that tab at verizon, tried to go to woot.com by typing "woot" (which would of course bring up a search rather than the web page), DIDN'T PRESS ENTER, and Firefox is duplicating that entire sequence.

With this exact set of windows and tabs, as restored by Firefox in a brand new instance of it, double-clicking the red Firefox in the top left corner of the 2nd window causes both windows to close.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at [http://www.getfirefox.com getfirefox.com].
As for your problem, make sure your instructing Firefox to open the link in a new tab. For example, middle-clicking (pressing the mouse wheel or the central button of the mouse) the link will open it in a new tab.
If that doesn't help, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. I am getting the message "the disc you inserted was not readable by this computer" when I plug in a verizon air card into my macbook air. It also does not show up as a device on my desktop. However, I select "ignore" and am still able to connect.

Whenever I insert my verizon air card into my MBA, I get the message "the disc you inserted was not readable by the computer", with the option to either ignore or eject. I select ignore, and am able to connect to the internet, but don't know why this happens. Also, the air card is not showing up as a peripheral on my desk top. When I unplugged (power) and plugged in again to restart it, yes, I heard it spin and click. Not since then though. I assumed it went to sleep and since the computers don't recognize it they won't wake it.

One email account sends and receives emails, the other does not

I have two different email accounts set up on my phone. They both worked, until I had my phone was serviced and wiped clean. Now one account sends and receives and the other does not. I have tried everything from deleting the account on the phone and rebooting, to changing my password. When I reactivate the account I get a message saying "activation server" and that messages will be forwarded within 20 minutes and they never come. I'm not sure what else to try.

Anyone who has had a webcam failure where the "device manager does not recognize the hardware"?

HP Pavilion dv7 running win 7 64 bit
Device manager does not recognize trueVision HD webcam. Tried all the suggestions on HP website, which eventually says it's a hardware failure. Has anyone had any resolution to this issue? I see the problem occurs across various platforms with varying resolutions to the problem.

Ha Ha. I'm replying to my own post!
Solution.... If your laptop does not recognize the built-in camera at all in the device manager and your warranty has expired or your willing to void your warranty. You can see if you have the same problem as I had. Gently pry the plastic frame around your camera and display screen apart you need to go at least half way down the sides. There is also some adhesive tape you will need to push to one side or the other. To the right of the camera there is a very small connector, it wont even look as if it is separated. Use a tweezer or small screwdriver to push the connector into the socket. This fixed my problem ...The next startup recognized the camera and has worked perfectly since. In my opinion (13yrs experience in reliability engineering semiconductor manufacturing) this is a manufacturing reliability issue either the socket cannot hold the connector in place or there is too much strain on the wiring to the connector. Good luck.

This in itself would not have been such a problem, but when I went to the App store to try and download the Tumblr App, a pop up appeared asking me to answer some security questions before I could successfully install the App. However, the pop up would not display correctly because of 'security certificate' issues and as a result I can't download any apps from the App Store.
