Two Queries as Work Sheets in the Same WorkBook

Hi,
I have two queries which i want to include in the same work books as Sheet1 and Sheet2. I am currently able have only one query. I am on 7.0 and am not finding that option to add the second in the workbook. Could someone suggest how i go about doing it.

Hi Rashmi,
Please follow THese steps....
1.Open BEx ANalyzer
2.Create New workbook
3.Insert An Analysis Item in the first worksheet->Go to Properties of Analysis item and assign query by clicking "Create Data Prvoder" Icon
4.Switch to Analysis Mode,you will able to see teh data of Query in the Analysis Item
5.Insert new worksheet in the same workbook
6.Insert an Analysis Item in the second worksheet->Go to Properties of Analysis item.Here it will list the Data Provider which is already assigned for the analysis item in sheet1.You have to assign new query by clicking "Create Data Prvoder" Icon.This will assign the second query to the analysis item in second worksheet
7.Switch to Analysis Mode.
Now you can able to see worksheet1 with Query1 and worksheet2 with Query2.

Can somebody please confirm that Numbers does NOT offer the possiblity to have a hyperlink linking to another sheet within the same workbook?

In the current version of Numbers, hyperlinks are limited to opening web pages in browsers & email messages in email client applications. Even if a new, enhanced version honored a wider range of URL's, say of the "file://" type, they would probably open a new window in an appropriate application.
As I don't believe individual sheets in a Numbers document have URL's (or URI's?), it is unlikely that an enhanced hyperlink feature would be suitable for what you want to do.
You can, of course, quickly move between sheets by clicking on their names in the "Sheets" pane, so perhaps a combination of descriptive sheet names & text boxes in selected sheets saying something like "Click 'Sales' to see more' would be an acceptable workaround.

Multiple Excel Sheets of the same Workbook

if anyone know where is exactly the problem here,in order to inser each row of the table in a different worksheet of the same workbook
by the way the moment i try to use a loop with excel get worksheet,to link the indexation with the worksheet index i get error and it doesn't work
or i have to use this one with some loop with "open new worksheet.vi"

I need help obtaining a number from a previous sheet inside the same workbook...

I am basically trying to put together a system for tracking the hours I work as a casual against the hours I get paid for.
I have setup a sheet that allows me to enter in my daily hours for a pay fortnight (plus some other information such as breaks etc.)
I then enter in the hours I was paid from my payslip and I often have a discrepancy which I have titled OUTSTANDING HOURS.
(This discrepancy is caused by my wing of the business running on a Thursday to Wednesday week whilst the pay office runs Sunday to Saturday - this overlap is why I wish to track my hours so carefully)
I have a new sheet for each pay fortnight. Fortnight 1 / Fortnight 2 / Fortnight 3 for example (they are actually titled by the date range of each fortnight)
What I am hoping to be able to do is automatically bring the previous fortnight's OUTSTANDING HOURS cell into a specific cell on the following sheet.
I know how to do this using =PRODUCT('Fortnight 1' :: Master :: E27) - where e27 is the OUTSTANDING HOURS total from the sheet titled Fortnight 1
This however requires the OUTSTANDING HOURS to always come from Fortnight 1.
When I get to Fortnight 3 I would want the OUTSTANDING HOURS to come from Fortnight 2 sheet.
Can this be setup so that it takes the info from the previous sheet in the workbook rather than a specifically titled sheet... Or will I have to change this formula everytime I duplicate my MASTER....

I suggest that you use the INDIRECT(ADDRESS()) form of addressing. The last parameter in the ADDRESS function is the TableName. Use a table cell reference in TableName's position and in that cell, type the table name from which the data is to come. This way all your equations stay the same from Sheet to Sheet, but the name of the previous sheet is entered into a cell as data, self documenting and easy to edit.

Spreadsheet output on more than one sheet in the same workbook

I have created many reports having the output being a spreadsheet. But the output is on 1 worksheet in 1 workbook. Any thoughts on how to make 1 report output to more than 1 worksheet in 1 workbook?
We are using Reports 10g.

Unfortunately, this can't be done with Pages, nor could it be done with AppleWorks. I think the assumption is that you would merge into a letter & one letter sent per person. In checking the 3 postcard templates in Pages 3, none of them have address book fields to drop contacts into.
There is a workaround, but it might not be worth the effort. Create your postcard as a single, large document in page layout in landscape & merge to a new document. Then, in the print dialog, choose Layout from the drop-down menu that says Copies & Pages & choose 4 from the Pages per Sheet menu. You might also want to add a hairline border for cut lines.

Hi,
You need to switch to design mode (BEx Analyser Menu - Design Toolbar - Design Mode). For each query that you want to embed, insert an analysis grid item in the workbook. Link each analysis grid to its corresponding data provider (query).

Two separate enterprise WiFi networks in the same building

I work in a building that currently has Cisco controller based access points. The access points aren't managed by us and are actually part of another campus. We are given access to them but they don't work quite like we want them to. So we are wanting to bring in our own Cisco WLC 2504 with 3702 APs. But when we brought this up with the main campus they said we can't have two separate enterprise wireless networks in the same building. That their APs will mark our APs as rogues and try to shut them down. There was also mention that they can't share the same channel and that the radios will negotiate with each other to determine how much power they need for coverage. But from what I've read none of that is true. So maybe I misunderstanding something and hoping someone here with more experience can shed some light on this. The only reason we would want to keep their wireless in the building is so when their staff come to our office they can use it.
So can two separate WLC/AP systems on different subnets and broadcasting different SSIDs exist in the same building with out causing any issues?

By default, the WLC code does not try to contain rogue AP's. Just lots of alarm's and unclassified rogue's.
In this case you hosts may have actually enabled containment but would have also received a screen full of warning about the public nature of the unlicensed wifi band.
Here the Superior Court system is side by side with the County system even to the extent that the AP's are next to each other. Gets fun. Since each SSID constitutes a rogue, each unit represents a LOT of rogues to report.

How do I reference cells from a different table/ sheet in the same document

Say I have a Sheet that contains two Tables: [A] and . Is it possible to cross-reference the content of a cell in Table [A] from Table and use it to create a function in Table ?
Eg: =SUM[TableA(K20)]+[TableB(F20:F50)]
Could I similarly cross-reference the content of cells in Tables in different Sheets?

Seb,
Yes, you can. With the cursor in the location where you want to place the external reference, navigate to your Sheet and Table of choice and click the cell that you wish to reference. The external reference will appear in the formula.
Note however that we are talking about different sheets in the same Numbers file. We can't reference sheets or tables in other files.

Two or more people editing at the same time

Dear All,
I am planning to purchase FCP Server, and I am just in a very beginning of consideration.
Immediately, I am wondering if FCP Server can let two or more people editing on the same project at the same time.
I know it has Check-in function, and it seems to me that it just takes the project to another computer to do editing. What if another person wants to do editing on the same project?
Also, if it allows us many people to do editing on the same project, can we save the project at the same time on the same computer installed FCP Server?
Please advise.

In Final Cut Server (FCSvr) checking out a Final Cut Pro project (FCProj) creates a copy of the project file at a location you specify saving it to on your local computer. When you check out a FCProj, the project asset is locked and cannot be modified by other users. Additionally, every media asset that is used in the project is locked from being modified by other users.
However in a you're trying to have multiple users work on and edit the same project, I'd suggest start by duplicating the FCProj asset within FCSvr. Maybe start with a master capture / digitize project that contains all the media needed to work on by both editor. This will allow for multiple editors to have access to the same project media assets. In any scenario where multiple editors are collaborating, I'd suggest have them also work on separate project file and maybe split / divi up the work, based on scene, act etc.
Sequences can be easily merge between project later.

Actually, everyone missed one point, when a device is priced, the cost of icloud storage space for that device is also included in it that is why they are able to give you 5gb each for each user ID, in nutshell there is nothing free coming with apple device purchase, it is paid for. What they are trying by giving only 5gb per user ID irrespective of the number of devices used is pure broadlight looting, they take money from you when you buy each device and give you nothing, This is a case of goods and services bought but not fully deliverd ie apple can be suied for discreminatory treatment towards it's users. I wonder why no one tried this yet in America where everyone sue everyone for petty things..... there is no one to take up this issue? . if tim got any love for the guys who shell out money for the devices his company makes, he should be implimenting this as priority before someone wake up from sleep and sue him.

Ralph..........Did as you suggested and I am still getting the message "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding". I am not able to connect with anything on the Internet. Frustrating since I am able to connect with my laptop. Thanks for the suggestion.

Obvious question, but have you got 'Find My iPhone' set on both devices? Settings>iCloud>Find My iPhone.
